예레미야 33:1-34:22

 하나님께서는 이스라엘과 유다 민족이 포로에서 해방될 것과 메시아를 통해 그들을 영원히 회복시켜 주실 것을 약속하셨다. 이 위로의 메시지를 전하고 난 후 예레미야는 유다의 함락과 시드기야의 포로됨과 죽음에 관해 예언하였고, 동족을 노예로 삼는 악행을 저질러 하나님의 규례를 어긴 유다 방백들과 백성들이 당할 징벌을 예고하였다.
  
  회복의 약속(33:1-33:26)    
 
  1. 主の 言葉が 再び エレミヤ に 臨んだ． このとき 彼は， まだ 獄舍に 拘留されていた．
  2. 主はこう 言われる． 創造者， 主， すべてを 形づくり， 確かにされる 方． その 御名は 主．
  3. 「わたしを 呼べ． わたしはあなたに 答え， あなたの 知らない 隱された 大いなることを 告げ 知らせる．
  4. 攻城の 土壘が 築かれた 後， 劍を 帶びた 敵の 侵入を 防ぐために， 破壞されたこの 都の 家屋と ユダ の 王の 宮殿について， イスラエル の 神， 主はこう 言われる．
  5. 彼らは カルデア 人と 戰うが， 都は 死體に 溢れるであろう． わたしが 怒りと 憤りをもって 彼らを 打ち 殺し， そのあらゆる 惡行のゆえに， この 都から 顔を 背けたからだ．
  1. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
  2. Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
  3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
  4. For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
  5. They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
  1. しかし， 見よ， わたしはこの 都に， いやしと 治癒と 回復とをもたらし， 彼らをいやしてまことの 平和を 豊かに 示す．
  2. そして， ユダ と イスラエル の 繁榮を 回復し， 彼らを 初めのときのように 建て 直す．
  3. わたしに 對して 犯したすべての 罪から 彼らを 淸め， 犯した 罪と 反逆のすべてを 赦す．
  4. わたしがこの 都に 與える 大いなる 惠みについて 世界のすべての 國¿が 聞くとき， この 都はわたしに 喜ばしい 名聲， 贊美の 歌， 輝きをもたらすものとなる． 彼らは， わたしがこの 都に 與える 大いなる 惠みと 平和とを 見て， 恐れおののくであろう．
  5. 主はこう 言われる． この 場所に， すなわちお 前たちが， ここは 廢虛で 人も 住まず， ¿もいないと 言っているこの ユダ の 町¿と エルサレム の 廣場に， 再び 聲が 聞こえるようになる． そこは 荒れ 果てて， 今は 人も， 住民も， ¿もいない．
  1. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
  2. And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
  3. And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
  4. And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
  5. Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
  1. しかし， やがて 喜び 祝う 聲， 花¿と 花嫁の 聲， 感謝の 供え 物を 主の 神殿に 携えて 來る 者が， 『万軍の 主をほめたたえよ． 主は 惠み 深く， その 慈しみはとこしえに 』と 歌う 聲が 聞こえるようになる． それはわたしが， この 國の 繁榮を 初めのときのように 回復するからである．
  2. 万軍の 主はこう 言われる． 人も 住まず， ¿もいない 荒れ 果てたこの 場所で， またすべての 町¿で， 再び 羊飼いが 牧場を 持ち， 羊の 群れを 憩わせるようになる．
  3. 山あいの 町¿， シェフェラ の 町¿， ネゲブ の 町¿， ベニヤミン 族の 所領， エルサレム の 周邊， ユダ の 町¿で， 再び， 羊飼いが， 群れをなして 戾って 來る 羊を 數えるようになる．
  4. 見よ， わたしが， イスラエル の 家と ユダ の 家に 惠みの 約束を 果たす 日が 來る， と 主は 言われる．
  5. その 日， その 時， わたしは ダビデ のために 正義の 若枝を 生え 出でさせる． 彼は 公平と 正義をもってこの 國を 治める．
  1. The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.
  2. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
  3. In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.
  4. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
  5. In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
  1. その 日には， ユダ は 救われ， エルサレム は 安らかに 人の 住まう 都となる． その 名は， 『主は 我らの 救い 』と 呼ばれるであろう．
  2. 主はこう 言われる． ダビデ のために イスラエル の 家の 王座につく 者は， 絶えることがない．
  3. レビ 人である 祭司のためにも， わたしの 前に 動物や 穀物を 供えて 燒き， いけにえをささげる 者はいつまでも 絶えることがない． 」
  4. 主の 言葉が エレミヤ に 臨んだ．
  5. 「主はこう 言われる． わたしが ¿と 結んだ 契約， 夜と 結んだ 契約を， お 前たちが 破棄して， ¿と 夜とがその 時に 從って 巡るのを 妨げることができないように，
  1. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
  2. For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
  3. Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
  4. And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
  5. Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
  1. わたしが， わが 僕 ダビデ と 結んだ 契約が 破棄され， ダビデ の 王位を 繼ぐ 嫡子がなくなり， また， わたしに 仕える レビ 人である 祭司との 契約が 破棄されることもない．
  2. わたしは 數えきれない 滿天の 星のように， 量り 知れない 海の 砂のように， わが 僕 ダビデ の 子孫と， わたしに 仕える レビ 人の 數を 增やす． 」
  3. 主の 言葉が エレミヤ に 臨んだ．
  4. 「この 民は， 『主は 御自分が 選んだ 二つの 氏族を 見放された 』と 言って， わが 民をもはや 一國と 呼ぶに 値しないかのように， 輕んじているのをあなたは 知らないのか．
  5. 主はこう 言われる． もし， わたしが ¿と 夜と 結んだ 契約が 存在せず， また， わたしが 天と 地の 定めを 確立しなかったのなら，
  1. Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
  2. As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
  3. Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
  4. Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
  5. Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
  1. わたしは ヤコブ とわが 僕 ダビデ の 子孫を 退け， アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ の 子孫を 治める 者を 選ぶことをやめるであろう． しかしわたしは， 彼らの 繁榮を 回復し， 彼らを 憐れむ． 」
  1. Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
 
  시드기야와 백성들에 대한 경고(34:1-34:22)    
 
  1. 主から エレミヤ に 臨んだ 言葉． ときに， バビロン の 王 ネブカドレツァル とその 軍隊， および 支配下にある 領土の 全王國， 全民族が， エルサレム とその 周邊の 町¿を 攻擊していた．
  2. 「イスラエル の 神， 主はこう 言われる． 行って， ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ に 言え． 主はこう 言われる． わたしは， この 都を バビロン の 王の 手に 渡す． 王はこれに 火を 放つと， 彼に 言うのだ．
  3. あなたは， 彼の 手から 逃れることはできない． 必ず 捕らえられてその 手に 渡される． あなたは バビロン の 王の 前に 引き 出され， 直接尋問され， バビロン へ 連れて 行かれる．
  4. しかし， ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ よ， 主の 言葉を 聞くがよい． 主はあなたについてこう 言われる． あなたは 劍にかかって 死ぬことはない．
  5. あなたは 平和のうちに 死ぬ． 人¿は， あなたの 先祖である 歷代の 王の 葬儀に 際して 香をたいたように， あなたのために 香をたき， 『ああ， 王樣 』と 言って 嘆くであろう． このことをわたしは 約束する， と 主は 言われる． 」
  1. The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,
  2. Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:
  3. And thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.
  4. Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword:
  5. But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.
  1. 預言者 エレミヤ は エルサレム で， この 言葉どおりに ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ に 告げた．
  2. このとき， バビロン の 王の 軍隊は， エルサレム と， ユダ の 殘っていた 町¿， すなわち ラキシュ と アゼカ を 攻擊していた． ユダ の 町¿の 中で， これらの 城壁を 持った 町だけがまだ 殘っていたのである．
  3. ゼデキヤ 王が， エルサレム にいる 民と 契約を 結んで 奴隷の 解放を 宣言した 後に， 主から エレミヤ に 臨んだ 言葉．
  4. その 契約は， ヘブライ 人の 男女の 奴隷を 自由の 身として 去らせ， また 何人であれ 同胞である ユダ の 人を 奴隷とはしないことを 定めたものである．
  5. この 契約に 加わった 貴族と 民は， それぞれ 男女の 奴隷を 自由の 身として 去らせ， 再び 奴隷とはしないという 定めに 從って 去らせた．
  1. Then Jeremiah the prophet spake all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,
  2. When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.
  3. This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;
  4. That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to wit, of a Jew his brother.
  5. Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.
  1. しかしその 後， 彼らは 態度を 變え， いったん 自由の 身として 去らせた 男女の 奴隷を 再び 强制して 奴隷の 身分とした．
  2. そのとき， 主の 言葉が エレミヤ に 臨んだ．
  3. 「イスラエル の 神， 主はこう 言われる． わたしは， 奴隷の 家 エジプト の 國からあなたたちの 先祖を 導き 出した 日に， 彼らと 契約を 結んで 命じた．
  4. だれでも， 同胞である ヘブライ 人が 身を 賣って 六年間， あなたのために ¿いたなら， 七年目には 自由の 身として， あなたのもとから 去らせなければならない， と． ところが， お 前たちの 先祖はわたしに 聞き 從わず， 耳を 傾けようとしなかった．
  5. しかし 今日， お 前たちは 心を 入れ 替えて， わたしの 正しいと 思うことを 行った． お 前たちは 皆， 隣人に 解放を 宣言し， わたしの 名で 呼ばれる 神殿において， わたしの 前に 契約を 結んだ．
  1. But afterward they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.
  2. Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
  3. Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,
  4. At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.
  5. And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
  1. ところがお 前たちは， またもや， 態度を 變えてわたしの 名を 汚した． 彼らの 望みどおり 自由の 身として 去らせた 男女の 奴隷を 再び 强制して 奴隷の 身分としている．
  2. それゆえ， 主はこう 言われる． お 前たちが， 同胞， 隣人に 解放を 宣言せよというわたしの 命令に 從わなかったので， わたしはお 前たちに 解放を 宣言する， と 主は 言われる． それは 劍， 疫病， 飢鴨に 渡す 解放である． わたしは， お 前たちを 世界のすべての 國¿の 嫌惡の 的とする．
  3. わたしの 契約を 破り， わたしの 前で 自ら 結んだ 契約の 言葉を 履行しない 者を， 彼らが 契約に 際して 眞っ 二つに 切り 裂き， その 間を 通ったあの 子牛のようにする．
  4. ユダ と エルサレム の 貴族， 役人， 祭司， および 國の 民のすべてが 二つに 切り 裂いた 子牛の 間を 通った．
  5. わたしは， 彼らを 敵の 手に 渡し， 命を 奪おうとする 者の 手に 渡す． 彼らの 死體は， 空の 鳥と 地の ¿の 餌食になる．
  1. But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.
  2. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
  3. And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof,
  4. The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf;
  5. I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.
  1. ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ と 貴族たちを 敵の 手に， 命を 奪おうとする 者の 手に， すなわち 一時撤退した バビロン の 王の 軍隊の 手に 渡す．
  2. わたしは 命令を 下す， と 主は 言われる． わたしは， 彼らをこの 都に 呼び 戾す． 彼らはこの 都を 攻擊し， 占領して 火を 放つであろう． わたしは， ユダ の 町¿を， 住む 者のない 廢虛とする． 」
  1. And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you.
  2. Behold, I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.
 
  비밀한( 33:3)  원어상 의미는 ‘도달할 수 없는 것’인데, 여기서는 하나님의 구속의 능력을 뜻함
