로마서 3:9-3:31

 바울은 모든 인간은 하나님 앞에 죄인임을 밝히면서, 죄인된 인간이 구원받을 수 있는 길은 오직 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음뿐이라고 강조하였다.
  
  전인류의 죄(3:9-3:18)    
 
  1. では， どうなのか． わたしたちには 優れた 点があるのでしょうか． 全くありません． 旣に 指摘したように， ユダヤ 人も ギリシア 人も 皆， 罪の 下にあるのです．
  2. 次のように 書いてあるとおりです． 「正しい 者はいない． 一人もいない．
  3. 悟る 者もなく， ／神を 探し 求める 者もいない．
  4. 皆迷い， だれもかれも 役に 立たない 者となった． 善を 行う 者はいない． ただの 一人もいない．
  5. 彼らののどは 開いた 墓のようであり， ／彼らは 舌で 人を 欺き， ／その 唇には ·の 毒がある．
  1. What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
  2. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
  3. There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
  4. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
  5. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
  1. 口は， 呪いと 苦味で 滿ち，
  2. 足は 血を 流すのに 速く，
  3. その 道には 破壞と 悲慘がある．
  4. 彼らは 平和の 道を 知らない．
  5. 彼らの 目には 神への 畏れがない． 」
  1. Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
  2. Their feet are swift to shed blood:
  3. Destruction and misery are in their ways:
  4. And the way of peace have they not known:
  5. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
 
  믿음으로 의롭게 됨(3:19-3:31)    
 
  1. さて， わたしたちが 知っているように， すべて 律法の 言うところは， 律法の 下にいる 人¿に 向けられています． それは， すべての 人の 口がふさがれて， 全世界が 神の 裁きに 服するようになるためなのです．
  2. なぜなら， 律法を 實行することによっては， だれ 一人神の 前で 義とされないからです． 律法によっては， 罪の 自覺しか 生じないのです．
  3. ところが 今や， 律法とは 關係なく， しかも 律法と 預言者によって 立證されて， 神の 義が 示されました．
  4. すなわち， イエス · キリスト を 信じることにより， 信じる 者すべてに 與えられる 神の 義です． そこには 何の 差別もありません．
  5. 人は 皆， 罪を 犯して 神の 榮光を 受けられなくなっていますが，
  1. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
  2. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
  3. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
  4. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
  5. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
  1. ただ キリスト · イエス による ·いの 業を 通して， 神の 惠みにより 無償で 義とされるのです．
  2. 神はこの キリスト を 立て， その 血によって 信じる 者のために 罪を 償う 供え 物となさいました． それは， 今まで 人が 犯した 罪を 見逃して， 神の 義をお 示しになるためです．
  3. このように 神は 忍耐してこられたが， 今この 時に 義を 示されたのは， 御自分が 正しい 方であることを 明らかにし， イエス を 信じる 者を 義となさるためです．
  4. では， 人の 誇りはどこにあるのか． それは 取り 除かれました． どんな 法則によってか． 行いの 法則によるのか． そうではない． 信仰の 法則によってです．
  5. なぜなら， わたしたちは， 人が 義とされるのは 律法の 行いによるのではなく， 信仰によると 考えるからです．
  1. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
  2. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
  3. To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
  4. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
  5. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
  1. それとも， 神は ユダヤ 人だけの 神でしょうか． 異邦人の 神でもないのですか． そうです． 異邦人の 神でもあります．
  2. 實に， 神は 唯一だからです． この 神は， 割禮のある 者を 信仰のゆえに 義とし， 割禮のない 者をも 信仰によって 義としてくださるのです．
  3. それでは， わたしたちは 信仰によって， 律法を 無にするのか． 決してそうではない． むしろ， 律法を 確立するのです．
  1. Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
  2. Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
  3. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
