- こういうわけで， わたしたちは， 憐れみを 受けた 者としてこの 務めをゆだねられているのですから， 落膽しません．
- かえって， 卑劣な 隱れた 行いを 捨て， 惡賢く 步まず， 神の 言葉を 曲げず， 眞理を 明らかにすることにより， 神の 御前で 自分自身をすべての 人の 良心にゆだねます．
- わたしたちの 福音に 覆いが 掛かっているとするなら， それは， 滅びの 道をたどる 人¿に 對して 覆われているのです．
- この 世の 神が， 信じようとはしないこの 人¿の 心の 目をくらまし， 神の 似姿である キリスト の 榮光に 關する 福音の 光が 見えないようにしたのです．
- わたしたちは， 自分自身を 宣べ 傳えるのではなく， 主である イエス · キリスト を 宣べ 傳えています． わたしたち 自身は， イエス のためにあなたがたに 仕える 僕なのです．

- Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
- But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
- But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
- In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
- For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

- 「闇から 光が 輝き 出よ 」と 命じられた 神は， わたしたちの 心の 內に 輝いて， イエス · キリスト の 御顔に 輝く 神の 榮光を 悟る 光を 與えてくださいました．
- ところで， わたしたちは， このような 寶を 土の 器に 納めています． この ¿外れて 偉大な 力が 神のものであって， わたしたちから 出たものでないことが 明らかになるために．
- わたしたちは， 四方から 苦しめられても 行き 詰まらず， 途方に 暮れても 失望せず，
- 虐げられても 見捨てられず， 打ち 倒されても 滅ぼされない．
- わたしたちは， いつも イエス の 死を 體にまとっています， イエス の 命がこの 體に 現れるために．

- For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
- But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
- We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
- Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
- Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

- わたしたちは 生きている 間， 絶えず イエス のために 死にさらされています， 死ぬはずのこの 身に イエス の 命が 現れるために．
- こうして， わたしたちの 內には 死が ¿き， あなたがたの 內には 命が ¿いていることになります．
- 「わたしは 信じた． それで， わたしは 語った 」と 書いてあるとおり， それと 同じ 信仰の 靈を 持っているので， わたしたちも 信じ， それだからこそ 語ってもいます．
- 主 イエス を 復活させた 神が， イエス と 共にわたしたちをも 復活させ， あなたがたと 一緖に 御前に 立たせてくださると， わたしたちは 知っています．
- すべてこれらのことは， あなたがたのためであり， 多くの 人¿が 豊かに 惠みを 受け， 感謝の 念に 滿ちて 神に 榮光を 歸すようになるためです．

- For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
- So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
- We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
- Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
- For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
