- 五旬祭の 日が 來て， 一同が 一つになって 集まっていると，
- 突然， 激しい 風が 吹いて 來るような 音が 天から 聞こえ， 彼らが 座っていた 家中に 響いた．
- そして， 炎のような 舌が 分かれ 分かれに 現れ， 一人一人の 上にとどまった．
- すると， 一同は 聖靈に 滿たされ， “靈 ＂が 語らせるままに， ほかの 國¿の 言葉で 話しだした．
- さて， エルサレム には 天下のあらゆる 國から 歸って 來た， 信心深い ユダヤ 人が 住んでいたが，

- And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
- And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
- And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
- And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
- And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

- この 物音に 大勢の 人が 集まって 來た． そして， だれもかれも， 自分の 故鄕の 言葉が 話されているのを 聞いて， あっけにとられてしまった．
- 人¿は 驚き 怪しんで 言った． 「話をしているこの 人たちは， 皆 ガリラヤ の 人ではないか．
- どうしてわたしたちは， めいめいが 生まれた 故鄕の 言葉を 聞くのだろうか．
- わたしたちの 中には， パルティア ， メディア ， エラム からの 者がおり， また， メソポタミア ， ユダヤ ， カパドキア ， ポントス ， アジア ，
- フリギア ， パンフィリア ， エジプト ， キレネ に 接する リビア 地方などに 住む 者もいる． また， ロ ― マ から 來て 滯在中の 者，

- Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
- And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
- And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
- Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
- Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

- ユダヤ 人もいれば， ユダヤ 敎への 改宗者もおり， クレタ ， アラビア から 來た 者もいるのに， 彼らがわたしたちの 言葉で 神の 偉大な 業を 語っているのを 聞こうとは． 」
- 人¿は 皆驚き， とまどい， 「いったい， これはどういうことなのか 」と 互いに 言った．
- しかし， 「あの 人たちは， 新しいぶどう 酒に 醉っているのだ 」と 言って， あざける 者もいた．
- すると， ペトロ は 十一人と 共に 立って， 聲を 張り 上げ， 話し 始めた． 「ユダヤ の 方¿， また エルサレム に 住むすべての 人たち， 知っていただきたいことがあります． わたしの 言葉に 耳を 傾けてください．
- 今は 朝の 九時ですから， この 人たちは， あなたがたが 考えているように， 酒に 醉っているのではありません．

- Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
- And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
- Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
- But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
- For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

- そうではなく， これこそ 預言者 ヨエル を 通して 言われていたことなのです．
- 『神は 言われる． 終わりの 時に， ／わたしの 靈をすべての 人に 注ぐ． すると， あなたたちの 息子と 娘は 預言し， ／若者は 幻を 見， 老人は 夢を 見る．
- わたしの 僕やはしためにも， ／そのときには， わたしの 靈を 注ぐ． すると， 彼らは 預言する．
- 上では， 天に 不思議な 業を， ／下では， 地に 徵を 示そう． 血と 火と 立ちこめる 煙が， それだ．
- 主の 偉大な 輝かしい 日が 來る 前に， ／太陽は 暗くなり， ／月は 血のように 赤くなる．

- But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
- And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
- And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
- And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
- The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

- 主の 名を 呼び 求める 者は 皆， 救われる． 』
- イスラエル の 人たち， これから 話すことを 聞いてください． ナザレ の 人 イエス こそ， 神から 遣わされた 方です． 神は， イエス を 通してあなたがたの 間で 行われた 奇跡と， 不思議な 業と， しるしとによって， そのことをあなたがたに 證明なさいました． あなたがた 自身が 旣に 知っているとおりです．
- この イエス を 神は， お 定めになった 計畵により， あらかじめご 存じのうえで， あなたがたに 引き 渡されたのですが， あなたがたは 律法を 知らない 者たちの 手を 借りて， 十字架につけて 殺してしまったのです．
- しかし， 神はこの イエス を 死の 苦しみから 解放して， 復活させられました． イエス が 死に 支配されたままでおられるなどということは， ありえなかったからです．
- ダビデ は， イエス についてこう 言っています． 『わたしは， いつも 目の 前に 主を 見ていた． 主がわたしの 右におられるので， ／わたしは 決して 動¿しない．

- And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
- Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
- Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
- For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

- だから， わたしの 心は 樂しみ， ／舌は 喜びたたえる． 體も 希望のうちに 生きるであろう．
- あなたは， わたしの 魂を 陰府に 捨てておかず， ／あなたの 聖なる 者を ／朽ち 果てるままにしておかれない．
- あなたは， 命に 至る 道をわたしに 示し， ／御前にいるわたしを 喜びで 滿たしてくださる． 』
- 兄弟たち， 先祖 ダビデ については， 彼は 死んで 葬られ， その 墓は 今でもわたしたちのところにあると， はっきり 言えます．
- ダビデ は 預言者だったので， 彼から 生まれる 子孫の 一人をその 王座に 着かせると， 神がはっきり 誓ってくださったことを 知っていました．

- Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
- Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
- Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
- Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
- Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

- そして， キリスト の 復活について 前もって 知り， ／『彼は 陰府に 捨てておかれず， ／その 體は 朽ち 果てることがない 』／と 語りました．
- 神はこの イエス を 復活させられたのです． わたしたちは 皆， そのことの 證人です．
- それで， イエス は 神の 右に 上げられ， 約束された 聖靈を 御父から 受けて 注いでくださいました． あなたがたは， 今このことを 見聞きしているのです．
- ダビデ は 天に 昇りませんでしたが， 彼自身こう 言っています． 『主は， わたしの 主にお 告げになった． 「わたしの 右の 座に 着け．
- わたしがあなたの 敵を ／あなたの 足台とするときまで． 」』

- He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
- This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
- Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
- For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
- Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

- だから， イスラエル の 全家は， はっきり 知らなくてはなりません． あなたがたが 十字架につけて 殺した イエス を， 神は 主とし， また メシア となさったのです． 」
|
- Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
