로마서 14:1-14:23

 바울은 강한 믿음을 가진 자의 자유한 행동이 연약한 자들을 실족케 할 수 있으므로 성도들은 먼저 자유를 누리기에 앞서 연약한 자들을 사랑으로 돌아보아야 함을 강조하였다. 또한 연약한 자들도 편협한 안목으로 자유를 비방하지 말고, 서로 덕을 세우는 차원에서 해결할 것을 권면하였다.
  
  비판 금지(14:1-14:12)    
 
  1. 信仰の 弱い 人を 受け 入れなさい． その 考えを 批判してはなりません．
  2. 何を 食べてもよいと 信じている 人もいますが， 弱い 人は 野菜だけを 食べているのです．
  3. 食べる 人は， 食べない 人を 輕蔑してはならないし， また， 食べない 人は， 食べる 人を 裁いてはなりません． 神はこのような 人をも 受け 入れられたからです．
  4. 他人の 召し 使いを 裁くとは， いったいあなたは 何者ですか． 召し 使いが 立つのも 倒れるのも， その 主人によるのです． しかし， 召し 使いは 立ちます． 主は， その 人を 立たせることがおできになるからです．
  5. ある 日を 他の 日よりも 尊ぶ 人もいれば， すべての 日を 同じように 考える 人もいます． それは， 各自が 自分の 心の 確信に 基づいて 決めるべきことです．
  1. Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
  2. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
  3. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
  4. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
  5. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
  1. 特定の 日を 重んじる 人は 主のために 重んじる． 食べる 人は 主のために 食べる． 神に 感謝しているからです． また， 食べない 人も， 主のために 食べない． そして， 神に 感謝しているのです．
  2. わたしたちの 中には， だれ 一人自分のために 生きる 人はなく， だれ 一人自分のために 死ぬ 人もいません．
  3. わたしたちは， 生きるとすれば 主のために 生き， 死ぬとすれば 主のために 死ぬのです． 從って， 生きるにしても， 死ぬにしても， わたしたちは 主のものです．
  4. キリスト が 死に， そして 生きたのは， 死んだ 人にも 生きている 人にも 主となられるためです．
  5. それなのに， なぜあなたは， 自分の 兄弟を 裁くのですか． また， なぜ 兄弟を 侮るのですか． わたしたちは 皆， 神の 裁きの 座の 前に 立つのです．
  1. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
  2. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
  3. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
  4. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
  5. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
  1. こう 書いてあります． 「主は 言われる． 『わたしは 生きている． すべてのひざはわたしの 前にかがみ， ／すべての 舌が 神をほめたたえる 』と． 」
  2. それで， わたしたちは 一人一人， 自分のことについて 神に 申し 述べることになるのです．
  1. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
  2. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
 
  덕을 세움(14:13-14:23)    
 
  1. 從って， もう 互いに 裁き 合わないようにしよう． むしろ， つまずきとなるものや， 妨げとなるものを， 兄弟の 前に 置かないように 決心しなさい．
  2. それ 自體で 汚れたものは 何もないと， わたしは 主 イエス によって 知り， そして 確信しています． 汚れたものだと 思うならば， それは， その 人にだけ 汚れたものです．
  3. あなたの 食べ 物について 兄弟が 心を 痛めるならば， あなたはもはや 愛に 從って 步んでいません． 食べ 物のことで 兄弟を 滅ぼしてはなりません． キリスト はその 兄弟のために 死んでくださったのです．
  4. ですから， あなたがたにとって 善いことがそしりの 種にならないようにしなさい．
  5. 神の 國は， 飮み 食いではなく， 聖靈によって 與えられる 義と 平和と 喜びなのです．
  1. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
  2. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
  3. But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
  4. Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
  5. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  1. このようにして キリスト に 仕える 人は， 神に 喜ばれ， 人¿に 信賴されます．
  2. だから， 平和や 互いの 向上に 役立つことを 追い 求めようではありませんか．
  3. 食べ 物のために 神の ¿きを 無にしてはなりません． すべては 淸いのですが， 食べて 人を 罪に 誘う 者には 惡い 物となります．
  4. 肉も 食べなければぶどう 酒も 飮まず， そのほか 兄弟を 罪に 誘うようなことをしないのが 望ましい．
  5. あなたは 自分が 抱いている 確信を， 神の 御前で 心の 內に 持っていなさい． 自分の 決心にやましさを 感じない 人は 幸いです．
  1. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
  2. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
  3. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
  4. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
  5. Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
  1. 疑いながら 食べる 人は， 確信に 基づいて 行動していないので， 罪に 定められます． 確信に 基づいていないことは， すべて 罪なのです．
  1. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
