- さて， ある ファリサイ 派の 人が， 一緖に 食事をしてほしいと 願ったので， イエス はその 家に 入って 食事の 席に 着かれた．
- この 町に 一人の 罪深い 女がいた． イエス が ファリサイ 派の 人の 家に 入って 食事の 席に 着いておられるのを 知り， 香油の 入った 石膏の 壺を 持って 來て，
- 後ろから イエス の 足もとに 近寄り， 泣きながらその 足を 淚でぬらし 始め， 自分の 髮の 毛でぬぐい， イエス の 足に 接吻して 香油を 塗った．
- イエス を 招待した ファリサイ 派の 人はこれを 見て， 「この 人がもし 預言者なら， 自分に 觸れている 女がだれで， どんな 人か 分かるはずだ． 罪深い 女なのに 」と 思った．
- そこで， イエス がその 人に 向かって， 「シモン ， あなたに 言いたいことがある 」と 言われると， シモン は， 「先生， おっしゃってください 」と 言った．

- And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
- And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
- And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
- Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
- And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

- イエス はお 話しになった． 「ある 金貸しから， 二人の 人が 金を 借りていた． 一人は 五百 デナリオン ， もう 一人は 五十 デナリオン である．
- 二人には 返す 金がなかったので， 金貸しは 兩方の 借金を 帳消しにしてやった． 二人のうち， どちらが 多くその 金貸しを 愛するだろうか． 」
- シモン は， 「帳消しにしてもらった 額の 多い 方だと 思います 」と 答えた． イエス は， 「そのとおりだ 」と 言われた．
- そして， 女の 方を 振り 向いて， シモン に 言われた． 「この 人を 見ないか． わたしがあなたの 家に 入ったとき， あなたは 足を 洗う 水もくれなかったが， この 人は 淚でわたしの 足をぬらし， 髮の 毛でぬぐってくれた．
- あなたはわたしに 接吻の ¿¿もしなかったが， この 人はわたしが 入って 來てから， わたしの 足に 接吻してやまなかった．

- There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
- And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
- Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
- And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
- Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

- あなたは 頭に オリ ― ブ 油を 塗ってくれなかったが， この 人は 足に 香油を 塗ってくれた．
- だから， 言っておく． この 人が 多くの 罪を 赦されたことは， わたしに 示した 愛の 大きさで 分かる． 赦されることの 少ない 者は， 愛することも 少ない． 」
- そして， イエス は 女に， 「あなたの 罪は 赦された 」と 言われた．
- 同席の 人たちは， 「罪まで 赦すこの 人は， いったい 何者だろう 」と 考え 始めた．
- イエス は 女に， 「あなたの 信仰があなたを 救った． 安心して 行きなさい 」と 言われた．

- My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
- Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
- And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
- And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
- And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
