스바냐

  스바냐가 예언 활동하던 당시의 유다는 종교적 죄악과 지도자들의 압제와 포학이 만연해 있었다. 이에 스바냐는 ‘야웨의 큰 날’에 전 세계와 유다에게 임할 하나님의 심판을 경고하여 회개를 촉구하였고, 그날 하나님께서 회심한 이방인과 그의 백성을 구원할 것을 선포했다.

  스바냐는 유다 주변 국가들에게 임할 심판을 예언하고 예루살렘의 죄를 언급한 후, 하나님께서 그의 백성을 다시 모으고 구속하시며 회복시키시는 때가 올 것이라고 예언하고 있다.

 

 

스바냐 1:1-3:20

 스바냐는 우상 숭배와 유다의 지도자, 상인, 그리고 야웨를 경외하지 않는 사람들이 행한 모든 죄를 지적하면서 야웨의 날의 심판이 가까웠음을 말하였다. 그는 예루살렘에 임할 하나님의 심판을 선포한 후, 그 후에 이루어질 열방과 이스라엘의 남은 자에 대한 구원과 회복을 예언하였다.
  
  야웨의 날(1:1-3:20)    
 
  1. ユダ の 王 アモン の 子 ヨシヤ の 時代に， クシ の 子 ゼファニヤ に 臨んだ 主の 言葉． クシ は ゲダルヤ の 子， ゲダルヤ は アマルヤ の 子， アマルヤ は ヒズキヤ の 子である．
  2. わたしは 地の 面から ／すべてのものを 一掃する， と 主は 言われる．
  3. わたしは， 人も ¿も 取り 去り ／空の 鳥も 海の 魚も 取り 去る． 神に 逆らう 者をつまずかせ ／人を 地の 面から 絶つ， と 主は 言われる．
  4. わたしは， ユダ の 上と ／ エルサレム の 全住民の 上に 手を 伸ばし ／ バアル のあらゆる 名殘とその 神官の 名聲を ／祭司たちと 共に， この 場所から 絶つ．
  5. 屋上で 天の 万象を 拜む 者 ／主を 拜み， 主に 誓いを 立てながら ／ マルカム にも 誓いを 立てる 者
  1. The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.
  2. I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.
  3. I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.
  4. I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;
  5. And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;
  1. 主に 背を 向け ／主を 尋ねず， 主を 求めようとしない 者を 絶つ．
  2. 主なる 神の 御前に 沈默せよ． 主の 日は 近づいている． 主はいけにえを 用意し ／呼び 集められた 者を 屠るために 聖別された．
  3. 主のいけにえの 日が 來れば ／わたしは， 高官たちと 王の 子らを ／また， 異邦人の 服を 着たすべての 者を 罰する．
  4. その 日， わたしは 敷居を 跳び 越える 者すべてを ／主君の 家を 不法と 僞りで 滿たす 者らを 罰する．
  5. その 日が 來れば， と 主は 言われる． 魚の 門からは， 助けを 求める 聲が ／ ミシュネ 地區からは， 泣き 叫ぶ 聲が ／もろもろの 丘からは， 大きな 崩壞の 音が 起こる．
  1. And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.
  2. Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
  3. And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.
  4. In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.
  5. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
  1. マクテシュ 地區の 住民よ， 泣き 叫べ． 商人たちはすべて 滅ぼされ ／銀を 量る 者は 皆， 絶たれるからだ．
  2. そのときが 來れば ／わたしはともし 火をかざして エルサレム を 搜し ／酒のおりの 上に 凝り 固まり， 心の 中で ／「主は 幸いをも， 災いをもくだされない 」と ／言っている 者を 罰する．
  3. 彼らの 財産は 略奪され， 家は 荒れ 果てる． 彼らは 家を 建てても， 住むことができず ／ぶどう 畑を 植えても ／その 酒を 飮むことができない．
  4. 主の 大いなる 日は 近づいている． 極めて 速やかに 近づいている． 聞け， 主の 日にあがる 聲を． その 日には， 勇士も 苦しみの 叫びをあげる．
  5. その 日は 憤りの 日 ／苦しみと 惱みの 日， 荒廢と 滅亡の 日 ／闇と 暗黑の 日， 雲と 濃霧の 日である．
  1. Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.
  2. And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.
  3. Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.
  4. The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
  5. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
  1. 城壁に 圍まれた 町， 城壁の 角の 高い 塔に 向かい ／角笛が 鳴り， 勘の 聲があがる 日である．
  2. わたしは 人¿を 苦しみに 遭わせ ／目が 見えない 者のように 步かせる． 彼らが 主に 對して 罪を 犯したからだ． 彼らの 血は 塵のように ／はらわたは 糞のようにまき 散らされる．
  3. 金も 銀も 彼らを 救い 出すことはできない． 主の 憤りの 日に ／地上はくまなく 主の 熱情の 火に 燒き 盡くされる． 主は 恐るべき 破滅を ／地上に 住むすべての 者に 臨ませられる．
  1. A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.
  2. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
  3. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
 
 
  1. 共に 集まれ， 集まれ ／恥を 知らぬ 國よ
  2. 判決が 出されぬうちに． もみ 殼のように， その 日は 飛び 去る． 主の 燃える 怒りがお 前たちに 臨まぬうちに． 主の 怒りの 日がお 前たちに 臨まぬうちに．
  3. 主を 求めよ． 主の 裁きを 行い， 苦しみに 耐えてきた ／この 地のすべての 人¿よ ／惠みの 業を 求めよ， 苦しみに 耐えることを 求めよ． 主の 怒りの 日に ／あるいは， 身を 守られるであろう．
  4. まことに， ガザ は 捨てられ ／ アシュケロン は 荒れ 果てる． アシュドド は 眞¿にその 住民を 追われ ／ エクロン は 根こそぎにされる．
  5. 災いだ， 海沿いの 地に 住む 者， クレタ の 民は． 主の 言葉がお 前たちに 向けられている． カナン よ， ペリシテ 人の 地よ ／わたしはお 前を 滅ぼし ／住む 者がないようにする．
  1. Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
  2. Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD's anger come upon you.
  3. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger.
  4. For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.
  5. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
  1. 海沿いの 地は 牧場となり ／羊飼いの 井戶が 掘られ， 羊の 圍いが 造られる．
  2. その 土地は， ユダ の 家の 殘りの 者の 所有となる． その 土地で， 彼らは 羊を 飼い ／夕暮れには， アシュケロン の 家で 憩う． 主なる 神が 彼らを 顧み ／その 繁榮を 回復されるからだ．
  3. わたしは モアブ の 嘲りと ／ アンモン 人の， ののしりを 聞いた． 彼らはわが 民を 嘲り ／自分の 領土について 梶り 高ぶった．
  4. 「それゆえ， と ／ イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主は 言われる． わたしは 生きている． モアブ は 必ず ソドム のように ／ アンモン 人は ゴモラ のようになり ／とこしえに 荒れ 果て， 雜草の 茂る 所 ／鹽のくぼ 地となる． わが 民の 殘りの 者が 彼らの 地を 奪い 取り ／國の 生き 殘りの 者がそれを 受け 繼ぐ． 」
  5. このことが 彼らに 起こるのは， 彼らの 傲慢のゆえであり， 万軍の 主の 民を 嘲り， 梶り 高ぶったからだ．
  1. And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks.
  2. And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.
  3. I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
  4. Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
  5. This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.
  1. 主は 彼らに 對して 恐るべき 者として 臨まれ， 地上のすべての 神¿を 滅ぼされる． 島¿に 住む 諸國の 民も， それぞれの 地で 主にひれ 伏す．
  2. クシュ 人よ， お 前たちもまた ／わたしの 劍によって 刺し 殺される．
  3. 主はまたその 手を 北に 向かって 伸ばし ／ アッシリア を 滅ぼし， ニネベ を 荒れ 地とし ／荒れ 野のように 干上がらせられる．
  4. そこには， あらゆる ¿が ／それぞれ 群れをなして 伏す． ふくろうと 山あらしは 柱頭に 宿り ／その 聲は 窓にこだまする． 杉の 板ははがされ， 荒廢は 敷居に 及ぶ．
  5. これが， かつてにぎやかであった 都だろうか． かつて， 人¿は 安らかに 住み， 心の 中で ／「わたしだけだ． わたしのほかにだれもいない 」と 言っていた． どうして， 都は 荒れ 果て ／¿の 伏す 所となってしまったのか． ここを 通り 過ぎる 者は 皆 ／驚きのあまり， 口笛を 吹き， 手を 橫に 振る．
  1. The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.
  2. Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword.
  3. And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.
  4. And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it; their voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds; for he shall uncover the cedar work.
  5. This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.
 
 
  1. 災いだ， 反逆と 汚れに 滿ちた 暴虐の 都は．
  2. この 都は 神の 聲を 聞かず ／戒めを 受け 入れなかった． 主に 信賴せず， 神に 近づこうとしなかった．
  3. この 都の 中で， 役人たちはほえたける 獅子 ／裁判官たちは 夕暮れの 狼である． 朝になる 前に， 食らい 盡くして 何も 殘さない．
  4. 預言者たちは， 氣まぐれで 欺く 者 ／祭司たちは， 聖なるものを 汚し， 律法を 破る．
  5. 主は， 都の 中にいまして 正しく ／決して 不正を 行われない． 朝ごとに 裁きを 與え， それを 光とし ／誤りをなさることはない． 不正を 行う 者は 恥を 知らない．
  1. Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!
  2. She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.
  3. Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.
  4. Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.
  5. The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
  1. わたしは 諸國の 民を 滅ぼした． 彼らの 城壁の 塔は 破壞された． わたしは 彼らの 街路を 荒れるにまかせた． もはや， 通り 過ぎる 者もない． 彼らの 町¿は 捨てられ ／人影もなく， 住む 者もない．
  2. わたしは 思った． 「必ず， お 前はわたしを 畏れ ／戒めを 受け 入れる． わたしがどんなに 罰しても ／その 住む 所が 斷たれることはない． 」しかし， 彼らはますます 墮落を 重ね ／あらゆる 惡事を 行った．
  3. それゆえ， お 前たちはわたしが 獲物に 向かって ／立ち 上がる 日を 待つがよい， と 主は 言われる． なぜなら， わたしは 諸國の 民を 集め ／もろもろの 王國を 呼び 寄せ ／彼らの 上に， 憤りと ／激しい 怒りを 注ぐことを 定めたからだ． 必ず， 地上はくまなく ／わたしの 熱情の 火に 燒き 盡くされる．
  4. その 後， わたしは 諸國の 民に ／淸い 唇を 與える． 彼らは 皆， 主の 名を 唱え ／一つとなって 主に 仕える．
  5. クシュ の 川の 向こうから ／わたしを 禮拜する 者 ／かつてわたしが 散らした 民が ／わたしのもとに 獻げ 物を 携えて 來る．
  1. I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
  2. I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings.
  3. Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
  4. For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
  5. From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.
  1. その 日には， お 前はもはや ／わたしに 背いて 行った， いかなる 惡事のゆえにも ／辱められることはない． そのとき， わたしはお 前のうちから ／勝ち 誇る 兵士を 追い 拂う． お 前は， 再びわが 聖なる 山で ／梶り 高ぶることはない．
  2. わたしはお 前の 中に ／苦しめられ， 卑しめられた 民を 殘す． 彼らは 主の 名を 避け 所とする．
  3. イスラエル の 殘りの 者は ／不正を 行わず， 僞りを 語らない． その 口に， 欺く 舌は 見いだされない． 彼らは 養われて 憩い ／彼らを 脅かす 者はない．
  4. 娘 シオン よ， 喜び 叫べ． イスラエル よ， 歡呼の 聲をあげよ． 娘 エルサレム よ， 心の 底から 喜び 躍れ．
  5. 主はお 前に 對する 裁きを 退け ／お 前の 敵を 追い 拂われた． イスラエル の 王なる 主はお 前の 中におられる． お 前はもはや， 災いを 恐れることはない．
  1. In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
  2. I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.
  3. The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
  4. Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
  5. The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
  1. その 日， 人¿は エルサレム に 向かって 言う． 「シオン よ， 恐れるな ／力なく 手を 垂れるな．
  2. お 前の 主なる 神はお 前のただ 中におられ ／勇士であって 勝利を 與えられる． 主はお 前のゆえに 喜び 樂しみ ／愛によってお 前を 新たにし ／お 前のゆえに 喜びの 歌をもって 樂しまれる． 」
  3. わたしは ／祭りを 祝えず 苦しめられていた 者を 集める． 彼らはお 前から 遠く 離れ ／お 前の 重い 恥となっていた．
  4. 見よ， そのときわたしは ／お 前を 苦しめていたすべての 者を 滅ぼす． わたしは 足の 萎えていた 者を 救い ／追いやられていた 者を 集め ／彼らが 恥を 受けていたすべての 國で ／彼らに 譽れを 與え， その 名をあげさせる．
  5. そのとき， わたしはお 前たちを 連れ 戾す． そのとき， わたしはお 前たちを 集める． わたしが， お 前たちの 目の 前で ／お 前たちの 繁榮を 回復するとき ／わたしは， 地上のすべての 民の 中で ／お 前たちに 譽れを 與え， 名をあげさせると ／主は 言われる．
  1. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.
  2. The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
  3. I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.
  4. Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.
  5. At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.
