- 兄弟たち， あなたがたは， 自由を 得るために 召し 出されたのです． ただ， この 自由を， 肉に 罪を 犯させる 機會とせずに， 愛によって 互いに 仕えなさい．
- 律法全體は， 「隣人を 自分のように 愛しなさい 」という 一句によって 全うされるからです．
- だが， 互いにかみ 合い， 共食いしているのなら， 互いに 滅ぼされないように 注意しなさい．
- わたしが 言いたいのは， こういうことです． 靈の 導きに 從って 步みなさい． そうすれば， 決して 肉の 欲望を 滿足させるようなことはありません．
- 肉の 望むところは， 靈に 反し， 靈の 望むところは， 肉に 反するからです． 肉と 靈とが 對立し 合っているので， あなたがたは， 自分のしたいと 思うことができないのです．

- For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
- This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
- For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

- しかし， 靈に 導かれているなら， あなたがたは， 律法の 下にはいません．
- 肉の 業は 明らかです． それは， 姦淫， わいせつ， 好色，
- 偶像禮拜， 魔術， 敵意， 爭い， そねみ， 怒り， 利己心， 不和， 仲間爭い，
- ねたみ， 泥醉， 酒宴， その 他このたぐいのものです． 以前言っておいたように， ここでも 前もって 言いますが， このようなことを 行う 者は， 神の 國を 受け 繼ぐことはできません．
- これに 對して， 靈の 結ぶ 實は 愛であり， 喜び， 平和， 寬容， 親切， 善意， 誠實，

- But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
- Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
- Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
- Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

- 柔和， 節制です． これらを 禁じる ¿はありません．
- キリスト · イエス のものとなった 人たちは， 肉を 欲情や 欲望もろとも 十字架につけてしまったのです．
- わたしたちは， 靈の 導きに 從って 生きているなら， 靈の 導きに 從ってまた 前進しましょう．
- うぬぼれて， 互いに 挑み 合ったり， ねたみ 合ったりするのはやめましょう．

- Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
- And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
