창세기 11:1-12:20

인간들이 흩어짐을 면하고 온 땅에 이름을 내기 위하여 탑을 쌓자, 하나님께서는 언어를 혼잡케 하심으로 그들을 사방으로 흩어지게 하셨다. 하나님께서는 아브람을 부르셔서 복의 근원으로 삼으실 것을 약속하시고 지시할 땅으로 가라고 하셨다. 아브람은 이에 순종하여 가나안으로 이주하였으나 그곳에 기근이 심하게 들자 애굽으로 내려갔다. 그러나 그곳에서 더 큰 어려움을 당하였다.
 
  바벨탑 사건(11:1-11:32)    
 
  1. 世界中は 同じ 言葉を 使って, 同じように 話していた.
  2. 東の 方から 移動してきた 人¿は, シンアル の 地に 平野を 見つけ, そこに 住み 着いた.
  3. 彼らは, 「れんがを 作り, それをよく 燒こう 」と 話し 合った. 石の 代わりにれんがを, しっくいの 代わりに アスファルト を 用いた.
  4. 彼らは, 「さあ, 天まで 屆く のある 町を 建て, 有名になろう. そして, 全地に 散らされることのないようにしよう 」と 言った.
  5. 主は 降って 來て, 人の 子らが 建てた, のあるこの 町を 見て,
  1. Now the whole earth used the same language and the same words.
  2. It came about as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there.
  3. They said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly." And they used brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar.
  4. They said, "Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name, otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."
  5. The LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.
  1. 言われた. 「彼らは 一つの 民で, 皆一つの 言葉を 話しているから, このようなことをし 始めたのだ. これでは, 彼らが 何を 企てても, 妨げることはできない.
  2. 我¿は 降って 行って, 直ちに 彼らの 言葉を 混亂させ, 互いの 言葉が 聞き 分けられぬようにしてしまおう. 」
  3. 主は 彼らをそこから 全地に 散らされたので, 彼らはこの 町の 建設をやめた.
  4. こういうわけで, この 町の 名は バベル と 呼ばれた. 主がそこで 全地の 言葉を 混亂(バラル )させ, また, 主がそこから 彼らを 全地に 散らされたからである.
  5. セム の 系圖は 次のとおりである. セム が 百歲になったとき, アルパクシャド が 生まれた. それは 洪水の 二年後のことであった.
  1. The LORD said, "Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.
  2. "Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another's speech."
  3. So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city.
  4. Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth.
  5. These are the records of the generations of Shem. Shem was one hundred years old, and became the father of Arpachshad two years after the flood;
  1. セム は, アルパクシャド が 生まれた 後五百年生きて, 息子や 娘をもうけた.
  2. アルパクシャド が 三十五歲になったとき, シェラ が 生まれた.
  3. アルパクシャド は, シェラ が 生まれた 後四百三年生きて, 息子や 娘をもうけた.
  4. シェラ が 三十歲になったとき, エベル が 生まれた.
  5. シェラ は, エベル が 生まれた 後四百三年生きて, 息子や 娘をもうけた.
  1. and Shem lived five hundred years after he became the father of Arpachshad, and he had other sons and daughters.
  2. Arpachshad lived thirty-five years, and became the father of Shelah;
  3. and Arpachshad lived four hundred and three years after he became the father of Shelah, and he had other sons and daughters.
  4. Shelah lived thirty years, and became the father of Eber;
  5. and Shelah lived four hundred and three years after he became the father of Eber, and he had other sons and daughters.
  1. エベル が 三十四歲になったとき, ペレグ が 生まれた.
  2. エベル は, ペレグ が 生まれた 後四百三十年生きて, 息子や 娘をもうけた.
  3. ペレグ が 三十歲になったとき, レウ が 生まれた.
  4. ペレグ は, レウ が 生まれた 後二百九年生きて, 息子や 娘をもうけた.
  5. レウ が 三十二歲になったとき, セルグ が 生まれた.
  1. Eber lived thirty-four years, and became the father of Peleg;
  2. and Eber lived four hundred and thirty years after he became the father of Peleg, and he had other sons and daughters.
  3. Peleg lived thirty years, and became the father of Reu;
  4. and Peleg lived two hundred and nine years after he became the father of Reu, and he had other sons and daughters.
  5. Reu lived thirty-two years, and became the father of Serug;
  1. レウ は, セルグ が 生まれた 後二百七年生きて, 息子や 娘をもうけた.
  2. セルグ が 三十歲になったとき, ナホル が 生まれた.
  3. セルグ は, ナホル が 生まれた 後二百年生きて, 息子や 娘をもうけた.
  4. ナホル が 二十九歲になったとき, テラ が 生まれた.
  5. ナホル は, テラ が 生まれた 後百十九年生きて, 息子や 娘をもうけた.
  1. and Reu lived two hundred and seven years after he became the father of Serug, and he had other sons and daughters.
  2. Serug lived thirty years, and became the father of Nahor;
  3. and Serug lived two hundred years after he became the father of Nahor, and he had other sons and daughters.
  4. Nahor lived twenty-nine years, and became the father of Terah;
  5. and Nahor lived one hundred and nineteen years after he became the father of Terah, and he had other sons and daughters.
  1. テラ が 七十歲になったとき, アブラム , ナホル , ハラン が 生まれた.
  2. テラ の 系圖は 次のとおりである. テラ には アブラム , ナホル , ハラン が 生まれた. ハラン には ロト が 生まれた.
  3. ハラン は 父の テラ より 先に, 故鄕 カルデア の ウル で 死んだ.
  4. アブラム と ナホル はそれぞれ 妻をめとった. アブラム の 妻の 名は サライ , ナホル の 妻の 名は ミルカ といった. ミルカ は ハラン の 娘である. ハラン は ミルカ と イスカ の 父であった.
  5. サライ は 不妊の 女で, 子供ができなかった.
  1. Terah lived seventy years, and became the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran.
  2. Now these are the records of the generations of Terah. Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran; and Haran became the father of Lot.
  3. Haran died in the presence of his father Terah in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans.
  4. Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves The name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah and Iscah.
  5. Sarai was barren; she had no child.
  1. テラ は, 息子 アブラム と, ハラン の 息子で 自分の 孫である ロト , および 息子 アブラム の 妻で 自分の 嫁である サライ を 連れて, カルデア の ウル を 出發し, カナン 地方に 向かった. 彼らは ハラン まで 來ると, そこにとどまった.
  2. テラ は 二百五年の 生涯を 終えて, ハラン で 死んだ.
  1. Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife; and they went out together from Ur of the Chaldeans in order to enter the land of Canaan; and they went as far as Haran, and settled there.
  2. The days of Terah were two hundred and five years; and Terah died in Haran.
 
  아브람의 소명(12:1-12:20)    
 
  1. 主は アブラム に 言われた. 「あなたは 生まれ 故鄕 /父の 家を 離れて /わたしが 示す 地に 行きなさい.
  2. わたしはあなたを 大いなる 國民にし /あなたを 祝福し, あなたの 名を 高める /祝福の 源となるように.
  3. あなたを 祝福する 人をわたしは 祝福し /あなたを 呪う 者をわたしは 呪う. 地上の 氏族はすべて /あなたによって 祝福に 入る. 」
  4. アブラム は, 主の 言葉に 從って 旅立った. ロト も 共に 行った. アブラム は, ハラン を 出發したとき 七十五歲であった.
  5. アブラム は 妻の サライ , 甥の ロト を 連れ, 蓄えた 財産をすべて 携え, ハラン で 加わった 人¿と 共に カナン 地方へ 向かって 出發し, カナン 地方に 入った.
  1. Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father's house, To the land which I will show you;
  2. And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing;
  3. And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."
  4. So Abram went forth as the LORD had spoken to him; and Lot went with him. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.
  5. Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his nephew, and all their possessions which they had accumulated, and the persons which they had acquired in Haran, and they set out for the land of Canaan; thus they came to the land of Canaan.
  1. アブラム はその 地を 通り, シケム の 聖所, モレ の ¿の 木まで 來た. 當時, その 地方には カナン 人が 住んでいた.
  2. 主は アブラム に 現れて, 言われた. 「あなたの 子孫にこの 土地を 與える. 」 アブラム は, 彼に 現れた 主のために, そこに 祭壇を 築いた.
  3. アブラム は, そこから ベテル の 東の 山へ 移り, 西に ベテル , 東に アイ を 望む 所に 天幕を 張って, そこにも 主のために 祭壇を 築き, 主の 御名を 呼んだ.
  4. アブラム は に 旅を 續け, ネゲブ 地方へ 移った.
  5. その 地方に 飢鴨があった. アブラム は, その 地方の 飢鴨がひどかったので, エジプト に 下り, そこに 滯在することにした.
  1. Abram passed through the land as far as the site of Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. Now the Canaanite was then in the land.
  2. The LORD appeared to Abram and said, "To your descendants I will give this land " So he built an altar there to the LORD who had appeared to him.
  3. Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the LORD and called upon the name of the LORD.
  4. Abram journeyed on, continuing toward the Negev.
  5. Now there was a famine in the land; so Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.
  1. エジプト に 入ろうとしたとき, 妻 サライ に 言った. 「あなたが 美しいのを, わたしはよく 知っている.
  2. エジプト 人があなたを 見たら, 『この 女はあの 男の 妻だ 』と 言って, わたしを 殺し, あなたを 生かしておくにちがいない.
  3. どうか, わたしの 妹だ, と 言ってください. そうすれば, わたしはあなたのゆえに 幸いになり, あなたのお 陰で 命も 助かるだろう. 」
  4. アブラム が エジプト に 入ると, エジプト 人は サライ を 見て, 大變美しいと 思った.
  5. ファラオ の 家臣たちも 彼女を 見て, ファラオ に 彼女のことを 褒めたので, サライ は ファラオ の 宮廷に 召し 入れられた.
  1. It came about when he came near to Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, "See now, I know that you are a beautiful woman;
  2. and when the Egyptians see you, they will say, 'This is his wife'; and they will kill me, but they will let you live.
  3. "Please say that you are my sister so that it may go well with me because of you, and that I may live on account of you."
  4. It came about when Abram came into Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.
  5. Pharaoh's officials saw her and praised her to Pharaoh; and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.
  1. アブラム も 彼女のゆえに 幸いを 受け, 羊の 群れ, 牛の 群れ, ろば, 男女の 奴隷, 雌ろば, らくだなどを 與えられた.
  2. ところが 主は, アブラム の 妻 サライ のことで, ファラオ と 宮廷の 人¿を 恐ろしい 病氣にかからせた.
  3. ファラオ は アブラム を 呼び 寄せて 言った. 「あなたはわたしに 何ということをしたのか. なぜ, あの 婦人は 自分の 妻だと, 言わなかったのか.
  4. なぜ, 『わたしの 妹です 』などと 言ったのか. だからこそ, わたしの 妻として 召し 入れたのだ. さあ, あなたの 妻を 連れて, 立ち 去ってもらいたい. 」
  5. ファラオ は 家來たちに 命じて, アブラム を, その 妻とすべての 持ち 物と 共に 送り 出させた.
  1. Therefore he treated Abram well for her sake; and gave him sheep and oxen and donkeys and male and female servants and female donkeys and camels.
  2. But the LORD struck Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife.
  3. Then Pharaoh called Abram and said, "What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?
  4. "Why did you say, 'She is my sister,' so that I took her for my wife? Now then, here is your wife, take her and go."
  5. Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him; and they escorted him away, with his wife and all that belonged to him.
