욥기 16:1-19:29

 욥은 친구들을 ‘번뇌케 하는 위로자’라고 고백하였으며, 하나님께 눈물의 기도를 드리면서 자신의 결백함을 보증해 줄 보증물을 달라고 요청하였다. 빌닷은 친구들을 원망하는 욥을 책망하며 욥을 악인에 비유하여 그에게 닥칠 외적인 재앙을 장황하게 묘사하였다. 그러자 욥은 자신에게 닥친 고난은 하나님의 주권적 의사로 말미암았으며, 이제 근거 없는 비방은 그만 두고 긍휼한 마음을 가져 줄 것과 끝까지 비방하면 하나님의 심판을 피하지 못할 것이라고 하였다. 그리고 죽은 후에 하나님 보기를 사모하였다.
  
  욥의 변증(16:1-17:16)    
 
  1. ヨブ は 答えた．
  2. そんなことを 聞くのはもうたくさんだ． あなたたちは 皆， 慰める 振りをして 苦しめる．
  3. 「無馱口はやめよ 」とか ／「何にいらだって ／そんな 答えをするのか 」と 言う．
  4. わたしがあなたたちの 立場にあったなら ／そのようなことを 言っただろうか． あなたたちに 對して 多くの 言葉を 連ね ／あなたたちに 向かって 頭を 振り
  5. 口先で 勵まし ／唇を 動かすことをやめなかっただろうか．
  1. Then Job answered and said,
  2. I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all.
  3. Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?
  4. I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you.
  5. But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.
  1. 語っても 苦しみはやまず ／默っていても， それは 去りません．
  2. もう， わたしは 疲れ 果てました． わたしの 一族をあなたは 壓倒し
  3. わたしを 絞り 上げられます． このわたしの 姿が 證人となり ／わたしに 代わって 抗議するでしょう．
  4. 神がわたしを 餌食として， 怒りを 表されたので ／敵はわたしを 憎んで 牙をむき， 銳い 目を 向ける．
  5. 彼らは 大口を 開けて 嘲笑い ／頰を 打って 侮辱し ／一團となってわたしに 向かって 來る．
  1. Though I speak, my grief is not asswaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?
  2. But now he hath made me weary: thou hast made desolate all my company.
  3. And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
  4. He teareth me in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; mine enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
  5. They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together against me.
  1. 神は 惡を 行う 者にわたしを 引き 渡し ／神に 逆らう 者の 手に 任せられた．
  2. 平穩に 暮らしていたわたしを 神は 打ち ¿き ／首を 押さえて 打ち 据え ／的として 立て
  3. 弓を 射る 者に 包圍させられた． 彼らは 容赦なく， わたしのはらわたを 射拔き ／膽汁は 地に 流れ 出た．
  4. 神は 戰士のように 挑みかかり ／わたしを 打ち 破り， なお 打ち 破る．
  5. わたしは 粗布を 肌に 縫い 付け ／わたしの 角と 共に 塵の 中に 倒れ 伏した．
  1. God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.
  2. I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
  3. His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.
  4. He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.
  5. I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.
  1. 泣きはらした 顔は 赤く ／死の 闇がまぶたのくまどりとなった．
  2. わたしの 手には 不法もなく ／わたしの 祈りは 淸かったのに．
  3. 大地よ， わたしの 血を 覆うな ／わたしの 叫びを 閉じ ¿めるな．
  4. このような 時にも， 見よ ／天にはわたしのために 證人があり ／高い 天には ／わたしを 弁護してくださる 方がある．
  5. わたしのために 執り 成す 方， わたしの 友 ／神を 仰いでわたしの 目は 淚を 流す．
  1. My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;
  2. Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.
  3. O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.
  4. Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.
  5. My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.
  1. 人とその 友の 間を 裁くように ／神が 御自分とこの 男の 間を 裁いてくださるように．
  2. 僅かな 年月がたてば ／わたしは 歸らぬ 旅路に 就くのだから．
  1. O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbour!
  2. When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.
 
 
  1. 息は 絶え， 人生の 日は 盡きる． わたしには 墓があるばかり．
  2. 人¿はなお， わたしを 嘲り ／わたしの 目は 夜通し 彼らの 敵意を 見ている．
  3. あなた 自ら 保證人となってください． ほかの 誰が ／わたしの 味方をしてくれましょう．
  4. 彼らの 心を 覆って 目覺めることのないようにし ／彼らを 高く 上げないでください．
  5. 「利益のために 友を 裏切れば ／子孫の 目がつぶれる． 」
  1. My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.
  2. Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?
  3. Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me?
  4. For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them.
  5. He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
  1. この 格言はわたしのことだと 人は 言う． わたしは 顔につばきされる 者．
  2. 目は 苦惱にかすみ ／手足はどれも 影のようだ．
  3. 正しい 人よ， これに 驚け． 罪のない 人よ ／神を 無視する 者に 對して 奮い 立て．
  4. 神に 從う 人はその 道を 守り ／手の 淸い 人は 更に 勇氣をもて．
  5. あなたたちは 皆， 再び 集まって 來るがよい． あなたたちの 中に 知惠ある 者はいないのか．
  1. He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.
  2. Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.
  3. Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
  4. The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
  5. But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.
  1. わたしの 人生は 過ぎ 去り ／わたしの 計畵も 心の 願いも 失われた．
  2. 夜は ¿となり ／暗黑の 後に 光が 近づくと 人は 言うが
  3. わたしは 陰府に 自分のための 家を 求め ／その 暗黑に 寢床を 整えた．
  4. 墓穴に 向かって「あなたはわたしの 父 」と 言い ／·蟲に 向かって「わたしの 母， 姉妹 」と 言う．
  5. どこになお， わたしの 希望があるのか． 誰がわたしに 希望を 見せてくれるのか．
  1. My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.
  2. They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.
  3. If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.
  4. I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my sister.
  5. And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?
  1. それはことごとく 陰府に 落ちた． すべては 塵の 上に 橫たわっている．
  1. They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.
 
  빌닷의 두번째 충고(18:1-18:21)    
 
  1. シュア 人 ビルダド は 答えた．
  2. いつまで 言葉の ┼の 掛け 合いをしているのか． まず 理解せよ， それから 話し 合おうではないか．
  3. なぜ， わたしたちを ¿のように 見なすのか． その 目に 愚か 者とするのか．
  4. 怒りによって 自らを 引き 裂く 者よ ／あなたのために 地が 見捨てられ ／岩がその 場所から 移されるだろうか．
  5. 神に 逆らう 者の 燈はやがて 消え ／その 火の 炎はもはや 輝かず
  1. Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
  2. How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
  3. Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
  4. He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
  5. Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
  1. その 天幕の 燈は 暗黑となり ／彼を 照らす 光は 消える．
  2. 彼の 力强い 步みも 弱まり ／自分自身の 策略に 倒れる．
  3. 足は 網に 捕えられ ／落とし 穴に 踏み ¿む．
  4. かかとは ┼にかかり ／仕掛けられた 網に 捕まる．
  5. 綱が 地に 隱されて 張り 巡らされ ／行く 道に 仕掛けが 待ち 伏せている．
  1. The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
  2. The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
  3. For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
  4. The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
  5. The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
  1. 破滅が 四方から 彼を 脅かし ／彼の 足を 追い 立てる．
  2. その 子は 飢え ／妻は 災いに 遭う．
  3. 死の 初子が 彼の 肢體をむしばみ ／その 手足をむしばむ．
  4. 彼はよりどころとする 天幕から 引き 出され ／破滅の 王に 向かって 一步一步引き 寄せられる．
  5. 彼の 天幕には 他人が 住み ／その 住みかには 硫黃がまかれる．
  1. Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
  2. His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
  3. It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
  4. His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
  5. It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
  1. 下ではその 根が 枯れ ／上では 枝がしおれる．
  2. 彼の 思い 出は 地上から 失われ ／その 名はもう 地の 面にはない．
  3. 彼は 光から 暗黑へと 追いやられ ／この 世から 追放される．
  4. 子孫はその 民の 內に 殘らず ／住んだ 所には 何ひとつ 殘らない．
  5. 未來の 人¿は 彼の 運命に 慄然とし ／過去になった 人¿すら ／身の 毛のよだつ 思いをする．
  1. His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
  2. His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
  3. He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
  4. He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
  5. They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
  1. ああ， これが 不正を 行った 者の 住まい ／これが 神を 知らぬ 者のいた 所か， と．
  1. Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
 
  욥의 답변(19:1-19:29)    
 
  1. ヨブ は 答えた．
  2. どこまであなたたちはわたしの 魂を 苦しめ ／言葉をもってわたしを 打ち ¿くのか．
  3. 侮辱はもうこれで 十分だ． わたしを 虐げて 恥ずかしくないのか．
  4. わたしが 過ちを 犯したのが 事實だとしても ／その 過ちはわたし 個人にとどまるのみだ．
  5. ところが， あなたたちは ／わたしの 受けている 辱めを 誇張して ／論難しようとする．
  1. Then Job answered and said,
  2. How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
  3. These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
  4. And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
  5. If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:
  1. それならば， 知れ． 神がわたしに 非道なふるまいをし ／わたしの 周圍に 砦を 巡らしていることを．
  2. だから， 不法だと 叫んでも 答えはなく ／救いを 求めても， 裁いてもらえないのだ．
  3. 神はわたしの 道をふさいで 通らせず ／行く 手に 暗黑を 置かれた．
  4. わたしの 名譽を 奪い ／頭から 冠を 取り 去られた．
  5. 四方から 攻められてわたしは 消え 去る． 木であるかのように ／希望は 根こそぎにされてしまった．
  1. Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.
  2. Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
  3. He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
  4. He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
  5. He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
  1. 神はわたしに 向かって 怒りを 燃やし ／わたしを 敵とされる．
  2. その 軍勢は 結集し ／襲おうとして 道を 開き ／わたしの 天幕を 圍んで 陣を 敷いた．
  3. 神は 兄弟をわたしから 遠ざけ ／知人を 引き 離した．
  4. 親族もわたしを 見捨て ／友だちもわたしを 忘れた．
  5. わたしの 家に 身を 寄せている 男や 女すら ／わたしをよそ 者と 見なし， 敵視する．
  1. He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.
  2. His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
  3. He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
  4. My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
  5. They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
  1. 僕を 呼んでも 答えず ／わたしが 彼に 憐れみを 乞わなければならない．
  2. 息は 妻に 嫌われ ／子供にも 憎まれる．
  3. 幼子もわたしを 拒み ／わたしが 立ち 上がると 背を 向ける．
  4. 親友のすべてに 忌み 嫌われ ／愛していた 人¿にも 背かれてしまった．
  5. 骨は 皮膚と 肉とにすがりつき ／皮膚と 齒ばかりになって ／わたしは 生き 延びている．
  1. I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.
  2. My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children's sake of mine own body.
  3. Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.
  4. All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
  5. My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
  1. 憐れんでくれ， わたしを 憐れんでくれ ／神の 手がわたしに 觸れたのだ． あなたたちはわたしの 友ではないか．
  2. なぜ， あなたたちまで 神と 一緖になって ／わたしを 追い 詰めるのか． 肉を 打つだけでは 足りないのか．
  3. どうか ／わたしの 言葉が 書き 留められるように ／碑文として 刻まれるように．
  4. たがねで 岩に 刻まれ， 鉛で 黑¿と 記され ／いつまでも 殘るように．
  5. わたしは 知っている ／わたしを ·う 方は 生きておられ ／ついには 塵の 上に 立たれるであろう．
  1. Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
  2. Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
  3. Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
  4. That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
  5. For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
  1. この 皮膚が 損なわれようとも ／この 身をもって ／わたしは 神を 仰ぎ 見るであろう．
  2. このわたしが 仰ぎ 見る ／ほかならぬこの 目で 見る． 腹の 底から 焦がれ， はらわたは 絶え 入る．
  3. 「我¿が 彼を 追い 詰めたりするだろうか 」と ／あなたたちは 言う． この 有樣の 根源がわたし 自身にあると ／あなたたちは 言う．
  4. あなたたちこそ， 劍を 危¿せよ． 劍による 罰は 嚴しい． 裁きのあることを 知るがよい．
  1. And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
  2. Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
  3. But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
  4. Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
