- 「天の 國は 次のようにたとえられる． 畑に 寶が 隱されている． 見つけた 人は， そのまま 隱しておき， 喜びながら 歸り， 持ち 物をすっかり 賣り 拂って， その 畑を 買う．
- また， 天の 國は 次のようにたとえられる． 商人が 良い 眞珠を 探している．
- 高價な 眞珠を 一つ 見つけると， 出かけて 行って 持ち 物をすっかり 賣り 拂い， それを 買う．
- また， 天の 國は 次のようにたとえられる． 網が 湖に 投げ 降ろされ， いろいろな 魚を 集める．
- 網がいっぱいになると， 人¿は 岸に 引き 上げ， 座って， 良いものは 器に 入れ， 惡いものは 投げ 捨てる．

- Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
- Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
- Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
- Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
- Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

- 世の 終わりにもそうなる． 天使たちが 來て， 正しい 人¿の 中にいる 惡い 者どもをより 分け，
- 燃え 盛る 爐の 中に 投げ ¿むのである． 惡い 者どもは， そこで 泣きわめいて 齒ぎしりするだろう． 」
- 「あなたがたは， これらのことがみな 分かったか． 」弟子たちは， 「分かりました 」と 言った．
- そこで， イエス は 言われた． 「だから， 天の 國のことを 學んだ 學者は 皆， 自分の 倉から 新しいものと 古いものを 取り 出す 一家の 主人に 似ている． 」
- イエス はこれらのたとえを 語り 終えると， そこを 去り，

- So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
- And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
- Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
- Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
- And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.

- 故鄕にお 歸りになった． 會堂で 敎えておられると， 人¿は 驚いて 言った． 「この 人は， このような 知惠と 奇跡を 行う 力をどこから 得たのだろう．
- この 人は 大工の 息子ではないか． 母親は マリア といい， 兄弟は ヤコブ ， ヨセフ ， シモン ， ユダ ではないか．
- 姉妹たちは 皆， 我¿と 一緖に 住んでいるではないか． この 人はこんなことをすべて， いったいどこから 得たのだろう． 」
- このように， 人¿は イエス につまずいた． イエス は， 「預言者が 敬われないのは， その 故鄕， 家族の 間だけである 」と 言い，
- 人¿が 不信仰だったので， そこではあまり 奇跡をなさらなかった．

- And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
- Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
- And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
- And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
- And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
