- 不義によって 眞理の ¿きを 妨げる 人間のあらゆる 不信心と 不義に 對して， 神は 天から 怒りを 現されます．
- なぜなら， 神について 知りうる 事柄は， 彼らにも 明らかだからです． 神がそれを 示されたのです．
- 世界が 造られたときから， 目に 見えない 神の 性質， つまり 神の 永遠の 力と 神性は 被造物に 現れており， これを 通して 神を 知ることができます． 從って， 彼らには 弁解の 余地がありません．
- なぜなら， 神を 知りながら， 神としてあがめることも 感謝することもせず， かえって， むなしい 思いにふけり， 心が 鈍く 暗くなったからです．
- 自分では 知惠があると 吹聽しながら 愚かになり，

- For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
- Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
- For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
- Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
- Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

- 滅びることのない 神の 榮光を， 滅び 去る 人間や 鳥や ¿や 這うものなどに 似せた 像と 取り 替えたのです．
- そこで 神は， 彼らが 心の 欲望によって 不潔なことをするにまかせられ， そのため， 彼らは 互いにその 體を 辱めました．
- 神の 眞理を 僞りに 替え， 造り 主の 代わりに 造られた 物を 拜んでこれに 仕えたのです． 造り 主こそ， 永遠にほめたたえられるべき 方です， ア ― メン ．
- それで， 神は 彼らを 恥ずべき 情欲にまかせられました． 女は 自然の 關係を 自然にもとるものに 變え，
- 同じく 男も， 女との 自然の 關係を 捨てて， 互いに 情欲を 燃やし， 男どうしで 恥ずべきことを 行い， その 迷った 行いの 當然の 報いを 身に 受けています．

- And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
- Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
- Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
- For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
- And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

- 彼らは 神を 認めようとしなかったので， 神は 彼らを 無價値な 思いに 渡され， そのため， 彼らはしてはならないことをするようになりました．
- あらゆる 不義， 惡， むさぼり， 惡意に 滿ち， ねたみ， 殺意， 不和， 欺き， 邪念にあふれ， 陰口を 言い，
- 人をそしり， 神を 憎み， 人を 侮り， 高慢であり， 大言を 吐き， 惡事をたくらみ， 親に 逆らい，
- 無知， 不誠實， 無情， 無慈悲です．
- 彼らは， このようなことを 行う 者が 死に 値するという 神の 定めを 知っていながら， 自分でそれを 行うだけではなく， 他人の 同じ 行爲をも 是認しています．

- And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
- Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
- Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
- Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
- Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
