	스가랴 4:1-7:14 스가랴는 여덟 가지 환상 중 다섯번째로 두 감람나무 사이의 순금 등대 환상, 여섯번째로 날아가는 두루마리 환상, 일곱번째로 에바 안의 여인 환상, 그리고 마지막으로 네 병거 환상을 보았다. 이어 대제사장 여호수아의 대관식을 거행하라는 하나님의 명령이 임했는데, 이는 여덟 가지 환상 중에 예표된 ‘순’과 마찬가지로 메시아를 상징하는 것이었다. 금식 제도가 계속 시행되어야 하는지의 여부를 묻는 벧엘 사람들의 질문에 대해 스가랴는 하나님의 답변을 전하였다.

	환상들과 금식(4:1-7:14)

わたしに語りかけた御使いが戾って來て，わたしを起こした．わたしは眠りから ¿り起こされた者のようであった．

彼はわたしに，「何を見ていたのか」と尋ねたので，わたしは答えた．「わたしが見ていたのは，すべてが金でできた燭台で，頭部には容器が置かれていました．その上に七つのともし火皿が付けられており，頭部に置かれているともし火皿には七つの管が付いていました．

その傍らに二本のオリ ― ブの木があり，一つは容器の右に，一つは左に立っていました．」

わたしは言葉をついで，わたしに語りかけた御使いに言った．「主よ，これは何でしょうか．」

わたしに語りかけた御使いは答えて，「これが何か分からないのか」と言ったので，わたしが「主よ，分かりません」と言うと，

And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

彼は答えて，わたしに言った．「これがゼルバベルに向けられた主の言葉である．武力によらず，權力によらず／ただわが靈によって，と万軍の主は言われる．

大いなる山よ，お前は何者か／ゼルバベルの前では平らにされる．彼が親石を取り出せば／見事，見事と叫びがあがる．」

また主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ．

「ゼルバベルの手がこの家の基を据えた．彼自身の手がそれを完成するであろう．こうして，あなたは万軍の主がわたしを／あなたたちに遣わされたことを知るようになる．

誰が初めのささやかな日をさげすむのか．ゼルバベルの手にある選び拔かれた石を見て／喜び祝うべきである．その七つのものは，地上をくまなく見回る主の御目である．」

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

わたしは言葉をついで御使いに尋ねた．「燭台の右と左にある，これら二本のオリ ― ブの木は何ですか．」

わたしは重ねて彼に尋ねた．「その二本のオリ ― ブの木の枝先は何ですか．それは二本の金の管によって，そこから油を注ぎ出しています．」

彼がわたしに，「これが何か分からないのか」と言ったので，わたしは「主よ，分かりません」と答えると，

彼は，「これは全地の主の御前に立つ，二人の油注がれた人たちである」と言った．

Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

わたしが再び目を留めて見ると，一つの卷物が飛んでいた．

御使いがわたしに，「何を見ているのか」と尋ねたので，わたしは答えた．「卷物が飛んでいるのが見えます．その長さは二十アンマ，幅は十アンマです．」

彼はわたしに言った．「これは全地に向かって出て行く呪いである．すべての盜人はその一方の面に記されている呪いに從って一掃される．また僞って誓う者も，他の面の呪いに從って一掃される．」

わたしがこれを送り出す，と万軍の主は言われる．それは盜人の家に／わが名によって僞りの誓いをする者の家に入り／その家の中に宿り／梁も石ももろともに滅ぼし盡くす．

わたしに語りかけた御使いが現れ，わたしに言った．「目を留めて，そこに出て來るものが何であるか，よく見るがよい．」

Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

わたしが，「それは何ですか」と尋ねると，彼は，「そこに出て來たのはエファ升である」と答え，「それは全地を見る彼らの目である」と言った．

鉛の円盤が取り除かれると，エファ升の中に一人の女が座っていた．

彼は，「それは邪惡そのものである」と言って，かの女をエファ升の中に投げ返し，エファ升の口に鉛の重しを置いた．

わたしが目を留めて見ると，二人の女が翼に風を受けて出て來た．かの女たちはこうのとりの翼のような翼を持ち，地と天の間でエファ升を運び去ろうとしていた．

わたしに語りかけた御使いに，「かの女たちはどこにエファ升を持って行こうとしているのですか」と尋ねると，

And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

彼はわたしに答えた．「かの女のため，シンアルの地に神殿を築こうとしているのだ．神殿が整えられると，その地に備えられた場所に置かれるはずだ．」

And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

わたしが再び目を留めて見ると，四兩の戰車が二つの山の間から出て來た．その山は靑銅の山であった．

最初の戰車には赤毛の馬數頭，二番目の戰車には黑い馬數頭，

三番目の戰車には白い馬數頭，四番目の戰車にはまだらの强い馬數頭がつけられていた．

わたしは言葉をついで，わたしに語りかけた御使いに，「主よ，これは何ですか」と尋ねると，

御使いはわたしに言った．「これは天の四方に向かう風で，全地の主の御前に立った後に出て行くものである．

And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;

And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.

Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?

And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the LORD of all the earth.

その中の黑い馬は北の國に向かって出て行き，白い馬は西の方へ出て行き，まだらの馬は南の國に向かって出て行く．」

强い馬も出て來て，今にも飛び出して地上を行き巡ろうとしていたところ，彼が，「さあ地上を行き巡れ」と命じたので，彼らは地上を行き巡った．

彼はわたしに叫びながら言った．「よく見るがよい．北の國に向かって出て行ったものが，わが靈を北の國にとどまらせた．」

主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ．

「歸還した捕囚の中から，ヘルダイ，トビヤ，エダヤの家族から，贈り物を受け取りなさい．あなたはその日のうちに，ツェファンヤの子ヨシヤの家に入りなさい．彼らはバビロンから歸ったばかりである．

The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.

And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.

Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;

銀と金を受け取り，冠をつくり，それをヨツァダクの子，大祭司ヨシュアの頭に載せて，

宣言しなさい．万軍の主はこう言われる．見よ，これが『若枝』という名の人である．その足もとから若枝が萌えいでる．彼は主の神殿を建て直す．

彼こそ主の神殿を建て直し／威光をまとい，王座に座して治める．その王座の傍らに祭司がいて／平和の計畵が二人の間に生ずる．

冠はヘレム，トビヤ，エダヤ，およびツェファンヤの子の好意を記念するものとして，主の神殿に置かれる．

遠方からも人¿が來て，主の神殿の建築に携わる．」こうして，あなたたちがひたすらあなたたちの神である主の聲に聞き從うなら，万軍の主がわたしをあなたたちに遣わされたことを知るようになる．

Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;

And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:

Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD.

And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

ダレイオス王の第四年になって，主の言葉がゼカリヤに臨んだ．それは九月，キスレウの月の四日のことであった．

ベテルはサル · エツェルとレゲム · メレクおよび彼の從者たちを遣わして，主の惠みを求めさせ，

また万軍の主の神殿の祭司たち，および預言者たちに次のような質問をさせた．「わたしは，長年實行してきたように，五月には節制して悲しみのときを持つべきでしょうか．」

そのとき，万軍の主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ．

「國の民すべてに言いなさい．また祭司たちにも言いなさい．五月にも，七月にも／あなたたちは斷食し，嘆き悲しんできた．こうして七十年にもなるが／果たして，眞にわたしのために斷食してきたか．

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,

And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,

Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

あなたたちは食べるにしても飮むにしても，ただあなたたち自身のために食べたり飮んだりしてきただけではないか．

エルサレムとその周りの町¿に人が住み，平穩であり，ネゲブにもシェフェラにも人が住んでいたころ，主が先の預言者たちによって呼びかけられた言葉を知らないのか．」

そのとき，主の言葉がゼカリヤに臨んだ．

「万軍の主はこう言われる．正義と眞理に基づいて裁き／互いにいたわり合い，憐れみ深くあり

やもめ，みなしご／寄留者，貧しい者らを虐げず／互いに災いを心にたくらんではならない．」

And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

ところが，彼らは耳を傾けることを拒み，かたくなに背を向け，耳を鈍くして聞こうとせず，

心を石のように硬くして，万軍の主がその靈によって，先の預言者たちを通して與えられた律法と言葉を聞こうとしなかった．こうして万軍の主の怒りは激しく燃えた．

「わたしが呼びかけても彼らが聞かなかったように，彼らが呼びかけても，わたしは聞かない」と万軍の主は言われる．

「わたしは彼らを，彼らの知らなかったあらゆる國に散らした．その後に，地は荒れ果て，行き來する者もなくなった．彼らは喜びの地を荒廢に歸させた．」

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
