	시편 35:1-35:8 다윗은 자신의 생명을 해하려고 하는 대적으로부터 구원해 주시길 하나님께 간구하고 있다. ［다윗의 시］

【ダビデの詩．】主よ，わたしと爭う者と爭い／わたしと戰う者と戰ってください．

大盾と盾を取り／立ち上がってわたしを助けてください．

わたしに追い迫る者の前に／槍を構えて立ちふさがってください．どうか，わたしの魂に言ってください／「お前を救おう」と．

わたしの命を奪おうとする者は／恥に落とされ，嘲りを受けますように．わたしに災いを謀る者は／辱めを受けて退きますように．

風に飛ぶもみ殼となった彼らが／主の使いに追い拂われますように．

Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.

Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.

Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.

道を暗闇に閉ざされ，足を滑らせる彼らに／主の使いが追い迫りますように．

彼らは無實なわたしを滅ぼそうと網を張り／わたしの魂を滅ぼそうと落とし穴を掘りました．

どうか，思わぬ時に破滅が臨み／彼らが自ら張った網に掛かり／破滅に落ちますように．

Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.

Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
