- 金持ちと 貧乏な 人が 出會う． 主はそのどちらも 造られた．
- 思慮深い 人は 災難が 來ると 見れば 身を 隱す． 淺はかな 者は 通り 拔けようとして 痛い 目に 遭う．
- 主を 畏れて 身を 低くすれば ／富も 名譽も 命も 從って 來る．
- 曲がった 道には 茨と ┼． そこから 遠ざかる 人は 自分の 魂を 守る．

- A GOOD name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
- The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.
- A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
- By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.
- Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.

- 金持ちが 貧乏な 者を 支配する． 借りる 者は 貸す 者の 奴隷となる．
- 惡を 蒔く 者は 災いを 刈り 入れる． 鞭は 傲慢を 斷つ．
- 寬大な 人は 祝福を 受ける ／自分の パン をさいて 弱い 人に 與えるから．
- 不遜な 者を 追い 出せば， いさかいも 去る． 爭いも 嘲笑もやむ．
