- それから， イエス は 使徒たちに 言われた． 「財布も 袋も 履物も 持たせずにあなたがたを 遣わしたとき， 何か 不足したものがあったか． 」彼らが， 「いいえ， 何もありませんでした 」と 言うと，
- イエス は 言われた． 「しかし 今は， 財布のある 者は， それを 持って 行きなさい． 袋も 同じようにしなさい． 劍のない 者は， 服を 賣ってそれを 買いなさい．
- 言っておくが， 『その 人は 犯罪人の 一人に 數えられた 』と 書かれていることは， わたしの 身に 必ず 實現する． わたしにかかわることは 實現するからである． 」
- そこで 彼らが， 「主よ， 劍なら， このとおりここに 二振りあります 」と 言うと， イエス は， 「それでよい 」と 言われた．
- イエス がそこを 出て， いつものように オリ ― ブ 山に 行かれると， 弟子たちも 從った．

- And He said to them, "When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?" They said, "No, nothing."
- And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.
- "For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, 'AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS'; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment."
- They said, "Lord, look, here are two swords." And He said to them, "It is enough."
- And He came out and proceeded as was His custom to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.

- いつもの 場所に 來ると， イエス は 弟子たちに， 「誘惑に 陷らないように 祈りなさい 」と 言われた．
- そして 自分は， 石を 投げて 屆くほどの 所に 離れ， ひざまずいてこう 祈られた．
- 「父よ， 御心なら， この 杯をわたしから 取りのけてください． しかし， わたしの 願いではなく， 御心のままに 行ってください． 」〔
- すると， 天使が 天から 現れて， イエス を 力づけた．
- イエス は 苦しみもだえ， いよいよ 切に 祈られた． 汗が 血の 滴るように 地面に 落ちた． 〕

- When He arrived at the place, He said to them, "Pray that you may not enter into temptation."
- And He withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and began to pray,
- saying, "Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done."
- Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.
- And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.

- イエス が 祈り 終わって 立ち 上がり， 弟子たちのところに 戾って 御覽になると， 彼らは 悲しみの 果てに 眠り ¿んでいた．
- イエス は 言われた． 「なぜ 眠っているのか． 誘惑に 陷らぬよう， 起きて 祈っていなさい． 」
- イエス がまだ 話しておられると， 群衆が 現れ， 十二人の 一人で ユダ という 者が 先頭に 立って， イエス に 接吻をしようと 近づいた．
- イエス は， 「ユダ ， あなたは 接吻で 人の 子を 裏切るのか 」と 言われた．
- イエス の 周りにいた 人¿は 事の 成り 行きを 見て 取り， 「主よ， 劍で 切りつけましょうか 」と 言った．

- When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow,
- and said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not enter into temptation."
- While He was still speaking, behold, a crowd came, and the one called Judas, one of the twelve, was preceding them; and he approached Jesus to kiss Him.
- But Jesus said to him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?"
- When those who were around Him saw what was going to happen, they said, "Lord, shall we strike with the sword?"

- そのうちのある 者が 大祭司の 手下に 打ちかかって， その 右の 耳を 切り 落とした．
- そこで イエス は， 「やめなさい． もうそれでよい 」と 言い， その 耳に 觸れていやされた．
- それから イエス は， 押し 寄せて 來た 祭司長， 神殿守衛長， 長老たちに 言われた． 「まるで 强盜にでも 向かうように， 劍や 棒を 持ってやって 來たのか．
- わたしは 每日， 神殿の 境內で 一緖にいたのに， あなたたちはわたしに 手を 下さなかった． だが， 今はあなたたちの 時で， 闇が 力を 振るっている． 」

- And one of them struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
- But Jesus answered and said, "Stop! No more of this." And He touched his ear and healed him.
- Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders who had come against Him, "Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against a robber?
- "While I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power of darkness are yours."
