열왕기상

  본서는 솔로몬의 통치와 분열 왕국 이후의 초기 약 80여 년 간의 역사를 통하여, 선민 이스라엘의 흥망 성쇠는 하나님의 말씀에 대한 백성들과 왕들의 순종과 불순종에 있음을 보여 주고 있다.

  1장부터 11장까지는 솔로몬의 행적을 기록하고 있는데, 특히 그의 지혜와 성전 건축과 아울러 이방 왕비들로 말미암아 우상을 숭배하여 이스라엘 왕국을 분열시킨 행적이 언급되어 있다. 12장부터 22장까지는 통일 왕국 이스라엘의 분열 경위를 기록한 후, 분열된 북이스라엘과 남유다의 정치적, 영적 타락 사건들을 보여 주고 있다. 특히, 바알 종교를 숭배한 북이스라엘 왕국의 왕 아합과 선지자 엘리야의 사역이 주로 전개되고 있다.

 

 

열왕기상 1:1-1:53

 다윗이 늙자 아도니야는 왕위를 찬탈하려고 음모를 꾸몄다. 이를 미리 안 나단은 밧세바를 통해 다윗에게 사건의 진상을 알리고 하나님의 뜻을 상기시킴으로써 아도니야의 음모를 수포로 돌아가게 하였다. 이로써 솔로몬이 다윗을 이어 이스라엘의 왕으로 등극하였다.
  
  아도니야의 음모(1:1-1:31)    
 
  1. ダビデ 王は 多くの 日を 重ねて 老人になり， 衣を 何枚着せられても 暖まらなかった．
  2. そこで 家臣たちは， 王に 言った． 「わが 主君， 王のために 若い 處女を 探して， 御そばにはべらせ， お 世話をさせましょう． ふところに 抱いてお 休みになれば， 暖かくなります． 」
  3. 彼らは 美しい 娘を 求めて イスラエル 領內をくまなく 探し， シュネム 生まれの アビシャグ という 娘を 見つけ， 王のもとに 連れて 來た．
  4. この 上なく 美しいこの 娘は 王の 世話をし， 王に 仕えたが， 王は 彼女を 知ることがなかった．
  5. ハギト の 子 アドニヤ は 思い 上がって， 「わたしが 王になる 」と 言い， 戰車と 馬と 五十人の 護衛兵をそろえた．
  1. Now King David was old, advanced in age; and they covered him with clothes, but he could not keep warm.
  2. So his servants said to him, "Let them seek a young virgin for my lord the king, and let her attend the king and become his nurse; and let her lie in your bosom, that my lord the king may keep warm."
  3. So they searched for a beautiful girl throughout all the territory of Israel, and found Abishag the Shunammite, and brought her to the king.
  4. The girl was very beautiful; and she became the king's nurse and served him, but the king did not cohabit with her.
  5. Now Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, "I will be king " So he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen with fifty men to run before him.

  2. He had conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest; and following Adonijah they helped him.
  3. But Zadok the priest, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, Nathan the prophet, Shimei, Rei, and the mighty men who belonged to David, were not with Adonijah.
  4. Adonijah sacrificed sheep and oxen and fatlings by the stone of Zoheleth, which is beside En-rogel; and he invited all his brothers, the king's sons, and all the men of Judah, the king's servants.
  5. But he did not invite Nathan the prophet, Benaiah, the mighty men, and Solomon his brother.
  1. ナタン は ソロモン の 母 バト · シェバ に 言った． 「お 聞きになってはいませんか． 我らの 主君， ダビデ の 知らないうちに， ハギト の 子 アドニヤ が 王となったということを．
  2. あなたの 命とあなたの 子 ソロモン の 命が 助かるように， わたしの 言うことをすぐさま 實行しなさい．

  1. Then Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, "Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king, and David our lord does not know it?
  2. "So now come, please let me give you counsel and save your life and the life of your son Solomon.
  3. "Go at once to King David and say to him, 'Have you not, my lord, O king, sworn to your maidservant, saying, "Surely Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne"? Why then has Adonijah become king?'
  4. "Behold, while you are still there speaking with the king, I will come in after you and confirm your words."
  5. So Bathsheba went in to the king in the bedroom. Now the king was very old, and Abishag the Shunammite was ministering to the king.
  1. バト · シェバ は 王の 前にひざまずいて 禮をした． 王が「どうしたのか 」と 尋ねたので，

  1. Then Bathsheba bowed and prostrated herself before the king. And the king said, "What do you wish?"
  2. She said to him, "My lord, you swore to your maidservant by the LORD your God, saying, 'Surely your son Solomon shall be king after me and he shall sit on my throne.'
  3. "Now, behold, Adonijah is king; and now, my lord the king, you do not know it.
  4. "He has sacrificed oxen and fatlings and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the sons of the king and Abiathar the priest and Joab the commander of the army, but he has not invited Solomon your servant.
  5. "As for you now, my lord the king, the eyes of all Israel are on you, to tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.
  1. このままで， わが 主君， 王が 先祖と 共に 眠りにおつきになれば， わたしとわが 子 ソロモン は 反逆者になってしまいます． 」
  2. 彼女が 王と 話し 合っている 間に， 預言者 ナタン が 來たので，

  1. "Otherwise it will come about, as soon as my lord the king sleeps with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon will be considered offenders."
  2. Behold, while she was still speaking with the king, Nathan the prophet came in.
  3. They told the king, saying, "Here is Nathan the prophet." And when he came in before the king, he prostrated himself before the king with his face to the ground.
  4. Then Nathan said, "My lord the king, have you said, 'Adonijah shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne'?
  5. "For he has gone down today and has sacrificed oxen and fatlings and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the king's sons and the commanders of the army and Abiathar the priest, and behold, they are eating and drinking before him; and they say, 'Long live King Adonijah!'
  1. しかし， あなたの 僕であるこのわたしと， 祭司 ツァドク ， ヨヤダ の 子 ベナヤ ， あなたの 僕 ソロモン は 招かれませんでした．
  2. このようなことになったのは， わが 主君， 王の 御意向なのでしょうか． わが 主君， 王は， だれが 御自分の 跡を 繼いで 王座につくのか， 僕たちにお 知らせになっていません． 」
  3. ダビデ 王は 答えて， 「バト · シェバ をここに 呼びなさい 」と 命じた． 彼女が 進み 出て， 王の 前に 立つと，
  4. 王は 誓った． 「わたしの 命をあらゆる 苦しみから 救ってくださった 主は 生きておられる．
  5. あなたの 子 ソロモン がわたしの 跡を 繼いで 王となり， わたしに 代わって 王座につく， と イスラエル の 神， 主にかけてあなたに 立てた 誓いをわたしは 今日實行する． 」
  1. "But me, even me your servant, and Zadok the priest and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada and your servant Solomon, he has not invited.
  2. "Has this thing been done by my lord the king, and you have not shown to your servants who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?"
  3. Then King David said, "Call Bathsheba to me." And she came into the king's presence and stood before the king.
  4. The king vowed and said, "As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my life from all distress,
  5. surely as I vowed to you by the LORD the God of Israel, saying, 'Your son Solomon shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my place'; I will indeed do so this day."
  1. バト · シェバ は 顔を 地に 伏せ， 王に 禮をして， 「わが 主君， ダビデ 王， あなたの 命がとこしえに 永らえますように 」と 言った．
  1. Then Bathsheba bowed with her face to the ground, and prostrated herself before the king and said, "May my lord King David live forever."
 
  솔로몬의 등극(1:32-1:53)    
 
  1. ダビデ 王は， 「祭司 ツァドク ， 預言者 ナタン ， ヨヤダ の 子 ベナヤ をここに 呼べ 」と 命じた． 彼らが 王の 前に 出ると，
  2. 王は 言った． 「お 前たちは 主君の 家臣を 率いて， わが 子 ソロモン をわたしのらばに 乘せ， ギホン に 下らせよ．

  1. Then King David said, "Call to me Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada." And they came into the king's presence.
  2. The king said to them, "Take with you the servants of your lord, and have my son Solomon ride on my own mule, and bring him down to Gihon.
  3. "Let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there as king over Israel, and blow the trumpet and say, 'Long live King Solomon!'
  4. "Then you shall come up after him, and he shall come and sit on my throne and be king in my place; for I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and Judah."
  5. Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king and said, "Amen! Thus may the LORD, the God of my lord the king, say.
  1. 主は 王と 共にいてくださいました． また ソロモン と 共にいてくださいますように． その 王座をわが 主君， ダビデ 王の 王座より 更に 大いなるものにしてくださいますように． 」
  2. 祭司 ツァドク ， 預言者 ナタン ， ヨヤダ の 子 ベナヤ は クレタ 人と ペレティ 人と 共に 下って 行った． 彼らは ソロモン を ダビデ 王のらばに 乘せ， ギホン に 連れて 行った．
  3. 祭司 ツァドク は 天幕から 油の 入った 角を 持って 出て， ソロモン に 油を 注いだ． 彼らが 角笛を 吹くと， 民は 皆， 「ソロモン 王， 万歲 」と 叫んだ．
  4. 民は 皆， 彼の 後に 從って 上り， 笛を 吹き， 大いに 喜び 祝い， その 聲で 地は 裂けた．

  1. "As the LORD has been with my lord the king, so may He be with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord King David!"
  2. So Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the Cherethites, and the Pelethites went down and had Solomon ride on King David's mule, and brought him to Gihon.
  3. Zadok the priest then took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said, "Long live King Solomon!"
  4. All the people went up after him, and the people were playing on flutes and rejoicing with great joy, so that the earth shook at their noise.
  5. Now Adonijah and all the guests who were with him heard it as they finished eating. When Joab heard the sound of the trumpet, he said, "Why is the city making such an uproar?"
  1. こう 話しているうちに， 祭司 アビアタル の 子 ヨナタン が 來た． アドニヤ は， 「近くに 來るがよい． お 前は 勇敢な 男だ． 良い 知らせがあるにちがいない 」と 言ったが，
  2. ヨナタン は アドニヤ に 答えた． 「いいえ， 我らの 主君， ダビデ 王は ソロモン を 王とされました．
  3. 王は， ソロモン と 共に 祭司 ツァドク ， 預言者 ナタン ， ヨヤダ の 子 ベナヤ ， クレタ 人と ペレティ 人を 遣わし， 彼らは ソロモン を 王のらばに 乘せました．
  4. 祭司 ツァドク と 預言者 ナタン は ギホン で ソロモン に 油を 注いで 王とし， 彼らがそこから 喜び 祝いながら 上って 來たので， 町は ¿いでいるのです． あなたがたに 聞こえたのはその 聲で，
  5. ソロモン は 旣に 國王の 座についておられます．
  1. While he was still speaking, behold, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came Then Adonijah said, "Come in, for you are a valiant man and bring good news."
  2. But Jonathan replied to Adonijah, "No! Our lord King David has made Solomon king.
  3. "The king has also sent with him Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the Cherethites, and the Pelethites; and they have made him ride on the king's mule.
  4. "Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon, and they have come up from there rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise which you have heard.
  5. "Besides, Solomon has even taken his seat on the throne of the kingdom.
  1. 王の 家臣も 次¿と 來て， 我らの 主君， ダビデ 王に 祝いの 言葉を 述べています． 『あなたの 神が ソロモン の 名をあなたの 名よりも 優れたものに， ソロモン の 王座をあなたの 王座よりも 大いなるものにしてくださいますように 』と． 王は 寢床の 上でひれ 伏し，
  2. こう 言われました． 『イスラエル の 神， 主はたたえられますように． 主は 今日わたしの 王座につく 者を 與えてくださり， わたしはそれをこの 目で 見ている． 』」
  3. アドニヤ に 招かれた 客は 皆， 震えながら 立ち 上がり， それぞれ 歸途についた．
  4. アドニヤ も ソロモン を 恐れ， 立って 行き， 祭壇の 角をつかんだ．
  5. この 知らせが ソロモン に 傳えられた． 「アドニヤ は ソロモン 王を 恐れ， 祭壇の 角をつかんで 言っています． 『この 僕を 劍にかけて 殺すことはないと 今日 ソロモン 王に 誓っていただきたい 』と． 」
  1. "Moreover, the king's servants came to bless our lord King David, saying, 'May your God make the name of Solomon better than your name and his throne greater than your throne!' And the king bowed himself on the bed.
  2. "The king has also said thus, 'Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who has granted one to sit on my throne today while my own eyes see it.'"
  3. Then all the guests of Adonijah were terrified; and they arose and each went on his way.
  4. And Adonijah was afraid of Solomon, and he arose, went and took hold of the horns of the altar.
  5. Now it was told Solomon, saying, "Behold, Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon, for behold, he has taken hold of the horns of the altar, saying, 'Let King Solomon swear to me today that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.'"
  1. ソロモン は 言った． 「彼が 潔くふるまえば 髮の 毛一筋さえ 地に 落ちることはない． しかし， 彼に 惡が 見つかれば 死なねばならない． 」
  2. ソロモン 王は 人を 遣わして アドニヤ を 祭壇から 下ろさせた． アドニヤ が ソロモン 王の 前に 出てひれ 伏すと， ソロモン 王は， 「家に 歸るがよい 」と 言った．
  1. Solomon said, "If he is a worthy man, not one of his hairs will fall to the ground; but if wickedness is found in him, he will die."
  2. So King Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and prostrated himself before King Solomon, and Solomon said to him, "Go to your house."
