- わたしたち 强い 者は， 强くない 者の 弱さを 擔うべきであり， 自分の 滿足を 求めるべきではありません．
- おのおの 善を 行って 隣人を 喜ばせ， 互いの 向上に 努めるべきです．
- キリスト も 御自分の 滿足はお 求めになりませんでした． 「あなたをそしる 者のそしりが， わたしにふりかかった 」と 書いてあるとおりです．
- かつて 書かれた 事柄は， すべてわたしたちを 敎え 導くためのものです． それでわたしたちは， 聖書から 忍耐と 慰めを 學んで 希望を 持ち 續けることができるのです．
- 忍耐と 慰めの 源である 神が， あなたがたに， キリスト · イエス に 倣って 互いに 同じ 思いを 抱かせ，

- We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
- Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
- For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
- Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

- 心を 合わせ 聲をそろえて， わたしたちの 主 イエス · キリスト の 神であり， 父である 方をたたえさせてくださいますように．
- だから， 神の 榮光のために キリスト があなたがたを 受け 入れてくださったように， あなたがたも 互いに 相手を 受け 入れなさい．
- わたしは 言う． キリスト は 神の 眞實を 現すために， 割禮ある 者たちに 仕える 者となられたのです． それは， 先祖たちに 對する 約束を 確證されるためであり，
- 異邦人が 神をその 憐れみのゆえにたたえるようになるためです． 「そのため， わたしは 異邦人の 中であなたをたたえ， ／あなたの 名をほめ 歌おう 」と 書いてあるとおりです．
- また， ／「異邦人よ， 主の 民と 共に 喜べ 」と 言われ，

- That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
- And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
- And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

- 更に， ／「すべての 異邦人よ， 主をたたえよ． すべての 民は 主を 贊美せよ 」と 言われています．
- また， イザヤ はこう 言っています． 「エッサイ の 根から 芽が 現れ， ／異邦人を 治めるために 立ち 上がる． 異邦人は 彼に 望みをかける． 」
- 希望の 源である 神が， 信仰によって 得られるあらゆる 喜びと 平和とであなたがたを 滿たし， 聖靈の 力によって 希望に 滿ちあふれさせてくださるように．
- 兄弟たち， あなたがた 自身は 善意に 滿ち， あらゆる 知識で 滿たされ， 互いに 戒め 合うことができると， このわたしは 確信しています．
- 記憶を 新たにしてもらおうと， この 手紙ではところどころかなり 思い 切って 書きました． それは， わたしが 神から 惠みをいただいて，

- And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
- And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
- Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
- And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
- Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

- 異邦人のために キリスト · イエス に 仕える 者となり， 神の 福音のために 祭司の 役を 務めているからです． そしてそれは， 異邦人が， 聖靈によって 聖なるものとされた， 神に 喜ばれる 供え 物となるためにほかなりません．
- そこでわたしは， 神のために ¿くことを キリスト · イエス によって 誇りに 思っています．
- キリスト がわたしを 通して ¿かれたこと 以外は， あえて 何も 申しません． キリスト は 異邦人を 神に 從わせるために， わたしの 言葉と 行いを 通して，
- また， しるしや 奇跡の 力， 神の 靈の 力によって ¿かれました． こうしてわたしは， エルサレム から イリリコン 州まで 巡って， キリスト の 福音をあまねく 宣べ 傳えました．
- このように キリスト の 名がまだ 知られていない 所で 福音を 告げ 知らせようと， わたしは 熱心に 努めてきました． それは， 他人の 築いた 土台の 上に 建てたりしないためです．

- That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
- I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
- For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
- Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
- Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

- But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.
