	이사야 29:1-30:33 이사야는 예루살렘이 범죄함으로써 고통당하고, 그들의 대적들은 멸망될 것이라고 하였다. 그리고 하나님을 의지하지 않고 애굽을 의지한 유다의 지도자들도 수치와 수욕을 당할 것이라고 예언하였다. 그러나 야웨께 부르짖어 기도하는 백성들에게는 은혜를 베푸실 것이라고 하였다.

	유다의 위기와 구원(29:1-30:33)

ああ，アリエルよ，アリエルよ／ダビデが陣を張った都よ．年每に，祭りの數を增し，巡り來らせよ．

そのとき，わたしはアリエルを苦しめる．アリエルには嘆きと，ため息が臨み／祭壇の爐（アリエル）のようになる．

わたしはお前を圍んで陣を張り／砦を築き，城壁を建てる．

お前は倒されて地の下から語り／お前の言葉は塵の下から鈍く響く．亡靈のようなお前の聲は地の下から聞こえ／お前の言葉は塵の下からかすかに響く．

群がる外敵は砂塵のようになり／群がる暴虐の者らは／吹き去られるもみ殼のようになる．そのことは突然，瞬く間に起こる．

Woe, O Ariel, Ariel the city where David once camped! Add year to year, observe your feasts on schedule.

I will bring distress to Ariel, And she will be a city of lamenting and mourning; And she will be like an Ariel to me.

I will camp against you encircling you, And I will set siegeworks against you, And I will raise up battle towers against you.

Then you will be brought low; From the earth you will speak, And from the dust where you are prostrate Your words will come. Your voice will also be like that of a spirit from the ground, And your speech will whisper from the dust.

But the multitude of your enemies will become like fine dust, And the multitude of the ruthless ones like the chaff which blows away; And it will happen instantly, suddenly.

万軍の主によってお前は顧みられる．雷鳴，地震，大音響と共に／つむじ風，嵐，燒き盡くす炎のうちに．

アリエルを群がって攻擊する國はすべて／夢か夜の幻のようになる．彼女を攻擊し，取り圍み／苦しめる者はすべて．

「飢えた者が夢を見た．見よ，彼は食べていた．だが目覺めてみると，彼は空腹のままであった．渴いた者が夢を見た．見よ，彼は飮んでいた．だが，目覺めてみると，疲れ果てて渴いたままだ．」シオンの山に群がって戰いを挑んだ國は／すべてこのようになる．

ためらえ，立ちすくめ．目をふさげ，そして見えなくなれ．醉っているが，ぶどう酒のゆえではない．よろめいているが，濃い酒のゆえではない．

主はお前たちに深い眠りの靈を注ぎ／お前たちの目である預言者の目を閉ざし／頭である先見者を覆われた．

From the LORD of hosts you will be punished with thunder and earthquake and loud noise, With whirlwind and tempest and the flame of a consuming fire.

And the multitude of all the nations who wage war against Ariel, Even all who wage war against her and her stronghold, and who distress her, Will be like a dream, a vision of the night.

It will be as when a hungry man dreams-- And behold, he is eating; But when he awakens, his hunger is not satisfied, Or as when a thirsty man dreams-- And behold, he is drinking, But when he awakens, behold, he is faint And his thirst is not quenched. Thus the multitude of all the nations will be Who wage war against Mount Zion.

Be delayed and wait, Blind yourselves and be blind; They become drunk, but not with wine, They stagger, but not with strong drink.

For the LORD has poured over you a spirit of deep sleep, He has shut your eyes, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, the seers.

それゆえすべての幻は，お前たちにとって封じられた書物の中の言葉のようだ．字の讀める人に渡して，「どうぞ，讀んでください」と賴んでも，その人は「封じられているから讀めない」と答える．

字の讀めない人に渡して，「どうぞ，讀んでください」と賴んでも，「わたしは字が讀めない」と答える．

主は言われた．「この民は，口でわたしに近づき／唇でわたしを敬うが／心はわたしから遠く離れている．彼らがわたしを畏れ敬うとしても／それは人間の戒めを覺え ¿んだからだ．

それゆえ，見よ，わたしは再び／驚くべき業を重ねて，この民を驚かす．賢者の知惠は滅び／聰明な者の分別は隱される．」

災いだ，主を避けてその謀を深く隱す者は．彼らの業は闇の中にある．彼らは言う．「誰が我らを見るものか／誰が我らに氣づくものか」と．

The entire vision will be to you like the words of a sealed book, which when they give it to the one who is literate, saying, "Please read this," he will say, "I cannot, for it is sealed."

Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying, "Please read this." And he will say, "I cannot read."

Then the Lord said, "Because this people draw near with their words And honor Me with their lip service, But they remove their hearts far from Me, And their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote,

Therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; And the wisdom of their wise men will perish, And the discernment of their discerning men will be concealed."

Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the LORD, And whose deeds are done in a dark place, And they say, "Who sees us?" or "Who knows us?"

お前たちはなんとゆがんでいることか．陶工が粘土と同じに見なされうるのか．造られた者が，造った者に言いうるのか／「彼がわたしを造ったのではない」と．陶器が，陶工に言いうるのか／「彼には分別がない」と．

なおしばらくの時がたてば／レバノンは再び園となり／園は森林としても數えられる．

その日には，耳の聞こえない者が／書物に書かれている言葉をすら聞き取り／盲人の目は暗黑と闇を解かれ，見えるようになる．

苦しんでいた人¿は再び主にあって喜び祝い／貧しい人¿は／イスラエルの聖なる方のゆえに喜び躍る．

暴虐な者はうせ，不遜な者は滅び／災いを待ち構える者は皆，斷たれる．

You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, That what is made would say to its maker, "He did not make me"; Or what is formed say to him who formed it, "He has no understanding"?

Is it not yet just a little while Before Lebanon will be turned into a fertile field, And the fertile field will be considered as a forest?

On that day the deaf will hear words of a book, And out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see.

The afflicted also will increase their gladness in the LORD, And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

For the ruthless will come to an end and the scorner will be finished, Indeed all who are intent on doing evil will be cut off;

彼らは言葉をもって人を罪に定め／町の門で弁護する者を ┼にかけ／正しい者を不當に押しのける．

それゆえ，アブラハムを ·われた主は／ヤコブの家に向かって，こう言われる．「もはや，ヤコブは恥を受けることはない．もはや顔が靑ざめることもない．」

彼はその子らと共に／民の內にわが手の業を見てわが名を聖とする．彼らはヤコブの聖なる者を聖とし／イスラエルの神を畏るべきものとする．

心の迷った者も知ることを得／つぶやく者も正しく語ることを學ぶ．

Who cause a person to be indicted by a word, And ensnare him who adjudicates at the gate, And defraud the one in the right with meaningless arguments.

Therefore thus says the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: "Jacob shall not now be ashamed, nor shall his face now turn pale;

But when he sees his children, the work of My hands, in his midst, They will sanctify My name; Indeed, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob And will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

"Those who err in mind will know the truth, And those who criticize will accept instruction.

災いだ，背く子らは，と主は言われる．彼らは謀を立てるが／わたしによるのではない．盟約の杯を交わ ㅟ ㎕ ㆅ랙�률 ⓙ 큅�序 뒈看壹畛瘀溥　ㆊ�퀵 ⓗ 孚凄 �菓 �驢ｉ鮫窺 ㄲ�

彼らはわたしの託宣を求めず／エジプトへ下って行き／ファラオの砦に難を避け／エジプトの陰に身を寄せる．

しかし，ファラオの砦はお前たちの恥となり／エジプトの陰に身を寄せることは辱めとなる．

たとえ高官らがツォアンにおり／使者らがハネスに遣わされても

彼らはすべて益を與えぬ國のゆえに／うろたえるだけだ．その國は助けにならず，益を與えず／恥と嘲りの種になるだけだ．

"Woe to the rebellious children," declares the LORD, "Who execute a plan, but not Mine, And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, In order to add sin to sin;

Who proceed down to Egypt Without consulting Me, To take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh And to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!

"Therefore the safety of Pharaoh will be your shame And the shelter in the shadow of Egypt, your humiliation.

"For their princes are at Zoan And their ambassadors arrive at Hanes.

"Everyone will be ashamed because of a people who cannot profit them, Who are not for help or profit, but for shame and also for reproach."

ネゲブの ¿についての託宣．彼らはその富をろばの背に／寶をらくだのこぶに載せて／ほえたける雌獅子や雄獅子／·や，飛び回る炎の蛇が住む／惱みと苦しみの道を經て／益を與えることのない國に赴く．

エジプトの助けは空しくはかない．それゆえ，わたしはこれを／「つながれたラハブ」と呼ぶ．

今，行って，このことを彼らの前で／板に書き，書に記せ．それを後の日のため，永遠の證しとせよ．

まことに，彼らは反逆の民であり／僞りの子ら，主の敎えを聞こうとしない子らだ．

The oracle concerning the beasts of the Negev Through a land of distress and anguish, From where come lioness and lion, viper and flying serpent, They carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys And their treasures on camels' humps, To a people who cannot profit them;

Even Egypt, whose help is vain and empty Therefore, I have called her "Rahab who has been exterminated."

Now go, write it on a tablet before them And inscribe it on a scroll, That it may serve in the time to come As a witness forever.

For this is a rebellious people, false sons, Sons who refuse to listen To the instruction of the LORD;

Who say to the seers, "You must not see visions"; And to the prophets, "You must not prophesy to us what is right, Speak to us pleasant words, Prophesy illusions.

道から離れ，行くべき道をそれ／我¿の前でイスラエルの聖なる方について／語ることをやめよ」と言う．

それゆえ／イスラエルの聖なる方はこう言われる．「お前たちは，この言葉を拒み／抑壓と不正に賴り，それを支えとしているゆえ

この罪は，お前たちにとって／高い城壁に破れが生じ，崩れ落ちるようなものだ．崩壞は突然，そして瞬く間に臨む．

その崩壞の樣は陶器師の壺が ¿けるようだ．容赦なく粉¿され／暖爐から火を取り／水槽から水をすくう破片も殘らないようだ．」

まことに，イスラエルの聖なる方／わが主なる神は，こう言われた．「お前たちは，立ち歸って／靜かにしているならば救われる．安らかに信賴していることにこそ力がある」と．しかし，お前たちはそれを望まなかった．

"Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, Let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel."

Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, "Since you have rejected this word And have put your trust in oppression and guile, and have relied on them,

Therefore this iniquity will be to you Like a breach about to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose collapse comes suddenly in an instant,

Whose collapse is like the smashing of a potter's jar, So ruthlessly shattered That a sherd will not be found among its pieces To take fire from a hearth Or to scoop water from a cistern."

For thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength." But you were not willing,

お前たちは言った．「そうしてはいられない，馬に乘って逃げよう」と．それゆえ，お前たちは逃げなければならない．また「速い馬に乘ろう」と言ったゆえに／あなたたちを追う者は速いであろう．

一人の威¿によって，千人はもろともに逃れ／五人の威¿によって，お前たちは逃れる．殘る者があっても，山頂の旗竿のように／丘の上の旗のようになる．

それゆえ，主は惠みを與えようとして／あなたたちを待ち／それゆえ，主は憐れみを與えようとして／立ち上がられる．まことに，主は正義の神．なんと幸いなことか，すべて主を待ち望む人は．

まことに，シオンの民，エルサレムに住む者よ／もはや泣くことはない．主はあなたの呼ぶ聲に答えて／必ず惠みを與えられる．主がそれを聞いて，直ちに答えてくださる．

わが主はあなたたちに／災いのパンと苦しみの水を與えられた．あなたを導かれる方は／もはや隱れておられることなく／あなたの目は常に／あなたを導かれる方を見る．

And you said, "No, for we will flee on horses," Therefore you shall flee! "And we will ride on swift horses," Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift.

One thousand will flee at the threat of one man; You will flee at the threat of five, Until you are left as a flag on a mountain top And as a signal on a hill.

Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.

O people in Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.

Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher.

あなたの耳は，背後から語られる言葉を聞く．「これが行くべき道だ，ここを步け／右に行け，左に行け」と．

そのとき，あなたは銀で覆った像と／金をはり付けた像を汚し／それを汚れたもののようにまき散らし／「消えうせよ」と言う．

主は，あなたが地に蒔く種に雨を與えられる．地の産み出す穀物は豊かに實る．その日には／あなたの家畜は廣い牧場で草をはみ

地を耕す牛やろばは／ふるいや箕でえり分け／發酵させた飼葉を食べる．

大いなる殺戮の日，塔の倒れるとき／そびえ立つすべての山，高い丘の上に／水路が造られて，水を運ぶ．

Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

And you will defile your graven images overlaid with silver, and your molten images plated with gold You will scatter them as an impure thing, and say to them, "Be gone!"

Then He will give you rain for the seed which you will sow in the ground, and bread from the yield of the ground, and it will be rich and plenteous; on that day your livestock will graze in a roomy pasture.

Also the oxen and the donkeys which work the ground will eat salted fodder, which has been winnowed with shovel and fork.

On every lofty mountain and on every high hill there will be streams running with water on the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

主が民の傷を包み／重い打ち傷をいやされる日／月の光は太陽の光になり／太陽の光は七倍になり／七つの日の光となる．

見よ，主の御名は遠くから來る／怒りに燃え，立ち昇る濃い煙を伴って．その唇は憤りに滿ち／舌は燒き盡くす火のようだ．

主の靈は，首にまで達する水が／¿れ谷にみなぎり溢れるように臨む．主は國¿を欺きのふるいでふるい／迷わす手綱を諸國民の顎にかけられる．

あなたたちは祭りを祝う夜のように歌い／笛に合わせて進む者のように心樂しみ／主の山に來て／イスラエルの岩なる神にまみえる．

主は威嚴ある聲を聞かせ／荒れ狂う怒り，燒き盡くす火の炎／打ちつける雨と石のような音と共に／御腕を振り下ろし，それを示される．

The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day the LORD binds up the fracture of His people and heals the bruise He has inflicted.

Behold, the name of the LORD comes from a remote place; Burning is His anger and dense is His smoke; His lips are filled with indignation And His tongue is like a consuming fire;

You will have songs as in the night when you keep the festival, And gladness of heart as when one marches to the sound of the flute, To go to the mountain of the LORD, to the Rock of Israel.

And the LORD will cause His voice of authority to be heard, And the descending of His arm to be seen in fierce anger, And in the flame of a consuming fire In cloudburst, downpour and hailstones.

主がその鞭をもって打たれるとき／アッシリアは主の聲のゆえにおののく．

主が彼に下そうと定められた／杭の一打ちごとに／太鼓と竪琴が鳴らされ／主は御腕を振るって彼らと戰われる．

燒き場は旣に用意され／王のために深く廣く造られ／燃やすための木が積まれ／多くの薪が置かれ／主の息が燒き盡くす硫黃の流れのように／そこに臨む．

For at the voice of the LORD Assyria will be terrified, When He strikes with the rod.

And every blow of the rod of punishment, Which the LORD will lay on him, Will be with the music of tambourines and lyres; And in battles, brandishing weapons, He will fight them.
