	이사야 14:1-16:14 이사야는 하나님께서 이스라엘을 다시 택하셔서 압제하던 자들을 주관하게 하실 것이며, 안식의 날에 악행을 행하던 바벨론, 앗수르, 블레셋, 모압이 멸망받을 것이라고 예언하였다.

	이스라엘의 회복(14:1-14:32)

まことに，主はヤコブを憐れみ／再びイスラエルを選び／彼らの土地に置いてくださる．寄留の民は彼らに加わり／ヤコブの家に結び付く．

もろもろの民は，彼らをその土地に連れて來るが，イスラエルの家は，主の土地で，もろもろの民を男女の奴隷にして自分のものとする．かつて，彼らを捕囚とした者が，かえって彼らの捕囚となり，かつて，彼らを虐げた者が彼らに支配される．

主が，あなたに負わせられた苦痛と惱みと嚴しい勞役から，あなたを解き放たれる日が來る．

そのとき，あなたはバビロンの王に對して，この嘲りの歌をうたう．ああ，虐げる者は滅び／その抑壓は終わった．

主は，逆らう者の杖と／支配者の鞭を折られた．

For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.

かつて，彼らは激怒して諸民族を擊ち／擊って，とどまることを知らなかった．また，怒って諸國民を支配し／假借なく踏みにじった．

しかし今，全世界は安らかに憩い／喜びの聲を放つ．

絲杉もレバノン杉も／お前のことで喜ぶ．「ついに，お前が倒れたから／もはや，切り倒す者が／我¿に向かって來ることはない．」

地下では，陰府が ¿ぎを起こす／お前が來るのを迎えて．そして，亡靈たちを呼び覺ます／地上では，すべてつわものであった者らを．また，その王座から立ち上がらせる／諸國の王であった者らを皆．

He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.

The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

お前の高ぶりは，琴の響きと共に／陰府に落ちた． ·がお前の下に寢床となり／蟲がお前を覆う．

ああ，お前は天から落ちた／明けの明星，曙の子よ．お前は地に投げ落とされた／もろもろの國を倒した者よ．

かつて，お前は心に思った．「わたしは天に上り／王座を神の星よりも高く据え／神¿の集う北の果ての山に座し

雲の頂に登って／いと高き者のようになろう」と．

しかし，お前は陰府に落とされた／墓穴の底に．

Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

お前を見る者は，まじまじと見つめ／お前であることを知って，言う．「これがかつて，地を ¿がせ／國¿を ¿るがせ

世界を荒れ野とし／その町¿を破壞し／捕らわれ人を解き放たず／故鄕に歸らせなかった者か．」

國¿の王は皆，それぞれの墓に／禮を盡くして葬られる．

しかし，お前は墓の外に投げ捨てられる／忌むべきものとされた水子のように．劍で刺された者，殺された者に圍まれ／陰府の底まで下って行く／踏みつけられた死體のように．

お前は，自分の國を滅ぼし／自分の民を殺したので／彼らと共には葬られない．惡を行う者たちの末は／永遠に，その名を呼ばれることはない．

They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

彼らの先祖の咎のゆえに／その子孫のために，屠り場を備えよ．再び，彼らが立ち上がって，世界を奪い／地の表を町¿で滿たすことがないように．

「わたしは，彼らに立ち向かう」と／万軍の主は言われる．「バビロンから，その名も，名殘も／子孫も末 ·も，すべて斷ち滅ぼす」と／主は言われる．

また，「都を山あらしの住みか，沼地とし／滅びの Χ で，掃き淸める」と／万軍の主は言われる．

万軍の主は誓って言われる．「わたしが計ることは必ず成り／わたしが定めることは必ず實現する．

わたしの領土で，アッシリアを滅ぼし／わたしの山¿で彼らを踏みにじる．その阿は，わが民から取り去られ／その重荷は，肩からはずされる．」

Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD.

I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.

The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.

これこそ，全世界に對して定められた計畵／すべての國に伸ばされた御手の業である．

万軍の主が定められれば／誰がそれをとどめえよう．その御手が伸ばされれば／誰が引き戾しえよう．

アハズ王の死んだ年のことである．この託宣が臨んだ．

「ペリシテの民よ，だれも喜んではならない／お前を打った鞭が折られたからといって．蛇の根から ·が出る．その子は炎のように飛び回る．」

乏しい者も，糧を得／貧しい者も，安らかに伏す．「わたしは，飢えによってお前の根を斷ち／お前の殘りの者を殺す．

This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.

For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

In the year that king Ahaz died was this burden.

Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.

門よ，泣き叫べ，町よ，助けを求めよ／ペリシテの民は，皆，おののけ／北から，砂煙を上げて來る者があるからだ．その隊列から落伍する者はひとりもない．」

異國の使者たちに，何と答えるべきか．「シオンの基を据えられたのは主である．苦しむ民は，そこに身を寄せる」と答えよ．

Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.

What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.

	모압에 대한 경고(15:1-16:14)

モアブについての託宣．一夜のうちに，アルは略奪され，モアブは滅びた．一夜のうちに，キルは略奪され，モアブは滅びた．

ディボンの娘は，嘆くために聖なる高台に上った．ネボの上で，またメデバの上で／モアブは泣き叫ぶ．皆，髮をそり上げ，ひげをそり落とす．

巷で，人¿は粗布をまとい／屋上でも廣場でも皆，泣き叫び，嘆きくずおれる．

ヘシュボンとエルアレは助けを求めて叫び／その聲はヤハツにまで聞こえる．それゆえ，モアブの武裝した勇士も悲鳴をあげ／その心はおののく．

わが心は，モアブのために叫ぶ．逃れて行く者がツォアルへ／エグラト · シェリシヤへと向かう．彼らは，ルヒトの坂を泣きながら上り／ホロナイムへの道で，絶望の叫びをあげる．

The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence;

He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off.

In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall howl, weeping abundantly.

And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him.

My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.

ニムリムの水は干上がり／草は枯れ，靑草は盡き／綠はなくなった．

それゆえ，彼らは蓄えた富と家財を携え／アラビムの川床を渡る．

叫び聲は，モアブの全域に響き渡り／泣く聲は，エグライムまで／またベエル · エリムにまで達する．

ディモンの水は血に染まる．わたしが，ディモンに災いを加え／モアブの難民とアダマの生き殘りの者に／獅子を送るからだ．

For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing.

Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.

For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beerelim.

For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.

使者を立て，貢ぎ物の羊を送れ／その地を治める者よ／荒れ野の町セラから，娘シオンの山へ．

「アルノンの渡し場に集うモアブの娘らは／巢を追われ，さまよう鳥のようです．

助言し，指示を與えてください．眞¿にも夜のような陰となって／追われた者を隱し／さまよう者を覆ってください．

モアブの追われている者を／あなたのもとに宿らせ／破壞する者から隱してください．」まことに，地上から虐げる者はうせ／破壞する者は滅び，踏みにじる者は絶える．

そのとき，ダビデの幕屋に／王座が慈しみをもって立てられ／その上に，治める者が，まことをもって座す．彼は公平を求め，正義を速やかにもたらす．

Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.

For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.

Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

我¿はモアブが傲慢に語るのを聞いた．甚だしく高ぶり，誇り／傲慢で梶っていた．その自慢話はでたらめであった．

それゆえ，モアブは泣き叫べ．モアブのすべての者は泣き叫べ．キル · ハレセトで供えたぶどう菓子のゆえに／お前たちは打ちのめされて呻け．

ヘシュボンの畑，シブマのぶどうは枯れた．かつて，その若枝は諸國の支配者たちを押さえ／ヤゼルに達し，荒れ野にはびこり／つるは廣がって，海を越えたのに．

それゆえ，わたしはヤゼルのために／また，シブマのぶどうのために泣く．ヘシュボンよ，エルアレよ／わたしは淚でお前を浸す．お前の果物の取り入れと麥の刈り入れに／勘の聲が襲いかかったからだ．

わたしは果樹園から喜びも樂しみも奪う．ぶどう園で喜びの叫びをあげる者も／酒ぶねでぶどうを踏む者もいなくなり／わたしは喜びの聲を終わらせる．

We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.

Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken.

For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.

Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.

And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.

それゆえ，わがはらわたはモアブのために／わが胸はキル · ヘレスのために／竪琴のように嘆く．

モアブが幾たび聖なる高台にもうで／その神殿を訪れて，祈っても／何の役にも立たない．

これは昔，主がモアブについて語られた言葉である．

更に今，主は言われる．「雇い人の年期のように三年たてば，多くの民を持つモアブの榮光は必ず終わり，わずかな者だけが殘され，力はうせる．」

Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.

And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.

This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.

But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
