	이사야 42:1-43:28 이사야는 메시아의 사역을 예언하면서, 야웨께서 그의 종인 메시아를 보호하시고 그를 백성의 언약과 이방의 빛이 되도록 하실 것이라고 예언하였다. 그리고 하나님께서 범죄한 이스라엘을 바벨론에서 해방시키실 것이라고 예언하였다.

	메시아의 통치와 사역(42:1-42:25)

見よ，わたしの僕，わたしが支える者を．わたしが選び，喜び迎える者を．彼の上にわたしの靈は置かれ／彼は國¿の裁きを導き出す．

彼は叫ばず，呼ばわらず，聲を巷に響かせない．

傷ついた葦を折ることなく／暗くなってゆく燈心を消すことなく／裁きを導き出して，確かなものとする．

暗くなることも，傷つき果てることもない／この地に裁きを置くときまでは．島¿は彼の敎えを待ち望む．

主である神はこう言われる．神は天を創造して，これを廣げ／地とそこに生ずるものを繰り廣げ／その上に住む人¿に息を與え／そこを步く者に靈を與えられる．

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

主であるわたしは，惠みをもってあなたを呼び／あなたの手を取った．民の契約，諸國の光として／あなたを形づくり，あなたを立てた．

見ることのできない目を開き／捕らわれ人をその枷から／闇に住む人をその牢獄から救い出すために．

わたしは主，これがわたしの名．わたしは榮光をほかの神に渡さず／わたしの榮譽を偶像に與えることはしない．

見よ，初めのことは成就した．新しいことをわたしは告げよう．それが芽生えてくる前に／わたしはあなたたちにそれを聞かせよう．

新しい歌を主に向かって歌え．地の果てから主の榮譽を歌え．海に漕ぎ出す者，海に滿ちるもの／島¿とそこに住む者よ．

I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

荒れ野とその町¿よ．ケダル族の宿る村¿よ，呼ばわれ．セラに住む者よ，喜び歌え．山¿の頂から叫び聲をあげよ．

主に榮光を歸し／主の榮譽を島¿に告げ知らせよ．

主は，勇士のように出で立ち／戰士のように熱情を奮い起こし／叫びをあげ，勘の聲をあげ，敵を壓倒される．

わたしは決して聲を立てず／默して，自分を抑えてきた．今，わたしは子を産む女のようにあえぎ／激しく息を吸い，また息を吐く．

わたしは山も丘も廢虛とし，草をすべて枯らす．大河を島に變え，湖を干す．

Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.

The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.

I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.

I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.

目の見えない人を導いて知らない道を行かせ／通ったことのない道を步かせる．行く手の闇を光に變え／曲がった道をまっすぐにする．わたしはこれらのことを成就させ／見捨てることはない．

偶像に依り賴む者／鑄た像に向かって／あなたたちがわたしたちの神，と言う者は／甚だしく恥を受けて退く．

耳の聞こえない人よ，聞け．目の見えない人よ，よく見よ．

わたしの僕ほど目の見えない者があろうか．わたしが遣わす者ほど／耳の聞こえない者があろうか．わたしが信任を與えた者ほど／目の見えない者／主の僕ほど目の見えない者があろうか．

多くのことが目に映っても何も見えず／耳が開いているのに，何も聞こえない．

And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.

Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

主は御自分の正しさゆえに／敎えを偉大なものとし，輝かすことを喜ばれる．

この民は略奪され，奪われ／皆，穴の中に捕らえられ，牢につながれている．略奪に遭っても，助け出す者はなく／奪われても，返せと言う者はない．

あなたたちの中にこれを聞き取る者があるか．後の日のために注意して聞く者があるか．

奪う者にヤコブを渡し／略奪する者にイスラエルを渡したのは誰か．それは主ではないか／この方にわたしたちも罪を犯した．彼らは主の道に步もうとせず／その敎えに聞き從おうとしなかった．

主は燃える怒りを注ぎ出し／激しい戰いを挑まれた．その炎に圍まれても，悟る者はなく／火が自分に燃え移っても，氣づく者はなかった．

The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?

Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

	이스라엘의 구원자(43:1-43:28)

ヤコブよ，あなたを創造された主は／イスラエルよ，あなたを造られた主は／今，こう言われる．恐れるな，わたしはあなたを ·う．あなたはわたしのもの．わたしはあなたの名を呼ぶ．

水の中を通るときも，わたしはあなたと共にいる．大河の中を通っても，あなたは押し流されない．火の中を步いても，燒かれず／炎はあなたに燃えつかない．

わたしは主，あなたの神／イスラエルの聖なる神，あなたの救い主．わたしはエジプトをあなたの身代金とし／クシュとセバをあなたの代償とする．

わたしの目にあなたは價高く，貴く／わたしはあなたを愛し／あなたの身代わりとして人を與え／國¿をあなたの魂の代わりとする．

恐れるな，わたしはあなたと共にいる．わたしは東からあなたの子孫を連れ歸り／西からあなたを集める．

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

北に向かっては，行かせよ，と／南に向かっては，引き止めるな，と言う．わたしの息子たちを遠くから／娘たちを地の果てから連れ歸れ，と言う．

彼らは皆，わたしの名によって呼ばれる者．わたしの榮光のために創造し／形づくり，完成した者．

引き出せ，目があっても，見えぬ民を／耳があっても，聞こえぬ民を．

國¿を一堂に集わせ，すべての民を集めよ．彼らの中に，このことを告げ／初めからのことを聞かせる者があろうか．自分たちの證人を立て，正しさを示し／聞く者に，そのとおりだ，と／言わせうる者があろうか．

わたしの證人はあなたたち／わたしが選んだわたしの僕だ，と主は言われる．あなたたちはわたしを知り，信じ／理解するであろう／わたしこそ主，わたしの前に神は造られず／わたしの後にも存在しないことを．

I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

わたし，わたしが主である．わたしのほかに救い主はない．

わたしはあらかじめ告げ，そして救いを與え／あなたたちに，ほかに神はないことを知らせた．あなたたちがわたしの證人である，と／主は言われる．わたしは神

今より後も，わたしこそ主．わたしの手から救い出せる者はない．わたしが事を起こせば，誰が元に戾しえようか．

あなたたちを ·う方，イスラエルの聖なる神／主はこう言われる．わたしは，あなたたちのために／バビロンに人を遣わして，かんぬきをすべて下ろし／カルデア人を歡樂の船から引き下ろす．

わたしは主，あなたたちの聖なる神／イスラエルの創造主，あなたたちの王．

I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.

Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.

I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

主はこう言われる．海の中に道を通し／恐るべき水の中に通路を開かれた方

戰車や馬，强大な軍隊を共に引き出し／彼らを倒して再び立つことを許さず／燈心のように消え去らせた方．

初めからのことを思い出すな．昔のことを思いめぐらすな．

見よ，新しいことをわたしは行う．今や，それは芽生えている．あなたたちはそれを悟らないのか．わたしは荒れ野に道を敷き／砂漠に大河を流れさせる．

野の ¿，山犬や喚鳥もわたしをあがめる．荒れ野に水を，砂漠に大河を流れさせ／わたしの選んだ民に水を飮ませるからだ．

Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

わたしはこの民をわたしのために造った．彼らはわたしの榮譽を語らねばならない．

しかし，ヤコブよ，あなたはわたしを呼ばず／イスラエルよ，あなたはわたしを重荷とした．

あなたは羊をわたしへの燒き盡くす獻げ物とせず／いけにえをもってわたしを敬おうとしなかった．わたしは穀物の獻げ物のために／あなたを苦しめたことはない．乳香のために重荷を負わせたこともない．

あなたは香水萱をわたしのために買おうと／銀を量ることもせず／いけにえの脂肪をもって／わたしを飽き足らせようともしなかった．むしろ，あなたの罪のためにわたしを苦しめ／あなたの惡のために，わたしに重荷を負わせた．

わたし，このわたしは，わたし自身のために／あなたの背きの罪をぬぐい／あなたの罪を思い出さないことにする．

This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.

Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.

Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

わたしに思い出させるならば／共に裁きに臨まなければならない．申し立てて，自分の正しさを立證してみよ．

あなたの始祖は罪を犯し／あなたを導く者らもわたしに背いた．

それゆえ，わたしは聖所の司らを汚し／ヤコブを絶滅に，イスラエルを汚辱にまかせた．

Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.

Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
