- 瞳のようにわたしを 守り ／あなたの 翼の 陰に 隱してください．
- あなたに 逆らう 者がわたしを 虐げ ／·欲な 敵がわたしを 包圍しています．
- 彼らは 自分の 肥え 太った 心のとりことなり ／口¿に 傲慢なことを 言います．
- わたしに 攻め 寄せ， わたしを 包圍し ／地に 打ち 倒そうとねらっています．
- そのさまは 獲物を 求めてあえぐ 獅子 ／待ち 伏せる 若い 獅子のようです．

- Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
- From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
- They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
- They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;
- Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

- 主よ， 立ち 上がってください． 御顔を 向けて 彼らに 迫り， 屈服させてください． あなたの 劍をもって 逆らう 者を 擊ち ／わたしの 魂を 助け 出してください．
- 主よ， 御手をもって 彼らを 絶ち， この 世から 絶ち ／命ある 者の 中から 彼らの 分を 絶ってください． しかし， 御もとに 隱れる 人には ／豊かに 食べ 物をお 與えください． 子らも 食べて 飽き， 子孫にも 豊かに 殘すように．
- わたしは 正しさを 認められ， 御顔を 仰ぎ 望み ／目覺めるときには 御姿を 拜して ／滿ち 足りることができるでしょう．

- Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
- From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
- As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
