말라기

  포로기 이후 이스라엘 백성들은 영적, 물질적으로 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 귀환 후 성전이 재건되었지만, 귀환할 때의 기대처럼 영광스러운 하나님의 나라가 이룩되지 않는 데 대한 실망과 회의로 인하여 사회적으로 냉소주의와 불신앙이 팽배하게 되었다. 제사장들은 타락하고, 십일조와 헌물을 소홀하게 여겼으며, 이방 여인과 결혼함으로써 결혼에 대한 계약을 범했다. 이에 말라기는 종교적 부흥을 일으키기 위해 이스라엘 백성들의 불경건한 신앙을 집중적으로 책망하면서, 하나님의 심판을 경고하고 참다운 회개를 촉구하고 있다.

  말라기는 이스라엘을 향한 하나님의 무조건적인 사랑을 증거한 후, 이러한 하나님의 사랑을 배반하고 타락한 이스라엘을 책망하고 하나님의 심판을 경고하고 있다. 또한 심판의 날이 이르기 전에 엘리야와 같은 선지자, 즉 세례 요한이 주의 길을 예비할 것임을 예언하고 있다.

 

 

말라기 1:1-2:17

 말라기는 무한한 하나님의 사랑을 의심하고 죄에 빠진 이스라엘을 향해 하나님의 책망을 전하였다. 그는 영적 지도자로서의 본분을 다하지 않고 흠 있는 제물로 형식적인 제사를 드리는 제사장들의 죄악을 지적하면서 이들에 대한 하나님의 저주의 심판을 선포하였다. 이어 이혼이나 이방 여인과의 통혼을 즐겨 하고 공의의 하나님을 의심하는 이스라엘 백성들의 죄를 지적하였다.
  
  이스라엘의 죄(1:1-2:17)    
 
  1. 託宣． マラキ によって イスラエル に 臨んだ 主の 言葉．
  2. わたしはあなたたちを 愛してきたと ／主は 言われる． しかし， あなたたちは 言う ／どのように 愛を 示してくださったのか， と． エサウ は ヤコブ の 兄ではないかと ／主は 言われる． しかし， わたしは ヤコブ を 愛し
  3. エサウ を 憎んだ． わたしは 彼の 山を 荒廢させ ／彼の 嗣業を 荒れ 野の ジャッカル のものとした．
  4. たとえ エドム が， 我¿は 打ちのめされたが ／廢虛を 建て 直す， と 言っても ／万軍の 主はこう 言われる ／たとえ， 彼らが 建て 直しても ／わたしはそれを 破壞する， と． 人¿はそれを 惡の 領域と 呼び ／とこしえに， 主の 怒りを 受けた 民と 呼ぶ．

  2. I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
  3. And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
  4. Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
  5. And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.
  1. 子は 父を， 僕は 主人を 敬うものだ． しかし， わたしが 父であるなら ／わたしに 對する 尊敬はどこにあるのか． わたしが 主人であるなら ／わたしに 對する 畏れはどこにあるのかと ／万軍の 主はあなたたちに 言われる． わたしの 名を 輕んずる 祭司たちよ ／あなたたちは 言う ／我¿はどのようにして 御名を 輕んじましたか， と．
  2. あなたたちは， わたしの 祭壇に ／汚れた パン をささげておきながら ／我¿はどのようにして ／あなたを 汚しましたか， と 言う． しかも， あなたたちは ／主の 食卓は 輕んじられてもよい， と 言う．
  3. あなたたちが 目のつぶれた 動物を ／いけにえとしてささげても， 惡ではないのか． 足が 傷ついたり， 病氣である 動物をささげても ／惡ではないのか． それを 總督に 獻上してみよ． 彼はあなたを 喜び， 受け 入れるだろうかと ／万軍の 主は 言われる．
  4. 今， 神が 惠みを 與えられるよう ／ひたすら 神に 赦しを 願うがよい． これは， あなたたちが 自ら 行ったことだ． 神はあなたたちの 誰かを ／受け 入れてくださるだろうかと ／万軍の 主は 言われる．
  5. あなたたちのうち 誰か， わが 祭壇に ／いたずらに 火が 点じられることがないよう ／戶を 閉じる 者はいないのか． わたしはあなたたちを 喜ぶことはできないと ／万軍の 主は 言われる． わたしは 獻げ 物をあなたたちの 手から ／受け 入れはしない．
  1. A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
  2. Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
  3. And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
  4. And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
  5. Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
  1. 日の 出る 所から 日の 入る 所まで， 諸國の 間でわが 名はあがめられ， 至るところでわが 名のために 香がたかれ， 淸い 獻げ 物がささげられている． わが 名は 諸國の 間であがめられているからだ， と 万軍の 主は 言われる．
  2. それなのに， あなたたちは 主の 食卓は 汚されてもよい， その 食卓の 果實は 食物として 輕んじられてもよいと 言って， 御名を 冒瀆している．
  3. また， なんと 煩わしいことかと 言って， わたしをさげすんでいる， と 万軍の 主は 言われる． あなたたちが 盜んできた 動物， 足の 傷ついた 動物， 病氣の 動物などを 獻げ 物として 携えてきているのに， わたしはあなたたちの 手からそれを 快く 受け 入れうるだろうか， と 主は 言われる．
  4. 群れの 中に 傷のない 雄の 動物を 持っており， それをささげると 誓いながら， 傷のあるものを 主にささげる 僞り 者は 呪われよ． わたしは 大いなる 王で， わたしの 名は 諸國の 間で 畏れられている， と 万軍の 主は 言われる．
  1. For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
  2. But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
  3. Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.
  4. But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
 
 
  1. 祭司たちよ， 今あなたたちにこの 命令が 下される．
  2. もし， あなたたちがこれを 聞かず， 心に 留めず， わたしの 名に 榮光を 歸さないなら， と 万軍の 主は 言われる． わたしはあなたたちに 呪いを 送り， 祝福を 呪いに 變える． いや 旣に 呪いに 變えてしまった． これを 心に 留める 者があなたたちの 間に 一人もいなかったからだ．
  3. 見よ， わたしはあなたたちの 子孫を 脅かし ／あなたたちの 顔に 汚物を 浴びせる． それは 祭りの ¿牲の 捨てられたものだ． あなたたちは， その 上に 投げ 捨てられる．
  4. そのとき， あなたたちは 知るようになる． わたしがこの 命令を 下したのは ／ レビ と 結んだわが 契約を ／保つためであったことをと ／万軍の 主が 言われた．
  5. レビ と 結んだわが 契約は 命と 平和のためであり ／わたしはそれらを 彼に 與えた． それは 畏れをもたらす 契約であり ／彼はわたしを 畏れ， わが 名のゆえにおののいた．
  1. And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
  2. If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
  3. Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
  4. And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
  5. My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
  1. 眞理の 敎えが 彼の 口にあり ／その 唇に 僞りは 見いだされなかった． 彼は 平和と 正しさのうちに， わたしと 共に 步み ／多くの 人¿を 罪から 立ち 歸らせた．
  2. 祭司の 唇は 知識を 守り ／人¿は 彼の 口から 敎えを 求める． 彼こそ 万軍の 主の 使者である．
  3. だが， あなたたちは 道を 踏みはずし ／敎えによって 多くの 人をつまずかせ ／ レビ との 契約を 破棄してしまったと ／万軍の 主は 言われる．
  4. わたしも， あなたたちを ／民のすべてに 輕んじられる 價値なき 者とした． あなたたちがわたしの 道を 守らず ／人を 偏り 見つつ 敎えたからだ．
  5. 我¿は 皆， 唯一の 父を 持っているではないか． 我¿を 創造されたのは 唯一の 神ではないか． なぜ， 兄弟が 互いに 裏切り ／我¿の 先祖の 契約を 汚すのか．
  1. The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
  2. For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
  3. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
  4. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
  5. Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
  1. ユダ は 裏切り ／ イスラエル と エルサレム では ／忌まわしいことが 行われている． まことに， ユダ は 主が 慈しんでおられる 聖なるものを 汚し， 異敎の 神を 信じる 娘をめとっている．

  1. Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
  2. The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.
  3. And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
  4. Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
  5. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
  1. わたしは 離婚を 憎むと ／ イスラエル の 神， 主は 言われる． 離婚する 人は， 不法でその 上着を 覆っていると ／万軍の 主は 言われる． あなたたちは 自分の 靈に 氣をつけるがよい． あなたたちは 裏切ってはならない．
  2. あなたたちは， 自分の 語る 言葉によって ／主を 疲れさせている． それなのに， あなたたちは 言う ／どのように 疲れさせたのですか， と． あなたたちが ／惡を 行う 者はすべて， 主の 目に 良しとされるとか ／主は 彼らを 喜ばれるとか ／裁きの 神はどこにおられるのか， などと ／言うことによってである．
  1. For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
  2. Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
