- 一同が 食事をしているとき， イエス は パン を 取り， 贊美の 祈りを 唱えて， それを 裂き， 弟子たちに 與えて 言われた． 「取りなさい． これはわたしの 體である． 」
- また， 杯を 取り， 感謝の 祈りを 唱えて， 彼らにお 渡しになった． 彼らは 皆その 杯から 飮んだ．
- そして， イエス は 言われた． 「これは， 多くの 人のために 流されるわたしの 血， 契約の 血である．
- はっきり 言っておく． 神の 國で 新たに 飮むその 日まで， ぶどうの 實から 作ったものを 飮むことはもう 決してあるまい． 」
- 一同は 贊美の 歌をうたってから， オリ ― ブ 山へ 出かけた．

- And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
- And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
- And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
- Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
- And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

- イエス は 弟子たちに 言われた． 「あなたがたは 皆わたしにつまずく． 『わたしは 羊飼いを 打つ． すると， 羊は 散ってしまう 』／と 書いてあるからだ．
- しかし， わたしは 復活した 後， あなたがたより 先に ガリラヤ へ 行く． 」
- すると ペトロ が， 「たとえ， みんながつまずいても， わたしはつまずきません 」と 言った．
- イエス は 言われた． 「はっきり 言っておくが， あなたは， 今日， 今夜， 鷄が 二度鳴く 前に， 三度わたしのことを 知らないと 言うだろう． 」
- ペトロ は 力を ¿めて 言い 張った． 「たとえ， 御一緖に 死なねばならなくなっても， あなたのことを 知らないなどとは 決して 申しません． 」皆の 者も 同じように 言った．

- And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
- But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.
- But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.
- And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
- But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

- 一同が ゲツセマネ という 所に 來ると， イエス は 弟子たちに， 「わたしが 祈っている 間， ここに 座っていなさい 」と 言われた．
- そして， ペトロ ， ヤコブ ， ヨハネ を 伴われたが， イエス はひどく 恐れてもだえ 始め，
- 彼らに 言われた． 「わたしは 死ぬばかりに 悲しい． ここを 離れず， 目を 覺ましていなさい． 」
- 少し 進んで 行って 地面にひれ 伏し， できることなら， この 苦しみの 時が 自分から 過ぎ 去るようにと 祈り，
- こう 言われた． 「アッバ ， 父よ， あなたは 何でもおできになります． この 杯をわたしから 取りのけてください． しかし， わたしが 願うことではなく， 御心に 適うことが 行われますように． 」

- And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
- And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
- And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
- And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
- And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

- それから， 戾って 御覽になると， 弟子たちは 眠っていたので， ペトロ に 言われた． 「シモン ， 眠っているのか． わずか 一時も 目を 覺ましていられなかったのか．
- 誘惑に 陷らぬよう， 目を 覺まして 祈っていなさい． 心は 燃えても， 肉體は 弱い． 」
- 更に， 向こうへ 行って， 同じ 言葉で 祈られた．
- 再び 戾って 御覽になると， 弟子たちは 眠っていた． ひどく 眠かったのである． 彼らは， イエス にどう 言えばよいのか， 分からなかった．
- イエス は 三度目に 戾って 來て 言われた． 「あなたがたはまだ 眠っている． 休んでいる． もうこれでいい． 時が 來た． 人の 子は 罪人たちの 手に 引き 渡される．

- And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
- Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
- And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.
- And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.
- And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

- 立て， 行こう． 見よ， わたしを 裏切る 者が 來た． 」
- さて， イエス がまだ 話しておられると， 十二人の 一人である ユダ が 進み 寄って 來た． 祭司長， 律法學者， 長老たちの 遣わした 群衆も， 劍や 棒を 持って 一緖に 來た．
- イエス を 裏切ろうとしていた ユダ は， 「わたしが 接吻するのが， その 人だ． 捕まえて， 逃がさないように 連れて 行け 」と， 前もって 合圖を 決めていた．
- ユダ はやって 來るとすぐに， イエス に 近寄り， 「先生 」と 言って 接吻した．
- 人¿は， イエス に 手をかけて 捕らえた．

- Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.
- And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
- And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
- And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.
- And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

- 居合わせた 人¿のうちのある 者が， 劍を 拔いて 大祭司の 手下に 打ってかかり， 片方の 耳を 切り 落とした．
- そこで， イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「まるで 强盜にでも 向かうように， 劍や 棒を 持って 捕らえに 來たのか．
- わたしは 每日， 神殿の 境內で 一緖にいて 敎えていたのに， あなたたちはわたしを 捕らえなかった． しかし， これは 聖書の 言葉が 實現するためである． 」
- 弟子たちは 皆， イエス を 見捨てて 逃げてしまった．
- 一人の 若者が， 素肌に 亞麻布をまとって イエス について 來ていた． 人¿が 捕らえようとすると，

- And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
- And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?
- I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.
- And they all forsook him, and fled.
- And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

- 亞麻布を 捨てて 裸で 逃げてしまった．

- And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.
