- 群衆の 一人が 言った． 「先生， わたしにも 遺産を 分けてくれるように 兄弟に 言ってください． 」
- イエス はその 人に 言われた． 「だれがわたしを， あなたがたの 裁判官や 調停人に 任命したのか． 」
- そして， 一同に 言われた． 「どんな ·欲にも 注意を 拂い， 用心しなさい． 有り 余るほど 物を 持っていても， 人の 命は 財産によってどうすることもできないからである． 」
- それから， イエス はたとえを 話された． 「ある 金持ちの 畑が 豊作だった．
- 金持ちは， 『どうしよう． 作物をしまっておく 場所がない 』と 思い 巡らしたが，

- And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
- And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
- And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
- And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
- And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

- やがて 言った． 『こうしよう． 倉を 壞して， もっと 大きいのを 建て， そこに 穀物や 財産をみなしまい，
- こう 自分に 言ってやるのだ． 「さあ， これから 先何年も 生きて 行くだけの 蓄えができたぞ． ひと 休みして， 食べたり 飮んだりし ㅣ體 �� ⅛ 肋 류脾 ㅩ
- しかし 神は， 『愚かな 者よ， 今夜， お 前の 命は 取り 上げられる． お 前が 用意した 物は， いったいだれのものになるのか 』と 言われた．
- 自分のために 富を 積んでも， 神の 前に 豊かにならない 者はこのとおりだ． 」
- それから， イエス は 弟子たちに 言われた． 「だから， 言っておく． 命のことで 何を 食べようか， 體のことで 何を 着ようかと 思い 惱むな．

- And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
- And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
- But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
- So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
- And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

- 命は 食べ 物よりも 大切であり， 體は 衣服よりも 大切だ．
- 烏のことを 考えてみなさい． 種も 蒔かず， 刈り 入れもせず， 納屋も 倉も 持たない． だが， 神は 烏を 養ってくださる． あなたがたは， 鳥よりもどれほど 價値があることか．
- あなたがたのうちのだれが， 思い 惱んだからといって， 壽命をわずかでも 延ばすことができようか．
- こんなごく 小さな 事さえできないのに， なぜ， ほかの 事まで 思い 惱むのか．
- 野原の 花がどのように 育つかを 考えてみなさい． ¿きもせず 紡ぎもしない． しかし， 言っておく． 榮華を 極めた ソロモン でさえ， この 花の 一つほどにも 着飾ってはいなかった．

- The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
- Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
- And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
- If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
- Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

- 今日は 野にあって， 明日は 爐に 投げ ¿まれる 草でさえ， 神はこのように 裝ってくださる． まして， あなたがたにはなおさらのことである． 信仰の 薄い 者たちよ．
- あなたがたも， 何を 食べようか， 何を 飮もうかと 考えてはならない． また， 思い 惱むな．
- それはみな， 世の 異邦人が 切に 求めているものだ． あなたがたの 父は， これらのものがあなたがたに 必要なことをご 存じである．
- ただ， 神の 國を 求めなさい． そうすれば， これらのものは 加えて 與えられる．
- 小さな 群れよ， 恐れるな． あなたがたの 父は 喜んで 神の 國をくださる．

- If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
- And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
- For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
- But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
- Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

- 自分の 持ち 物を 賣り 拂って 施しなさい． 擦り 切れることのない 財布を 作り， 盡きることのない 富を 天に 積みなさい． そこは， 盜人も 近寄らず， 蟲も 食い 荒らさない．
- あなたがたの 富のあるところに， あなたがたの 心もあるのだ． 」

- Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
