민수기 16:12-17:13

 고라와 다단, 아비람, 온, 그리고 250명의 지도자들이 당을 지어 출애굽 자체를 악평하고 가나안 입성의 실패에 대한 책임을 모세와 아론에게 전가하며 반역을 일으켰다. 이에 하나님께서는 그들을 준엄하게 심판하셨다. 그리고 아론의 마른 지팡이에 싹이 나는 기적을 행하심으로써 아론의 제사장직의 정당성을 확증하셨다.
  
  고라 일당의 반역(16:12-16:50)    
 
  1. モ ― セ は 人をやって， エリアブ の 子である ダタン と アビラム を 呼び 寄せようとしたが， 彼らは 言った． 「我¿は 行かない．
  2. あなたは 我¿を 乳と 蜜の 流れる 土地から 導き 上って， この 荒れ 野で 死なせるだけでは 不足なのか． 我¿の 上に 君臨したいのか．
  3. あなたは 我¿を 乳と 蜜の 流れる 土地に 導き 入れもせず， 畑もぶどう 畑も 我¿の 嗣業としてくれない． あなたはこの 人¿の 目をえぐり 出すつもりなのか． 我¿は 行かない． 」
  4. モ ― セ は 激しく 憤って 主に 言った． 「彼らの 獻げ 物を 顧みないでください． わたしは 彼らから 一頭のろばも 取ったことはなく， だれをも 苦しめたことはありません． 」
  5. モ ― セ は コラ に 言った． 「明日， あなたとあなたの 仲間すべて， すなわち， あなたも 彼らも， アロン と 共に 主の 御前に 出なさい．
  1. Then Moses sent a summons to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; but they said, "We will not come up.
  2. "Is it not enough that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey to have us die in the wilderness, but you would also lord it over us?
  3. "Indeed, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor have you given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards Would you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up!"
  4. Then Moses became very angry and said to the LORD, "Do not regard their offering! I have not taken a single donkey from them, nor have I done harm to any of them."
  5. Moses said to Korah, "You and all your company be present before the LORD tomorrow, both you and they along with Aaron.
  1. あなたたちは， おのおの 香爐を 取り， それに 香を 載せ， 主の 御前に 持って 來なさい． おのおの 一つずつ， 二百五十の 香爐を 持ち， あなたも アロン もそれぞれ 自分の 香爐を 持って 來なさい． 」
  2. 彼らはおのおの 香爐を 取り， それに 炭火を 入れ， 香を 載せ， モ ― セ と アロン と 共に 臨在の 幕屋の 入り 口に 立った．
  3. コラ は 共同體全體を 集め， 臨在の 幕屋の 入り 口で モ ― セ と アロン に 相 짖�� ⓦ 棹 ㄲ�留標� ㅥ齬站溢 튕簾 ㄵ咽 휘學兩忍め 察 밤淘
  4. 主は モ ― セ と アロン に 仰せになった．
  5. 「この 共同體と 分かれて 立ちなさい． わたしは 直ちに 彼らを 滅ぼす． 」
  1. "Each of you take his firepan and put incense on it, and each of you bring his censer before the LORD, two hundred and fifty firepans; also you and Aaron shall each bring his firepan."
  2. So they each took his own censer and put fire on it, and laid incense on it; and they stood at the doorway of the tent of meeting, with Moses and Aaron.
  3. Thus Korah assembled all the congregation against them at the doorway of the tent of meeting. And the glory of the LORD appeared to all the congregation.
  4. Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
  5. "Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly."
  1. 彼らはひれ 伏して 言った． 「神よ， すべて 肉なるものに 靈を 與えられる 神よ． あなたは， 一人が 罪を 犯すと， 共同體全體に 怒りを 下されるのですか． 」
  2. 主は モ ― セ に 仰せになった．
  3. 「コラ ， ダタン ， アビラム の 住まいの 周りから 離れるよう， 共同體に 告げなさい． 」
  4. モ ― セ は 立ち 上がり， ダタン と アビラム のところに 向かった． イスラエル の 長老たちもついて 行った．
  5. 彼は 共同體に 言った． 「この 神に 逆らう 者どもの 天幕から 離れなさい． 彼らの 持ち 物には 一切觸れてはならない． さもないと， 彼らの 罪のために， あなたたちは 滅びる． 」
  1. But they fell on their faces and said, "O God, God of the spirits of all flesh, when one man sins, will You be angry with the entire congregation?"
  2. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  3. "Speak to the congregation, saying, 'Get back from around the dwellings of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.'"
  4. Then Moses arose and went to Dathan and Abiram, with the elders of Israel following him,
  5. and he spoke to the congregation, saying, "Depart now from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing that belongs to them, or you will be swept away in all their sin."
  1. 彼らは コラ ， ダタン ， アビラム の 住まいから 離れた． ダタン と アビラム は， 妻子， 幼兒と 一緖に 出て 來て， 天幕の 入り 口に 立った．
  2. モ ― セ は 言った． 「主がわたしを 遣わして， これらすべてのことをさせられたので， わたしが 自分勝手にしたのではない． それは 次のことで 分かるであろう．
  3. もしこの 者たちが 人の 普通の 死に 方で 死に， 人の 普通の 運命に 會うならば， 主がわたしを 遣わされたのではない．
  4. だが， もし 主が 新しいことを 創始されて， 大地が 口を 開き， 彼らと 彼らに 屬するものすべてを 呑み ¿み， 彼らが 生きたまま 陰府に 落ちるならば， この 者たちが 主をないがしろにしたことをあなたたちは 知るであろう． 」
  5. こう 語り 終えるやいなや， 彼らの 足もとの 大地が 裂けた．
  1. So they got back from around the dwellings of Korah, Dathan and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the doorway of their tents, along with their wives and their sons and their little ones.
  2. Moses said, "By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these deeds; for this is not my doing.
  3. "If these men die the death of all men or if they suffer the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me.
  4. "But if the LORD brings about an entirely new thing and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that is theirs, and they descend alive into Sheol, then you will understand that these men have spurned the LORD."
  5. As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split open;
  1. 地は 口を 開き， 彼らと コラ の 仲間たち， その 持ち 物一切を， 家もろとも 呑み ¿んだ．
  2. 彼らと 彼らに 屬するものはすべて， 生きたまま， 陰府へ 落ち， 地がそれを 覆った． 彼らはこうして， 會衆の 間から 滅び 去った．
  3. 彼らの 周りにいた 全 イスラエル は， 彼らの 叫び 聲を 聞いて， 大地に 呑み ¿まれることのないようにと 言って 逃げた．
  4. また 火が 主のもとから 出て， 香をささげた 二百五十人を 燒き 盡くした．
  1. and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men who belonged to Korah with their possessions.
  2. So they and all that belonged to them went down alive to Sheol; and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.
  3. All Israel who were around them fled at their outcry, for they said, "The earth may swallow us up!"
  4. Fire also came forth from the LORD and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering the incense.
  5. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  1. "Say to Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, that he shall take up the censers out of the midst of the blaze, for they are holy; and you scatter the burning coals abroad.
  2. "As for the censers of these men who have sinned at the cost of their lives, let them be made into hammered sheets for a plating of the altar, since they did present them before the LORD and they are holy; and they shall be for a sign to the sons of Israel."
  3. So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers which the men who were burned had offered, and they hammered them out as a plating for the altar,
  4. as a reminder to the sons of Israel that no layman who is not of the descendants of Aaron should come near to burn incense before the LORD; so that he will not become like Korah and his company--just as the LORD had spoken to him through Moses.
  5. But on the next day all the congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, saying, "You are the ones who have caused the death of the LORD'S people."
  1. It came about, however, when the congregation had assembled against Moses and Aaron, that they turned toward the tent of meeting, and behold, the cloud covered it and the glory of the LORD appeared.
  2. Then Moses and Aaron came to the front of the tent of meeting,
  3. and the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  4. "Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly." Then they fell on their faces.
  5. Moses said to Aaron, "Take your censer and put in it fire from the altar, and lay incense on it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone forth from the LORD, the plague has begun!"
  1. Then Aaron took it as Moses had spoken, and ran into the midst of the assembly, for behold, the plague had begun among the people. So he put on the incense and made atonement for the people.
  2. He took his stand between the dead and the living, so that the plague was checked.
  3. But those who died by the plague were 14,700, besides those who died on account of Korah.
  4. Then Aaron returned to Moses at the doorway of the tent of meeting, for the plague had been checked.
 
  아론의 싹난 지팡이(17:1-17:13)    
 
  1. 主は モ ― セ に 仰せになった．
  2. 「祭司 アロン の 子 エルアザル に 告げ， 燒け 跡から 香爐を 取り 出し， 炭火は 遠くにまき 散らすように 言いなさい． 香爐は 旣に 聖なるものとなっている．
  3. 命を 落とした 罪人たちの 香爐を 打ち 延ばして 板金にし， 祭壇の 覆いを 作りなさい． それらは， 主の 御前にささげられ， 聖なるものとされているからである． これは， イスラエル の 人¿に 對する 警告のしるしとなるであろう． 」
  4. 祭司 エルアザル は， 燒き 殺された 人¿がささげた 靑銅の 香爐を 集め， 打ち 延ばして 板金にし 祭壇の 覆いを 作った．
  5. これは， アロン の 子孫以外の 者が 主の 御前に 近づき， 香をささげてはならないことを イスラエル の 人¿に 思い 起こさせるためであり， コラ とその 仲間のようにならないためであった． それは， モ ― セ を 通して エルアザル に 語られた 主の 言葉どおり 作られた．
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "Speak to the sons of Israel, and get from them a rod for each father's household: twelve rods, from all their leaders according to their fathers' households. You shall write each name on his rod,
  3. and write Aaron's name on the rod of Levi; for there is one rod for the head of each of their fathers' households.
  4. "You shall then deposit them in the tent of meeting in front of the testimony, where I meet with you.
  5. "It will come about that the rod of the man whom I choose will sprout. Thus I will lessen from upon Myself the grumblings of the sons of Israel, who are grumbling against you."
  1. その 翌日， イスラエル の 人¿の 共同體全體は， モ ― セ と アロン に 逆らって， 「あなたたちは 主の 民を 殺してしまったではないか 」と 不平を 言った．
  2. 彼らが モ ― セ と アロン に 逆らって 集結し， 臨在の 幕屋の 方を 向くと， 見よ， 雲がそれを 覆い， 主の 榮光が 現れていた．
  3. モ ― セ と アロン が 臨在の 幕屋の 前に 進み 出ると，
  4. 主は モ ― セ に 仰せになった．
  5. 「この 共同體から 離れなさい． わたしは 直ちに 彼らを 滅ぼす． 」二人はひれ 伏した．
  1. Moses therefore spoke to the sons of Israel, and all their leaders gave him a rod apiece, for each leader according to their fathers' households, twelve rods, with the rod of Aaron among their rods.
  2. So Moses deposited the rods before the LORD in the tent of the testimony.
  3. Now on the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.
  4. Moses then brought out all the rods from the presence of the LORD to all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his rod.
  5. But the LORD said to Moses, "Put back the rod of Aaron before the testimony to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put an end to their grumblings against Me, so that they will not die."
  1. モ ― セ は アロン に 言った． 「香爐を 取り， それに 祭壇の 火を 入れ， 香を 載せ， 急いで 共同體のもとに 行って， 彼らのために 罪を ·う 儀式を 行いなさい． 主の 御前から 怒りが 出て， もう 疫病が 始まっている． 」
  2. アロン は， モ ― セ の 命令どおりに 行い， 集結している 人¿の 中へ 走って 行った． 疫病は 旣に 民の 間に 廣がり 始めていた． アロン が 香をたき， 民のために 罪を ·う 儀式を 行い，
  3. 死んだ 者と 生きている 者との 間に 立つと， 災害は 治まった．
  1. Thus Moses did; just as the LORD had commanded him, so he did.
  2. Then the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, "Behold, we perish, we are dying, we are all dying!
  3. "Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the LORD, must die. Are we to perish completely?"
