이사야 6:1-8:22

 예언자의 소명을 받은 이사야는 유다가 바벨론의 포로가 될 때까지 하나님의 심판이 계속될 것을 알았다. 이사야는 근심하는 유다 왕 아하스에게 하나님의 승리가 보장되었으나 그의 불신앙으로 인해 심판이 임할 것이라고 예언하였다. 또한, 유다가 심판을 받은 후에 앗수르는 멸망되고 유다는 구원될 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  이사야의 소명(6:1-6:13)    
 
  1. ウジヤ 王が 死んだ 年のことである． わたしは， 高く 天にある 御座に 主が 座しておられるのを 見た． 衣の ¿は 神殿いっぱいに 廣がっていた．
  2. 上の 方には セラフィム がいて， それぞれ 六つの 翼を 持ち， 二つをもって 顔を 覆い， 二つをもって 足を 覆い， 二つをもって 飛び 交っていた．
  3. 彼らは 互いに 呼び 交わし， 唱えた． 「聖なる， 聖なる， 聖なる 万軍の 主． 主の 榮光は， 地をすべて 覆う． 」
  4. この 呼び 交わす 聲によって， 神殿の 入り 口の 敷居は ¿れ 動き， 神殿は 煙に 滿たされた．
  5. わたしは 言った． 「災いだ． わたしは 滅ぼされる． わたしは 汚れた 唇の 者． 汚れた 唇の 民の 中に 住む 者． しかも， わたしの 目は ／王なる 万軍の 主を 仰ぎ 見た． 」
  1. In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
  2. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
  3. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
  4. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
  5. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
  1. すると セラフィム のひとりが， わたしのところに 飛んで 來た． その 手には 祭壇から 火員で 取った 炭火があった．
  2. 彼はわたしの 口に 火を 觸れさせて 言った． 「見よ， これがあなたの 唇に 觸れたので ／あなたの 咎は 取り 去られ， 罪は 赦された． 」
  3. そのとき， わたしは 主の 御聲を 聞いた． 「誰を 遣わすべきか． 誰が 我¿に 代わって 行くだろうか． 」わたしは 言った． 「わたしがここにおります． わたしを 遣わしてください． 」
  4. 主は 言われた． 「行け， この 民に 言うがよい ／よく 聞け， しかし 理解するな ／よく 見よ， しかし 悟るな， と．
  5. この 民の 心をかたくなにし ／耳を 鈍く， 目を 暗くせよ． 目で 見ることなく， 耳で 聞くことなく ／その 心で 理解することなく ／悔い 改めていやされることのないために． 」
  1. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
  2. And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
  3. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
  4. And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
  5. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
  1. わたしは 言った． 「主よ， いつまででしょうか． 」主は 答えられた． 「町¿が 崩れ 去って， 住む 者もなく ／家¿には 人影もなく ／大地が 荒廢して 崩れ 去るときまで． 」
  2. 主は 人を 遠くへ 移される． 國の 中央にすら 見捨てられたところが 多くなる．
  3. なお， そこに 十分の 一が 殘るが ／それも 燒き 盡くされる． 切り 倒された テレビン の 木， ¿の 木のように． しかし， それでも 切り 株が 殘る． その 切り 株とは 聖なる 種子である．
  1. Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
  2. And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
  3. But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
 
  임마누엘의 징표(7:1-7:25)    
 
  1. ユダ の 王 ウジヤ の 孫であり， ヨタム の 子である アハズ の 治世のことである． アラム の 王 レツィン と レマルヤ の 子， イスラエル の 王 ペカ が， エルサレム を 攻めるため 上って 來たが， 攻擊を 仕掛けることはできなかった．
  2. しかし， アラム が エフライム と 同盟したという 知らせは， ダビデ の 家に 傳えられ， 王の 心も 民の 心も， 森の 木¿が 風に ¿れ 動くように 動¿した．
  3. 主は イザヤ に 言われた． 「あなたは 息子の シェアル · ヤシュブ と 共に 出て 行って， 布さらしの 野に 至る 大通りに 沿う， 上貯水池からの 水路の 外れで アハズ に 會い，
  4. 彼に 言いなさい． 落ち 着いて， 靜かにしていなさい． 恐れることはない． アラム を 率いる レツィン と レマルヤ の 子が 激しても， この 二つの 燃え 殘ってくすぶる 切り 株のゆえに 心を 弱くしてはならない．
  5. アラム が エフライム と レマルヤ の 子を 語らって， あなたに 對して 災いを 謀り，
  1. And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
  2. And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
  3. Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;
  4. And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
  5. Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,
  1. 『ユダ に 攻め 上って 脅かし， 我¿に 從わせ， タベアル の 子をそこに 王として 卽位させよう 』と 言っているが，
  2. 主なる 神はこう 言われる． それは 實現せず， 成就しない．
  3. アラム の 頭は ダマスコ ， ダマスコ の 頭は レツィン ． （六十五年たてば エフライム の 民は 消滅する ）
  4. エフライム の 頭は サマリア ／ サマリア の 頭は レマルヤ の 子． 信じなければ， あなたがたは 確かにされない． 」
  5. 主は 更に アハズ に 向かって 言われた．
  1. Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
  2. Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
  3. For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
  4. And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.
  5. Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
  1. 「主なるあなたの 神に， しるしを 求めよ． 深く 陰府の 方に， あるいは 高く 天の 方に． 」
  2. しかし， アハズ は 言った． 「わたしは 求めない． 主を 試すようなことはしない． 」
  3. イザヤ は 言った． 「ダビデ の 家よ 聞け． あなたたちは 人間に ／もどかしい 思いをさせるだけでは 足りず ／わたしの 神にも， もどかしい 思いをさせるのか．
  4. それゆえ， わたしの 主が 御自ら ／あなたたちにしるしを 與えられる． 見よ， おとめが 身ごもって， 男の 子を 産み ／その 名を インマヌエル と 呼ぶ．
  5. 災いを 退け， 幸いを 選ぶことを 知るようになるまで ／彼は 凝乳と 蜂蜜を 食べ 物とする．
  1. Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
  2. But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.
  3. And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
  4. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
  5. Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
  1. その 子が 災いを 退け， 幸いを 選ぶことを 知る 前に， あなたの 恐れる 二人の 王の 領土は 必ず 捨てられる．
  2. 主は， あなたとあなたの 民と 父祖の 家の 上に， エフライム が ユダ から 分かれて 以來， 臨んだことのないような 日¿を 臨ませる． アッシリア の 王がそれだ． 」
  3. その 日が 來れば ／主は 口笛を 吹いて ／ エジプト の 川の 果てから ·を ／ アッシリア の 地から 蜂を 呼ばれる．
  4. 彼らは 一齊に 飛んで 來て ／深い 谷間や 岩の 裂け 目に 宿り ／どの 茨にも， どの 牧場にも 宿る．
  5. その 日には， わたしの 主は ／大河のかなたでかみそりを 雇われる． アッシリア の 王がそれだ． 頭髮も 足の 毛もひげもそり 落とされる．
  1. For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
  2. The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
  3. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
  4. And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
  5. In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
  1. その 日が 來れば ／人は 子牛一頭， 羊二匹の 命を 救いうるのみ．
  2. しかし， それらは 乳を 豊かに 出すようになり ／人は 凝乳を 食べることができる ／この 地に 殘った 者は 皆， 凝乳と 蜂蜜を 食べる．
  3. その 日が 來れば ／ぶどうの 木を 千株も 育てうるところ ／銀一千 シェケル に 値するところもすべて ／茨とおどろに 覆われる．
  4. 茨とおどろがこの 地を 覆うので ／人は 弓矢を 持ってそこへ 行かねばならない．
  5. ¿で 耕されていた 山¿にも ／人は 茨とおどろを 恐れて 足を 踏み 入れず ／ただ 牛を 放ち， 羊が 踏み 步くにまかせる．
  1. And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;
  2. And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.
  3. And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.
  4. With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.
  5. And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
 
  거치는 돌(8:1-8:22)    
 
  1. 主はわたしに 言われた． 「大きな 羊皮紙を 取り， その 上に 分かりやすい 書き 方で， マヘル · シャラル · ハシュ · バズ （分捕りは 早く， 略奪は 速やかに 來る ）と 書きなさい 」と．
  2. そのためにわたしは， 祭司 ウリヤ と エベレクヤ の 子 ゼカルヤ を， 信賴しうる 證人として 立てた．
  3. わたしは 女預言者に 近づいた． 彼女が 身ごもって 男の 子を 産むと， 主はわたしに 言われた． 「この 子に マヘル · シャラル · ハシュ · バズ という 名を 付けなさい．
  4. この 子がお 父さん， お 母さんと 言えるようになる 前に， ダマスコ からはその 富が， サマリア からはその 戰利品が， アッシリア の 王の 前に 運び 去られる． 」
  5. 主は 重ねてわたしに 語られた．
  1. Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
  2. And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
  3. And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.
  4. For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.
  5. The LORD spake also unto me again, saying,
  1. 「この 民はゆるやかに 流れる シロア の 水を 拒み ／ レツィン と レマルヤ の 子のゆえにくずおれる．
  2. それゆえ， 見よ， 主は 大河の 激流を ／彼らの 上に 襲いかからせようとしておられる． すなわち， アッシリア の 王とそのすべての 榮光を． 激流はどの 川床も 滿たし ／至るところで 堤防を 越え
  3. ユダ にみなぎり， 首に 達し， 溢れ， 押し 流す． その 廣げた 翼は ／ インマヌエル よ， あなたの 國土を 覆い 盡くす． 」
  4. 諸國の 民よ， 連合せよ， だがおののけ． 遠い 國¿よ， 共に 耳を 傾けよ． 武裝せよ， だが， おののけ． 武裝せよ， だが， おののけ．
  5. 戰略を 練るがよい， だが， 挫折する． 決定するがよい， だが， 實現することはない． 神が 我らと 共におられる（インマヌエル ）のだから．
  1. Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;
  2. Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
  3. And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.
  4. Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
  5. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
  1. 主は 御手をもってわたしをとらえ， この 民の 行く 道を 行かないように 戒めて 言われた．
  2. あなたたちはこの 民が 同盟と 呼ぶものを ／何一つ 同盟と 呼んではならない． 彼らが 恐れるものを， 恐れてはならない． その 前におののいてはならない．
  3. 万軍の 主をのみ， 聖なる 方とせよ． あなたたちが 畏るべき 方は 主． 御前におののくべき 方は 主．
  4. 主は 聖所にとっては， つまずきの 石 ／ イスラエル の 兩王國にとっては， 妨げの 岩 ／ エルサレム の 住民にとっては ／仕掛け 網となり， ┼となられる．
  5. 多くの 者がこれに 妨げられ， 倒れて 打ち ¿かれ ／┼にかかって 捕らえられる．
  1. For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
  2. Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
  3. Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
  4. And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
  5. And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
  1. わたしは 弟子たちと 共に ／證しの 書を 守り， 敎えを 封じておこう．
  2. わたしは 主を 待ち 望む． 主は 御顔を ヤコブ の 家に 隱しておられるが ／なおわたしは， 彼に 望みをかける．
  3. 見よ， わたしと， 主がわたしにゆだねられた 子らは， シオン の 山に 住まわれる 万軍の 主が 與えられた イスラエル のしるしと 奇跡である．
  4. 人¿は 必ずあなたたちに 言う． 「ささやきつぶやく 口寄せや， 靈媒に 伺いを 立てよ． 民は， 命ある 者のために， 死者によって， 自分の 神に 伺いを 立てるべきではないか 」と．
  5. そして， 敎えと 證しの 書についてはなおのこと， 「このような 言葉にまじないの 力はない 」と 言うであろう．
  1. Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
  2. And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.
  3. Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
  4. And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
  5. To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
  1. この 地で， 彼らは 苦しみ， 飢えてさまよう． 民は 飢えて 憤り， 顔を 天に 向けて 王と 神を 呪う．
  2. 地を 見渡せば， 見よ， 苦難と 闇， 暗黑と 苦惱， 暗闇と 追放．
  1. And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
  2. And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
