욥기 41:1-42:17

 하나님은 악어에 대하여 설명하시면서 인간의 한계를 나타내시고, 하나님의 주권적인 능력을 보여 주셨다. 이에 욥은 하나님의 전능하심과 자신의 미천함을 깨닫고 자신의 무지한 말과 교만을 회개하였다. 그리고 하나님께서 엘리바스에게 욥의 친구들이 올바르지 못했다고 책망하셨고, 욥은 친구들을 위해 야웨께 번제를 드렸다. 그 후 하나님께서는 욥에게 갑절의 복을 주셨다.
  
  욥의 회개(41:1-42:17)    
 
  1. 勝ち 目があると 思っても， 落膽するだけだ． 見ただけでも 打ちのめされるほどなのだから．
  2. 彼を 挑發するほど 勇猛な 者はいまい． いるなら， わたしの 前に 立て．
  3. あえてわたしの 前に 立つ 者があれば ／その 者には 褒美を 與えよう． 天の 下にあるすべてのものはわたしのものだ．
  4. 彼のからだの 各部について ／わたしは 默ってはいられない． 力のこもった 背と 見事な 體格について．
  5. 誰が 彼の 身ごしらえを 正面から 解き ／上下の 顎の 間に 押し 入ることができようか．
  1. "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord?
  2. "Can you put a rope in his nose Or pierce his jaw with a hook?
  3. "Will he make many supplications to you, Or will he speak to you soft words?
  4. "Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him for a servant forever?
  5. "Will you play with him as with a bird, Or will you bind him for your maidens?
  1. 誰がその 顔の 扉を 開くことができようか． 齒の 周りには 殺氣がある．
  2. 背中は 盾の 列 ／封印され， 固く 閉ざされている．
  3. その 盾は 次¿と 連なって ／風の 吹き ¿む 透き 間もない．
  4. 一つの 盾はその 仲間に 結びつき ／つながりあって， 決して 離れない．
  5. 彼がくしゃみをすれば， 兩眼は ／曙のまばたきのように， 光を 放ち 始める．
  1. "Will the traders bargain over him? Will they divide him among the merchants?
  2. "Can you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears?
  3. "Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle; you will not do it again!
  4. "Behold, your expectation is false; Will you be laid low even at the sight of him?
  5. "No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him; Who then is he that can stand before Me?
  1. 口からは 火炎が 噴き 出し ／火の 粉が 飛び 散る．
  2. 煮えたぎる 鍋の 勢いで ／鼻からは 煙が 吹き 出る．
  3. 喉は 燃える 炭火 ／口からは 炎が 吹き 出る．
  4. 首には 猛威が 宿り ／顔には 威¿がみなぎっている．
  5. 筋肉は 幾重にも 重なり 合い ／しっかり 彼を 包んでびくともしない．
  1. "Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine.
  2. "I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, Or his mighty strength, or his orderly frame.
  3. "Who can strip off his outer armor? Who can come within his double mail?
  4. "Who can open the doors of his face? Around his teeth there is terror.
  5. "His strong scales are his pride, Shut up as with a tight seal.
  1. 心臟は 石のように 硬く ／石臼のように 硬い．
  2. 彼が 立ち 上がれば 神¿もおののき ／取り 亂して， 逃げ 惑う．
  3. 劍も 槍も， 矢も 投げ 槍も ／彼を 突き 刺すことはできない．
  4. 鐵の 武器も 麥藁となり ／靑銅も 腐った 木となる．
  5. 弓を 射ても 彼を 追うことはできず ／石投げ 紐の 石ももみ 殼に 變わる．
  1. "One is so near to another That no air can come between them.
  2. "They are joined one to another; They clasp each other and cannot be separated.
  3. "His sneezes flash forth light, And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
  4. "Out of his mouth go burning torches; Sparks of fire leap forth.
  5. "Out of his nostrils smoke goes forth As from a boiling pot and burning rushes.
  1. 彼はこん 棒を 藁と 見なし ／投げ 槍のうなりを 笑う．
  2. 彼の 腹は 銳い 陶器の 破片を ¿べたよう． 打穀機のように 土の 塊を ¿き 散らす．
  3. 彼は 深い 淵を 煮えたぎる 鍋のように 沸き 上がらせ ／海をるつぼにする．
  4. 彼の 進んだ 跡には 光が 輝き ／深淵は 白髮をなびかせる．
  5. この 地上に， 彼を 支配する 者はいない． 彼はおののきを 知らぬものとして 造られている．
  1. "His breath kindles coals, And a flame goes forth from his mouth.
  2. "In his neck lodges strength, And dismay leaps before him.
  3. "The folds of his flesh are joined together, Firm on him and immovable.
  4. "His heart is as hard as a stone, Even as hard as a lower millstone.
  5. "When he raises himself up, the mighty fear; Because of the crashing they are bewildered.
  1. 梶り 高ぶるものすべてを 見下し ／誇り 高い ¿すべての 上に 君臨している．
  1. "The sword that reaches him cannot avail, Nor the spear, the dart or the javelin.
  2. "He regards iron as straw, Bronze as rotten wood.
  3. "The arrow cannot make him flee; Slingstones are turned into stubble for him.
  4. "Clubs are regarded as stubble; He laughs at the rattling of the javelin.
  5. "His underparts are like sharp potsherds; He spreads out like a threshing sledge on the mire.
  1. "He makes the depths boil like a pot; He makes the sea like a jar of ointment.
  2. "Behind him he makes a wake to shine; One would think the deep to be gray-haired.
  3. "Nothing on earth is like him, One made without fear.
  4. "He looks on everything that is high; He is king over all the sons of pride."
 
 
  1. ヨブ は 主に 答えて 言った．
  2. あなたは 全能であり ／御旨の 成就を 妨げることはできないと 悟りました．
  3. 「これは 何者か． 知識もないのに ／神の 經 └を 隱そうとするとは． 」そのとおりです． わたしには 理解できず， わたしの 知識を 超えた ／驚くべき 御業をあげつらっておりました．
  4. 「聞け， わたしが 話す． お 前に 尋ねる， わたしに 答えてみよ． 」
  5. あなたのことを， 耳にしてはおりました． しかし 今， この 目であなたを 仰ぎ 見ます．
  1. Then Job answered the LORD and said,
  2. "I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.
  3. 'Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?' "Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know."
  4. 'Hear, now, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me.'
  5. "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You;
  1. それゆえ， わたしは 塵と 灰の 上に 伏し ／自分を 退け， 悔い 改めます．
  2. 主はこのように ヨブ に 語ってから， テマン 人 エリファズ に 仰せになった． 「わたしはお 前とお 前の 二人の 友人に 對して 怒っている． お 前たちは， わたしについてわたしの 僕 ヨブ のように 正しく 語らなかったからだ．
  3. しかし 今， 雄牛と 雄羊を 七頭ずつわたしの 僕 ヨブ のところに 引いて 行き， 自分のためにいけにえをささげれば， わたしの 僕 ヨブ はお 前たちのために 祈ってくれるであろう． わたしはそれを 受け 入れる． お 前たちはわたしの 僕 ヨブ のようにわたしについて 正しく 語らなかったのだが， お 前たちに 罰を 與えないことにしよう． 」
  4. テマン 人 エリファズ ， シュア 人 ビルダド ， ナアマ 人 ツォファル は 行って， 主が 言われたことを 實行した． そして， 主は ヨブ の 祈りを 受け 入れられた．
  5. ヨブ が 友人たちのために 祈ったとき， 主は ヨブ を 元の 境遇に 戾し， 更に 財産を 二倍にされた．
  1. Therefore I retract, And I repent in dust and ashes."
  2. It came about after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of Me what is right as My servant Job has.
  3. "Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to My servant Job, and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves, and My servant Job will pray for you For I will accept him so that I may not do with you according to your folly, because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has."
  4. So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD told them; and the LORD accepted Job.
  5. The LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD increased all that Job had twofold.
  1. 兄弟姉妹， かつての 知人たちがこぞって 彼のもとを 訪れ， 食事を 共にし， 主が 下されたすべての 災いについていたわり 慰め， それぞれ 銀一 ケシタ と 金の 環一つを 贈った．
  2. 主はその 後の ヨブ を 以前にも 增して 祝福された． ヨブ は， 羊一万四千匹， らくだ 六千頭， 牛一千くびき， 雌ろば 一千頭を 持つことになった．
  3. 彼はまた 七人の 息子と 三人の 娘をもうけ，
  4. 長女を エミマ ， 次女を ケツィア ， 三女を ケレン · プク と 名付けた．
  5. ヨブ の 娘たちのように 美しい 娘は 國中どこにもいなかった． 彼女らもその 兄弟と 共に 父の 財産の 分け 前を 受けた．
  1. Then all his brothers and all his sisters and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversities that the LORD had brought on him. And each one gave him one piece of money, and each a ring of gold.
  2. The LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; and he had 14,000 sheep and 6,000 camels and 1,000 yoke of oxen and 1,000 female donkeys.
  3. He had seven sons and three daughters.
  4. He named the first Jemimah, and the second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch.
  5. In all the land no women were found so fair as Job's daughters; and their father gave them inheritance among their brothers.
  1. ヨブ はその 後百四十年生き， 子， 孫， 四代の 先まで 見ることができた．
  2. ヨブ は 長壽を 保ち， 老いて 死んだ．
  1. After this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his grandsons, four generations.
  2. And Job died, an old man and full of days.
