- わたしはあなたに 感謝をささげる． わたしは 恐ろしい 力によって ／驚くべきものに 造り 上げられている． 御業がどんなに 驚くべきものか ／わたしの 魂はよく 知っている．
- 秘められたところでわたしは 造られ ／深い 地の 底で 織りなされた． あなたには， わたしの 骨も 隱されてはいない．
- 胎兒であったわたしをあなたの 目は 見ておられた． わたしの 日¿はあなたの 書にすべて 記されている ／まだその 一日も 造られないうちから．
- あなたの 御計らいは ／わたしにとっていかに 貴いことか． 神よ， いかにそれは 數多いことか．

- For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
- I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
- My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
- Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
- How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

- 數えようとしても， 砂の 粒より 多く ／その 果てを 極めたと 思っても ／わたしはなお， あなたの 中にいる．
- どうか 神よ， 逆らう 者を 打ち 滅ぼしてください． わたしを 離れよ， 流血を 謀る 者．
- たくらみをもって 御名を 唱え ／あなたの 町¿をむなしくしてしまう 者．
- 主よ， あなたを 憎む 者をわたしも 憎み ／あなたに 立ち 向かう 者を 忌むべきものとし
- 激しい 憎しみをもって 彼らを 憎み ／彼らをわたしの 敵とします．

- If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
- Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
- For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
- Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
- I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

- 御覽ください ／わたしの 內に 迷いの 道があるかどうかを． どうか， わたしを ／とこしえの 道に 導いてください．

- Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
- And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
