- イエス が 山を 下りられると， 大勢の 群衆が 從った．
- すると， 一人のらい 病を 患っている 人が イエス に 近寄り， ひれ 伏して， 「主よ， 御心ならば， わたしを 淸くすることがおできになります 」と 言った．
- イエス が 手を 差し 伸べてその 人に 觸れ， 「よろしい． 淸くなれ 」と 言われると， たちまち， らい 病は 淸くなった．
- イエス はその 人に 言われた． 「だれにも 話さないように 氣をつけなさい． ただ， 行って 祭司に 體を 見せ， モ ― セ が 定めた 供え 物を 獻げて， 人¿に 證明しなさい． 」
- さて， イエス が カファルナウム に 入られると， 一人の 百人隊長が 近づいて 來て 懇願し，

- When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
- And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
- Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
- And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
- And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him,

- 「主よ， わたしの 僕が 中風で 家に 寢¿んで， ひどく 苦しんでいます 」と 言った．
- そこで イエス は， 「わたしが 行って， いやしてあげよう 」と 言われた．
- すると， 百人隊長は 答えた． 「主よ， わたしはあなたを 自分の 屋根の 下にお 迎えできるような 者ではありません． ただ， ひと 言おっしゃってください． そうすれば， わたしの 僕はいやされます．
- わたしも 權威の 下にある 者ですが， わたしの 下には 兵隊がおり， 一人に『行け 』と 言えば 行きますし， 他の 一人に『來い 』と 言えば 來ます． また， 部下に『これをしろ 』と 言えば， そのとおりにします． 」
- イエス はこれを 聞いて 感心し， 從っていた 人¿に 言われた． 「はっきり 言っておく． イスラエル の 中でさえ， わたしはこれほどの 信仰を 見たことがない．

- and saying, "Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented."
- Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
- But the centurion said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
- "For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."
- Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, "Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.

- 言っておくが， いつか， 東や 西から 大勢の 人が 來て， 天の 國で アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ と 共に 宴會の 席に 着く．
- だが， 御國の 子らは， 外の 暗闇に 追い 出される． そこで 泣きわめいて 齒ぎしりするだろう． 」
- そして， 百人隊長に 言われた． 「歸りなさい． あなたが 信じたとおりになるように． 」ちょうどそのとき， 僕の 病氣はいやされた．
- イエス は ペトロ の 家に 行き， そのしゅうとめが 熱を 出して 寢¿んでいるのを 御覽になった．
- イエス がその 手に 觸れられると， 熱は 去り， しゅうとめは 起き 上がって イエス をもてなした．

- "I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;
- but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
- And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed that very moment.
- When Jesus came into Peter's home, He saw his mother-in-law lying sick in bed with a fever.
- He touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up and waited on Him.

- 夕方になると， 人¿は 惡靈に 取りつかれた 者を 大勢連れて 來た． イエス は 言葉で 惡靈を 追い 出し， 病人を 皆いやされた．
- それは， 預言者 イザヤ を 通して 言われていたことが 實現するためであった． 「彼はわたしたちの 患いを 負い， ／わたしたちの 病を 擔った． 」
- イエス は， 自分を 取り 圍んでいる 群衆を 見て， 弟子たちに 向こう 岸に 行くように 命じられた．
- そのとき， ある 律法學者が 近づいて， 「先生， あなたがおいでになる 所なら， どこへでも 從って 參ります 」と 言った．
- イエス は 言われた． 「狐には 穴があり， 空の 鳥には 巢がある． だが， 人の 子には 枕する 所もない． 」

- When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.
- This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: "HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES."
- Now when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, He gave orders to depart to the other side of the sea.
- Then a scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."
- Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."

- ほかに， 弟子の 一人が イエス に， 「主よ， まず， 父を 葬りに 行かせてください 」と 言った．
- イエス は 言われた． 「わたしに 從いなさい． 死んでいる 者たちに， 自分たちの 死者を 葬らせなさい． 」
|
- Another of the disciples said to Him, "Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father."
- But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead."
