	마태복음 25:31-26:13 예수님께서는 양과 염소의 비유를 통해 최후의 심판을 경고하셨다. 이 때 대제사장들과 장로들은 예수님을 잡아 죽이기 위해 한창 의논하고 있었다. 한편 베다니에 오신 예수님에게 마리아는 향유를 부어 메시아의 장사를 예비하였다.

	심판의 경고(25:31-25:46)

「人の子は，榮光に輝いて天使たちを皆從えて來るとき，その榮光の座に着く．

そして，すべての國の民がその前に集められると，羊飼いが羊と山羊を分けるように，彼らをより分け，

羊を右に，山羊を左に置く．

そこで，王は右側にいる人たちに言う．『さあ，わたしの父に祝福された人たち，天地創造の時からお前たちのために用意されている國を受け繼ぎなさい．

お前たちは，わたしが飢えていたときに食べさせ，のどが渴いていたときに飮ませ，旅をしていたときに宿を貸し，

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

裸のときに着せ，病氣のときに見舞い，牢にいたときに訪ねてくれたからだ．』

すると，正しい人たちが王に答える．『主よ，いつわたしたちは，飢えておられるのを見て食べ物を差し上げ，のどが渴いておられるのを見て飮み物を差し上げたでしょうか．

いつ，旅をしておられるのを見てお宿を貸し，裸でおられるのを見てお着せしたでしょうか．

いつ，病氣をなさったり，牢におられたりするのを見て，お訪ねしたでしょうか．』

そこで，王は答える．『はっきり言っておく．わたしの兄弟であるこの最も小さい者の一人にしたのは，わたしにしてくれたことなのである．』

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

それから，王は左側にいる人たちにも言う．『呪われた者ども，わたしから離れ去り，惡魔とその手下のために用意してある永遠の火に入れ．

お前たちは，わたしが飢えていたときに食べさせず，のどが渴いたときに飮ませず，

旅をしていたときに宿を貸さず，裸のときに着せず，病氣のとき，牢にいたときに，訪ねてくれなかったからだ．』

すると，彼らも答える．『主よ，いつわたしたちは，あなたが飢えたり，渴いたり，旅をしたり，裸であったり，病氣であったり，牢におられたりするのを見て，お世話をしなかったでしょうか．』

そこで，王は答える．『はっきり言っておく．この最も小さい者の一人にしなかったのは，わたしにしてくれなかったことなのである．』

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

こうして，この者どもは永遠の罰を受け，正しい人たちは永遠の命にあずかるのである．」

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

	향유 사건(26:1-26:13)

イエスはこれらの言葉をすべて語り終えると，弟子たちに言われた．

「あなたがたも知っているとおり，二日後は過越祭である．人の子は，十字架につけられるために引き渡される．」

そのころ，祭司長たちや民の長老たちは，カイアファという大祭司の屋敷に集まり，

計略を用いてイエスを捕らえ，殺そうと相談した．

しかし彼らは，「民衆の中に ¿ぎが起こるといけないから，祭りの間はやめておこう」と言っていた．

And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,

Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,

And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.

But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

さて，イエスがベタニアでらい病の人シモンの家におられたとき，

一人の女が，極めて高價な香油の入った石膏の壺を持って近寄り，食事の席に着いておられるイエスの頭に香油を注ぎかけた．

弟子たちはこれを見て，憤慨して言った．「なぜ，こんな無馱使いをするのか．

高く賣って，貧しい人¿に施すことができたのに．」

イエスはこれを知って言われた．「なぜ，この人を困らせるのか．わたしに良いことをしてくれたのだ．

Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,

There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.

When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.

貧しい人¿はいつもあなたがたと一緖にいるが，わたしはいつも一緖にいるわけではない．

この人はわたしの體に香油を注いで，わたしを葬る準備をしてくれた．

はっきり言っておく．世界中どこでも，この福音が宣べ傳えられる所では，この人のしたことも記念として語り傳えられるだろう．」

For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.

For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.
