잠언 28:10-28:19

 정직하며 항상 주를 경외하는 의인의 삶과, 자기 죄를 숨기고 방탕을 좇는 악인의 삶을 대조하여 교훈하고 있다.
  
 
  1. 正しい 人を 惡の 道に 迷い ¿ませる 者は ／自分の 掘った 穴に 落ちる． 無垢な 人¿は 良い 嗣業を 受ける．
  2. 金持ちは 自分を 賢いと 思い ¿む． 弱くても 分別ある 人は 彼を 見拔く．
  3. 神に 從う 人¿が 喜び 勇むと 輝きは 增し ／神に 逆らう 者が 興ると 人は 身を 隱す．
  4. 罪を 隱している 者は 榮えない． 告白して 罪を 捨てる 者は 憐れみを 受ける．
  5. いかに 幸いなことか， 常に 恐れを 抱いている 人． 心の 頑な 者は 苦難に 陷る．
  1. Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
  2. The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
  3. When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
  4. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
  5. Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
  1. 獅子がうなり， 熊が 襲いかかる． 神に 逆らう 者が 弱い 民を 支配する．
  2. 指導者に 英知が 欠けると 搾取が 增す． 奪うことを 憎む 人は 長壽を 得る．
  3. 流血の 罪の 重荷を 負う 者は， 逃れて 墓穴に 至る． だれも 彼を 援助してはならない．
  4. 完全な 道を 步む 人は 救われる． 二筋の 曲がった 道を 步む 者は 直ちに 倒れる．
  5. 自分の 土地を 耕す 人は パン に 飽き 足りる． 空を 追う 者は 乏しさに 飽き 足りる．
  1. As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
  2. The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
  3. A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
  4. Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
  5. He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
