- ファリサイ 派の 人¿は， イエス が サドカイ 派の 人¿を 言い ¿められたと 聞いて， 一緖に 集まった．
- そのうちの 一人， 律法の 專門家が， イエス を 試そうとして 尋ねた．
- 「先生， 律法の 中で， どの ¿が 最も 重要でしょうか． 」
- イエス は 言われた． 「『心を 盡くし， 精神を 盡くし， 思いを 盡くして， あなたの 神である 主を 愛しなさい． 』
- これが 最も 重要な 第一の ¿である．

- But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
- Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
- Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
- Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- This is the first and great commandment.

- 第二も， これと 同じように 重要である． 『隣人を 自分のように 愛しなさい． 』
- 律法全體と 預言者は， この 二つの ¿に 基づいている． 」
- ファリサイ 派の 人¿が 集まっていたとき， イエス はお 尋ねになった．
- 「あなたたちは メシア のことをどう 思うか． だれの 子だろうか． 」彼らが， 「ダビデ の 子です 」と 言うと，
- イエス は 言われた． 「では， どうして ダビデ は， 靈を 受けて， メシア を 主と 呼んでいるのだろうか．

- And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
- While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
- Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
- He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,

- 『主は， わたしの 主にお 告げになった． 「わたしの 右の 座に 着きなさい， ／わたしがあなたの 敵を ／あなたの 足もとに 屈服させるときまで 」と． 』
- このように ダビデ が メシア を 主と 呼んでいるのであれば， どうして メシア が ダビデ の 子なのか． 」
- これにはだれ 一人， ひと 言も 言い 返すことができず， その 日からは， もはやあえて 質問する 者はなかった．

- The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
- If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
- And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
