- わたしがあなたがたに 書いているのは， あなたがたが 眞理を 知らないからではなく， 眞理を 知り， また， すべて 僞りは 眞理から 生じないことを 知っているからです．
- 僞り 者とは， イエス が メシア であることを 否定する 者でなくて， だれでありましょう． 御父と 御子を 認めない 者， これこそ 反 キリスト です．

- Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
- They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
- But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
- I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
- Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

- 御子を 認めない 者はだれも， 御父に 結ばれていません． 御子を 公に 言い 表す 者は， 御父にも 結ばれています．
- 初めから 聞いていたことを， 心にとどめなさい． 初めから 聞いていたことが， あなたがたの 內にいつもあるならば， あなたがたも 御子の 內に， また 御父の 內にいつもいるでしょう．
- これこそ， 御子がわたしたちに 約束された 約束， 永遠の 命です．
- 以上， あなたがたを 惑わせようとしている 者たちについて 書いてきました．
- しかし， いつもあなたがたの 內には， 御子から 注がれた 油がありますから， だれからも 敎えを 受ける 必要がありません． この 油が 万事について 敎えます． それは 眞實であって， 僞りではありません． だから， 敎えられたとおり， 御子の 內にとどまりなさい．

- Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
- Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
- And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
- These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
- But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

- さて， 子たちよ， 御子の 內にいつもとどまりなさい． そうすれば， 御子の 現れるとき， 確信を 持つことができ， 御子が 來られるとき， 御前で 恥じ 入るようなことがありません．
- あなたがたは， 御子が 正しい 方だと 知っているなら， 義を 行う 者も 皆， 神から 生まれていることが 分かるはずです．

- And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
