- ちょうどそのとき， 何人かの 人が 來て， ピラト が ガリラヤ 人の 血を 彼らのいけにえに 混ぜたことを イエス に 告げた．
- イエス はお 答えになった． 「その ガリラヤ 人たちがそのような 災難に 遭ったのは， ほかのどの ガリラヤ 人よりも 罪深い 者だったからだと 思うのか．
- 決してそうではない． 言っておくが， あなたがたも 悔い 改めなければ， 皆同じように 滅びる．
- また， シロアム の 塔が 倒れて 死んだあの 十八人は， エルサレム に 住んでいたほかのどの 人¿よりも， 罪深い 者だったと 思うのか．
- 決してそうではない． 言っておくが， あなたがたも 悔い 改めなければ， 皆同じように 滅びる． 」

- There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
- And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
- Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

- そして， イエス は 次のたとえを 話された． 「ある 人がぶどう 園にいちじくの 木を 植えておき， 實を 探しに 來たが 見つからなかった．
- そこで， 園丁に 言った． 『もう 三年もの 間， このいちじくの 木に 實を 探しに 來ているのに， 見つけたためしがない． だから 切り 倒せ． なぜ， 土地をふさがせておくのか． 』
- 園丁は 答えた． 『御主人樣， 今年もこのままにしておいてください． 木の 周りを 掘って， 肥やしをやってみます．
- そうすれば， 來年は 實がなるかもしれません． もしそれでもだめなら， 切り 倒してください． 』」
- 安息日に， イエス はある 會堂で 敎えておられた．

- He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
- Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
- And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
- And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
- And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

- そこに， 十八年間も 病の 靈に 取りつかれている 女がいた． 腰が 曲がったまま， どうしても 伸ばすことができなかった．
- イエス はその 女を 見て 呼び 寄せ， 「婦人よ， 病氣は 治った 」と 言って，
- その 上に 手を 置かれた． 女は， たちどころに 腰がまっすぐになり， 神を 贊美した．
- ところが 會堂長は， イエス が 安息日に 病人をいやされたことに 腹を 立て， 群衆に 言った． 「¿くべき 日は 六日ある． その 間に 來て 治してもらうがよい． 安息日はいけない． 」
- しかし， 主は 彼に 答えて 言われた． 「僞善者たちよ， あなたたちはだれでも， 安息日にも 牛やろばを 飼い 葉桶から 解いて， 水を 飮ませに 引いて 行くではないか．

- And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
- And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
- And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
- And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
- The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

- この 女は アブラハム の 娘なのに， 十八年もの 間 サタン に 縛られていたのだ． 安息日であっても， その 束縛から 解いてやるべきではなかったのか． 」
- こう 言われると， 反對者は 皆恥じ 入ったが， 群衆はこぞって， イエス がなさった 數¿のすばらしい 行いを 見て 喜んだ．
- そこで， イエス は 言われた． 「神の 國は 何に 似ているか． 何にたとえようか．
- それは， からし 種に 似ている． 人がこれを 取って 庭に 蒔くと， 成長して 木になり， その 枝には 空の 鳥が 巢を 作る． 」
- また 言われた． 「神の 國を 何にたとえようか．

- And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
- And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
- Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?
- It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
- And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

- パン 種に 似ている． 女がこれを 取って 三 サトン の 粉に 混ぜると， やがて 全體が 膨れる． 」
|
- It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
