- ユダヤ 人たちは， イエス が「わたしは 天から 降って 來た パン である 」と 言われたので， イエス のことでつぶやき 始め，
- こう 言った． 「これは ヨセフ の 息子の イエス ではないか． 我¿はその 父も 母も 知っている． どうして 今， 『わたしは 天から 降って 來た 』などと 言うのか． 」
- イエス は 答えて 言われた． 「つぶやき 合うのはやめなさい．
- わたしをお 遣わしになった 父が 引き 寄せてくださらなければ， だれもわたしのもとへ 來ることはできない． わたしはその 人を 終わりの 日に 復活させる．
- 預言者の 書に， 『彼らは 皆， 神によって 敎えられる 』と 書いてある． 父から 聞いて 學んだ 者は 皆， わたしのもとに 來る．

- Therefore the Jews were grumbling about Him, because He said, "I am the bread that came down out of heaven."
- They were saying, "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does He now say, 'I have come down out of heaven'?"
- Jesus answered and said to them, "Do not grumble among yourselves.
- "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.
- "It is written in the prophets, 'AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.

- 父を 見た 者は 一人もいない． 神のもとから 來た 者だけが 父を 見たのである．
- はっきり 言っておく． 信じる 者は 永遠の 命を 得ている．
- わたしは 命の パン である．
- あなたたちの 先祖は 荒れ 野で マンナ を 食べたが， 死んでしまった．
- しかし， これは， 天から 降って 來た パン であり， これを 食べる 者は 死なない．

- "Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.
- "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.
- "I am the bread of life.
- "Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
- "This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die.

- わたしは， 天から 降って 來た 生きた パン である． この パン を 食べるならば， その 人は 永遠に 生きる． わたしが 與える パン とは， 世を 生かすためのわたしの 肉のことである． 」
- それで， ユダヤ 人たちは， 「どうしてこの 人は 自分の 肉を 我¿に 食べさせることができるのか 」と， 互いに 激しく 議論し 始めた．
- イエス は 言われた． 「はっきり 言っておく． 人の 子の 肉を 食べ， その 血を 飮まなければ， あなたたちの 內に 命はない．
- わたしの 肉を 食べ， わたしの 血を 飮む 者は， 永遠の 命を 得， わたしはその 人を 終わりの 日に 復活させる．
- わたしの 肉はまことの 食べ 物， わたしの 血はまことの 飮み 物だからである．

- "I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh."
- Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, "How can this man give us His flesh to eat?"
- So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.
- "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
- "For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.

- わたしの 肉を 食べ， わたしの 血を 飮む 者は， いつもわたしの 內におり， わたしもまたいつもその 人の 內にいる．
- 生きておられる 父がわたしをお 遣わしになり， またわたしが 父によって 生きるように， わたしを 食べる 者もわたしによって 生きる．
- これは 天から 降って 來た パン である． 先祖が 食べたのに 死んでしまったようなものとは 違う． この パン を 食べる 者は 永遠に 生きる． 」
- これらは， イエス が カファルナウム の 會堂で 敎えていたときに 話されたことである．
- ところで， 弟子たちの 多くの 者はこれを 聞いて 言った． 「實にひどい 話だ． だれが， こんな 話を 聞いていられようか． 」

- "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
- "As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.
- "This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever."
- These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.
- Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this said, "This is a difficult statement; who can listen to it?"

- イエス は， 弟子たちがこのことについてつぶやいているのに 氣づいて 言われた． 「あなたがたはこのことにつまずくのか．
- それでは， 人の 子がもといた 所に 上るのを 見るならば ……．
- 命を 與えるのは “靈 ＂である． 肉は 何の 役にも 立たない． わたしがあなたがたに 話した 言葉は 靈であり， 命である．
- しかし， あなたがたのうちには 信じない 者たちもいる． 」 イエス は 最初から， 信じない 者たちがだれであるか， また， 御自分を 裏切る 者がだれであるかを 知っておられたのである．
- そして， 言われた． 「こういうわけで， わたしはあなたがたに， 『父からお 許しがなければ， だれもわたしのもとに 來ることはできない 』と 言ったのだ． 」

- But Jesus, conscious that His disciples grumbled at this, said to them, "Does this cause you to stumble?
- "What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?
- "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.
- "But there are some of you who do not believe " For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him.
- And He was saying, "For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father."

- このために， 弟子たちの 多くが 離れ 去り， もはや イエス と 共に 步まなくなった．
- そこで， イエス は 十二人に， 「あなたがたも 離れて 行きたいか 」と 言われた．
- シモン · ペトロ が 答えた． 「主よ， わたしたちはだれのところへ 行きましょうか． あなたは 永遠の 命の 言葉を 持っておられます．
- あなたこそ 神の 聖者であると， わたしたちは 信じ， また 知っています． 」
- すると， イエス は 言われた． 「あなたがた 十二人は， わたしが 選んだのではないか． ところが， その 中の 一人は 惡魔だ． 」

- As a result of this many of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore.
- So Jesus said to the twelve, "You do not want to go away also, do you?"
- Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.
- "We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God."
- Jesus answered them, "Did I Myself not choose you, the twelve, and yet one of you is a devil?"

- イスカリオテ の シモン の 子 ユダ のことを 言われたのである． この ユダ は， 十二人の 一人でありながら， イエス を 裏切ろうとしていた．

- Now He meant Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray Him.
