- こういうわけで， 兄弟たち， 神の 憐れみによってあなたがたに 勸めます． 自分の 體を 神に 喜ばれる 聖なる 生けるいけにえとして 獻げなさい． これこそ， あなたがたのなすべき 禮拜です．
- あなたがたはこの 世に 倣ってはなりません． むしろ， 心を 新たにして 自分を 變えていただき， 何が 神の 御心であるか， 何が 善いことで， 神に 喜ばれ， また 完全なことであるかをわきまえるようになりなさい．
- わたしに 與えられた 惠みによって， あなたがた 一人一人に 言います． 自分を 過大に 評價してはなりません． むしろ， 神が 各自に 分け 與えてくださった 信仰の 度合いに 應じて 愼み 深く 評價すべきです．
- というのは， わたしたちの 一つの 體は 多くの 部分から 成り 立っていても， すべての 部分が 同じ ¿きをしていないように，
- わたしたちも 數は 多いが， キリスト に 結ばれて 一つの 體を 形づくっており， 各自は 互いに 部分なのです．

- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
- For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
- So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

- わたしたちは， 與えられた 惠みによって， それぞれ 異なった 賜物を 持っていますから， 預言の 賜物を 受けていれば， 信仰に 應じて 預言し，
- 奉仕の 賜物を 受けていれば， 奉仕に 專念しなさい． また， 敎える 人は 敎えに，
- 勸める 人は 勸めに 精を 出しなさい． 施しをする 人は 惜しまず 施し， 指導する 人は 熱心に 指導し， 慈善を 行う 人は 快く 行いなさい．
- 愛には 僞りがあってはなりません． 惡を 憎み， 善から 離れず，
- 兄弟愛をもって 互いに 愛し， 尊敬をもって 互いに 相手を 優れた 者と 思いなさい．

- Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
- Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
- Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

- 怠らず 勵み， 靈に 燃えて， 主に 仕えなさい．
- 希望をもって 喜び， 苦難を 耐え 忍び， たゆまず 祈りなさい．
- 聖なる 者たちの 貧しさを 自分のものとして 彼らを 助け， 旅人をもてなすよう 努めなさい．
- あなたがたを 迫害する 者のために 祝福を 祈りなさい． 祝福を 祈るのであって， 呪ってはなりません．
- 喜ぶ 人と 共に 喜び， 泣く 人と 共に 泣きなさい．

- Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
- Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
- Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
- Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
- Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

- 互いに 思いを 一つにし， 高ぶらず， 身分の 低い 人¿と 交わりなさい． 自分を 賢い 者とうぬぼれてはなりません．
- だれに 對しても 惡に 惡を 返さず， すべての 人の 前で 善を 行うように 心がけなさい．
- できれば， せめてあなたがたは， すべての 人と 平和に 暮らしなさい．
- 愛する 人たち， 自分で 復讐せず， 神の 怒りに 任せなさい． 「『復讐はわたしのすること， わたしが 報復する 』と 主は 言われる 」と 書いてあります．
- 「あなたの 敵が 飢えていたら 食べさせ， 渴いていたら 飮ませよ． そうすれば， 燃える 炭火を 彼の 頭に 積むことになる． 」

- Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
- Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
- If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
- Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
- Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

- 惡に 負けることなく， 善をもって 惡に 勝ちなさい．
|
- Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
