아모스 7:1-8:14

 아모스는 황충, 불, 다림줄 환상에 이어 여름 실과의 환상을 보았다. 황충과 불의 환상은 북이스라엘의 멸망과 하나님의 심판에 대한 경고를, 다림줄과 여름 실과의 환상은 회개치 않은 북이스라엘에 대한 하나님의 심판이 확정되었음을 보여 주는 것이었다. 아모스는 심판의 날에는 절망적인 애곡과 하나님의 말씀에 대한 극심한 영적 기갈이 있을 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  아모스의 환상(7:1-8:14)    
 
  1. 主なる 神はこのようにわたしに 示された． 見よ， 主は 二番草の 生え 始めるころ， いなごを 造られた． それは， 王が 刈り 取った 後に 生える 二番草であった．
  2. いなごが 大地の 靑草を 食べ 盡くそうとしたので， わたしは 言った． 「主なる 神よ， どうぞ 赦してください． ヤコブ はどうして 立つことができるでしょう ／彼は 小さいものです． 」
  3. 主はこれを 思い 直され ／「このことは 起こらない 」と 言われた．
  4. 主なる 神はこのようにわたしに 示された． 見よ， 主なる 神は 審判の 火を 呼ばれた． 火が 大いなる 淵をなめ 盡くし， 畑も 燒き 盡くそうとしたので，
  5. わたしは 言った． 「主なる 神よ， どうぞやめてください． ヤコブ はどうして 立つことができるでしょう ／彼は 小さいものです． 」
  1. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings.
  2. And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
  3. The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.
  4. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.
  5. Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
  1. 主はこれを 思い 直され ／「このことも 起こらない 」と 主なる 神は 言われた．
  2. 主はこのようにわたしに 示された． 見よ， 主は 手に 下げ 振りを 持って， 下げ 振りで 点檢された 城壁の 上に 立っておられる．
  3. 主はわたしに 言われた． 「アモス よ， 何が 見えるか． 」わたしは 答えた． 「下げ 振りです． 」主は 言われた． 「見よ， わたしは ／わが 民 イスラエル の 眞ん 中に 下げ 振りを 下ろす． もはや， 見過ごしにすることはできない．
  4. イサク の 塚は 荒らされ ／ イスラエル の 聖なる 高台は 廢虛になる． わたしは 劍をもって ／ ヤロブアム の 家に 立ち 向かう． 」
  5. ベテル の 祭司 アマツヤ は， イスラエル の 王 ヤロブアム に 人を 遣わして 言った． 「イスラエル の 家の 眞ん 中で， アモス があなたに 背きました． この 國は 彼のすべての 言葉に 耐えられません．
  1. The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.
  2. Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.
  3. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
  4. And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
  5. Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
  1. アモス はこう 言っています． 『ヤロブアム は 劍で 殺される． イスラエル は， 必ず 捕らえられて ／その 土地から 連れ 去られる． 』」
  2. アマツヤ は アモス に 言った． 「先見者よ， 行け． ユダ の 國へ 逃れ， そこで 糧を 得よ． そこで 預言するがよい．
  3. だが， ベテル では 二度と 預言するな． ここは 王の 聖所， 王國の 神殿だから． 」
  4. アモス は 答えて アマツヤ に 言った． 「わたしは 預言者ではない． 預言者の 弟子でもない． わたしは 家畜を 飼い， いちじく 桑を 栽培する 者だ．
  5. 主は 家畜の 群れを 追っているところから， わたしを 取り， 『行って， わが 民 イスラエル に 預言せよ 』と 言われた．
  1. For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
  2. Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
  3. But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.
  4. Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
  5. And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
  1. 今， 主の 言葉を 聞け． あなたは， 『イスラエル に 向かって 預言するな， イサク の 家に 向かってたわごとを 言うな 』と 言う．
  2. それゆえ， 主はこう 言われる． お 前の 妻は 町の 中で 遊女となり ／息子， 娘らは 劍に 倒れ ／土地は 測り ¿で 分けられ ／お 前は 汚れた 土地で 死ぬ． イスラエル は， 必ず 捕らえられて ／その 土地から 連れ 去られる． 」
  1. Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
  2. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.
 
 
  1. 主なる 神はこのようにわたしに 示された． 見よ， 一 ζ の 夏の 果物（カイツ ）があった． 主は 言われた．
  2. 「アモス よ， 何が 見えるか． 」わたしは 答えた． 「一 ζ の 夏の 果物です． 」主はわたしに 言われた． 「わが 民 イスラエル に 最後（ケ ― ツ ）が 來た． もはや， 見過ごしにすることはできない．
  3. その 日には， 必ず ／宮殿の 歌い 女は 泣きわめくと ／主なる 神は 言われる． しかばねはおびただしく ／至るところに 投げ 捨てられる． 聲を 出すな． 」
  4. このことを 聞け． 貧しい 者を 踏みつけ ／苦しむ 農民を 押さえつける 者たちよ．
  5. お 前たちは 言う． 「新月祭はいつ 終わるのか， 穀物を 賣りたいものだ． 安息日はいつ 終わるのか， 麥を 賣り 盡くしたいものだ． エファ 升は 小さくし， 分銅は 重くし， 僞りの 天秤を 使ってごまかそう．
  1. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
  2. And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
  3. And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
  4. Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
  5. Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
  1. 弱い 者を 金で， 貧しい 者を 靴一足の 値で 買い 取ろう． また， くず 麥を 賣ろう． 」
  2. 主は ヤコブ の 誇りにかけて 誓われる． 「わたしは， 彼らが 行ったすべてのことを ／いつまでも 忘れない． 」
  3. このために， 大地は ¿れ 動かないだろうか． そこに 住む 者は 皆， 嘆き 悲しまないだろうか． 大地はことごとく ナイル のように 盛り 上がり ／ エジプト の 大河のように 押し 上げられ ／また， 沈まないだろうか．
  4. その 日が 來ると， と 主なる 神は 言われる． わたしは 眞¿に 太陽を 沈ませ ／白¿に 大地を 闇とする．
  5. わたしはお 前たちの 祭りを 悲しみに ／喜びの 歌をことごとく 嘆きの 歌に 變え ／どの 腰にも 粗布をまとわせ ／どの 頭の 髮の 毛もそり 落とさせ ／獨り 子を 亡くしたような 悲しみを 與え ／その 最期を 苦惱に 滿ちた 日とする．
  1. That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?
  2. The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.
  3. Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
  4. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
  5. And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
  1. 見よ， その 日が 來ればと ／主なる 神は 言われる． わたしは 大地に 飢えを 送る． それは パン に 飢えることでもなく ／水に 渴くことでもなく ／主の 言葉を 聞くことのできぬ 飢えと 渴きだ．
  2. 人¿は 海から 海へと 巡り ／北から 東へとよろめき 步いて ／主の 言葉を 探し 求めるが ／見いだすことはできない．
  3. その 日には， 美しいおとめも 力强い 若者も ／渴きのために 氣を 失う．
  4. サマリア の 罪にかけて 誓う 者ども ／「ダン よ， お 前の 神は 生きている． ベエル · シェバ よ ／お 前の 愛する 者は 生きている 」と 言う 者どもは ／倒れて 再び 立ち 上がることはない．
  1. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
  2. And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
  3. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
  4. They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
