- 時刻になったので， イエス は 食事の 席に 着かれたが， 使徒たちも 一緖だった．
- イエス は 言われた． 「苦しみを 受ける 前に， あなたがたと 共にこの 過越の 食事をしたいと， わたしは 切に 願っていた．
- 言っておくが， 神の 國で 過越が 成し 遂げられるまで， わたしは 決してこの 過越の 食事をとることはない． 」
- そして， イエス は 杯を 取り 上げ， 感謝の 祈りを 唱えてから 言われた． 「これを 取り， 互いに 回して 飮みなさい．
- 言っておくが， 神の 國が 來るまで， わたしは 今後ぶどうの 實から 作ったものを 飮むことは 決してあるまい． 」

- And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
- And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
- For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
- And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
- For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

- それから， イエス は パン を 取り， 感謝の 祈りを 唱えて， それを 裂き， 使徒たちに 與えて 言われた． 「これは， あなたがたのために 與えられるわたしの 體である． わたしの 記念としてこのように 行いなさい． 」
- 食事を 終えてから， 杯も 同じようにして 言われた． 「この 杯は， あなたがたのために 流される， わたしの 血による 新しい 契約である．
- しかし， 見よ， わたしを 裏切る 者が， わたしと 一緖に 手を 食卓に 置いている．
- 人の 子は， 定められたとおり 去って 行く． だが， 人の 子を 裏切るその 者は 不幸だ． 」
- そこで 使徒たちは， 自分たちのうち， いったいだれが， そんなことをしようとしているのかと 互いに 議論をし 始めた．

- And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
- Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
- But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
- And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
- And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

- また， 使徒たちの 間に， 自分たちのうちでだれがいちばん 偉いだろうか， という 議論も 起こった．
- そこで， イエス は 言われた． 「異邦人の 間では， 王が 民を 支配し， 民の 上に 權力を 振るう 者が 守護者と 呼ばれている．
- しかし， あなたがたはそれではいけない． あなたがたの 中でいちばん 偉い 人は， いちばん 若い 者のようになり， 上に 立つ 人は， 仕える 者のようになりなさい．
- 食事の 席に 着く 人と 給仕する 者とは， どちらが 偉いか． 食事の 席に 着く 人ではないか． しかし， わたしはあなたがたの 中で， いわば 給仕する 者である．
- あなたがたは， わたしが 種¿の 試練に 遭ったとき， 絶えずわたしと 一緖に 踏みとどまってくれた．

- And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
- And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
- But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
- For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
- Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

- だから， わたしの 父がわたしに 支配權をゆだねてくださったように， わたしもあなたがたにそれをゆだねる．
- あなたがたは， わたしの 國でわたしの 食事の 席に 着いて 飮み 食いを 共にし， 王座に 座って イスラエル の 十二部族を 治めることになる． 」
- 「シモン ， シモン ， サタン はあなたがたを， 小麥のようにふるいにかけることを 神に 願って 聞き 入れられた．
- しかし， わたしはあなたのために， 信仰が 無くならないように 祈った． だから， あなたは 立ち 直ったら， 兄弟たちを 力づけてやりなさい． 」
- すると シモン は， 「主よ， 御一緖になら， 牢に 入っても 死んでもよいと 覺悟しております 」と 言った．

- And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
- That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
- And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
- But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
- And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

- イエス は 言われた． 「ペトロ ， 言っておくが， あなたは 今日， 鷄が 鳴くまでに， 三度わたしを 知らないと 言うだろう． 」

- And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
