예레미야 11:1-12:17

 예레미야는 유다에게 임하게 된 형벌의 원인이 시내 산에서 맺은 언약을 어겼기 때문이라고 지적하여 백성들로부터 목숨의 위협을 받게 되었다. 이에 기도로 이 사실을 고하며 악한 백성들의 형통함을 항변한 예레미야에게 하나님께서는 죄의 형벌로 유다를 버리신 후 다시 회복시키실 것임을 말씀하셨다.
  
  언약에 근거한 형벌(11:1-11:17)    
 
  1. 主から エレミヤ に 臨んだ 言葉．
  2. 「この 契約の 言葉を 聞け． それを ユダ の 人， エルサレム の 住民に 告げよ．
  3. 彼らに 向かって 言え． イスラエル の 神， 主はこう 言われる． この 契約の 言葉に 聞き 從わない 者は 呪われる．
  4. これらの 言葉はわたしがあなたたちの 先祖を， 鐵の 爐である エジプト の 地から 導き 出したとき， 命令として 與えたものである． わたしは 言った． わたしの 聲に 聞き 從い， あなたたちに 命じるところをすべて 行えば， あなたたちはわたしの 民となり， わたしはあなたたちの 神となる．
  5. それは， わたしがあなたたちの 先祖に 誓った 誓いを 果たし， 今日見るように， 乳と 蜜の 流れる 地を 彼らに 與えるためであった． 」わたしは 答えて 言った． 「ア ― メン ， 主よ 」と．
  1. The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
  2. "Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
  3. and say to them, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, "Cursed is the man who does not heed the words of this covenant
  4. which I commanded your forefathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, 'Listen to My voice, and do according to all which I command you; so you shall be My people, and I will be your God,'
  5. in order to confirm the oath which I swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day "'" Then I said, "Amen, O LORD."
  1. 主はわたしに 言われた． 「ユダ の 町¿と エルサレム の 通りで， これらの 言葉をすべて 呼ばわって 言え． この 契約の 言葉を 聞き， これを 行え．
  2. わたしは， あなたたちの 先祖を エジプト の 地から 導き 上ったとき， 彼らに 嚴しく 戒め， また 今日に 至るまで， 繰り 返し 戒めて， わたしの 聲に 聞き 從え， と 言ってきた．

  1. And the LORD said to me, "Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, 'Hear the words of this covenant and do them.
  2. 'For I solemnly warned your fathers in the day that I brought them up from the land of Egypt, even to this day, warning persistently, saying, "Listen to My voice."
  3. 'Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked, each one, in the stubbornness of his evil heart; therefore I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did not.'"
  4. Then the LORD said to me, "A conspiracy has been found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
  5. "They have turned back to the iniquities of their ancestors who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other gods to serve them; the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant which I made with their fathers."
  1. それゆえ， 主はこう 言われる． 「見よ， わたしは 彼らに 災いをくだす． 彼らはこれを 逃れることはできない． わたしに 助けを 求めて 叫んでも， わたしはそれを 聞き 入れない．

  1. Therefore thus says the LORD, "Behold I am bringing disaster on them which they will not be able to escape; though they will cry to Me, yet I will not listen to them.
  2. "Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry to the gods to whom they burn incense, but they surely will not save them in the time of their disaster.
  3. "For your gods are as many as your cities, O Judah; and as many as the streets of Jerusalem are the altars you have set up to the shameful thing, altars to burn incense to Baal.
  4. "Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not listen when they call to Me because of their disaster.
  5. "What right has My beloved in My house When she has done many vile deeds? Can the sacrificial flesh take away from you your disaster, So that you can rejoice?"
  1. 主はあなたを， 美しい 實の 豊かになる ／綠の オリ ― ブ と 呼ばれた． 大いなる ¿亂の 物音がするとき ／火がそれを 包み， その 枝を 損なう．
  2. あなたを 植えられた 万軍の 主は， あなたについて 災いを 宣言される． それは， イスラエル の 家と ユダ の 家が 惡を 行い， バアル に 香をたいてわたしを 怒らせたからだ．
  1. The LORD called your name, "A green olive tree, beautiful in fruit and form"; With the noise of a great tumult He has kindled fire on it, And its branches are worthless.
  2. The LORD of hosts, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to provoke Me by offering up sacrifices to Baal.
 
  예레미야 살해 음모(11:18-11:23)    
 
  1. 主が 知らせてくださったので ／わたしは 知った． 彼らが 何をしているのか 見せてくださった．
  2. わたしは， 飼いならされた 小羊が ／屠り 場に 引かれて 行くように， 何も 知らなかった． 彼らはわたしに 對して 惡だくみをしていた． 「木をその 實の 盛りに 滅ぼし ／生ける 者の 地から 絶とう． 彼の 名が 再び 口にされることはない． 」
  3. 万軍の 主よ ／人のはらわたと 心を 究め ／正義をもって 裁かれる 主よ． わたしに 見させてください ／あなたが 彼らに 復讐されるのを． わたしは 訴えをあなたに 打ち 明け ／お 任せします．
  4. それゆえ， 主はこう 言われる． アナトト の 人¿はあなたの 命をねらい ／「主の 名によって 預言するな ／我¿の 手にかかって 死にたくなければ 」と 言う．
  5. それゆえ， 万軍の 主はこう 言われる． 「見よ， わたしは 彼らに 罰を 下す． 若者らは 劍の 餌食となり ／息子， 娘らは 飢えて 死ぬ．
  1. Moreover, the LORD made it known to me and I knew it; Then You showed me their deeds.
  2. But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; And I did not know that they had devised plots against me, saying, "Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, And let us cut him off from the land of the living, That his name be remembered no more."
  3. But, O LORD of hosts, who judges righteously, Who tries the feelings and the heart, Let me see Your vengeance on them, For to You have I committed my cause.
  4. Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, "Do not prophesy in the name of the LORD, so that you will not die at our hand";
  5. therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, I am about to punish them! The young men will die by the sword, their sons and daughters will die by famine;
  1. ひとりも 生き 殘る 者はない． わたしは アナトト の 人¿に 災いをくだす． それは 報復の 年だ． 」
  1. and a remnant will not be left to them, for I will bring disaster on the men of Anathoth--the year of their punishment."
 
  항변과 답변(12:1-12:17)    
 
  1. 正しいのは， 主よ， あなたです． それでも， わたしはあなたと 爭い ／裁きについて 論じたい． なぜ， 神に 逆らう 者の 道は 榮え ／欺く 者は 皆， 安穩に 過ごしているのですか．

  4. いつまで， この 地は 乾き ／野の 靑草もすべて 枯れたままなのか． そこに 住む 者らの 惡が ／鳥や ¿を 絶やしてしまった． まことに， 彼らは 言う． 「神は 我¿の 行く 末を 見てはおられない 」と．
  5. あなたが 徒步で 行く 者と 競っても 疲れるなら ／どうして 馬で 行く 者と 爭えようか． 平穩な 地でだけ， 安んじていられるのなら ／ ヨルダン の 森林ではどうするのか．
  1. Righteous are You, O LORD, that I would plead my case with You; Indeed I would discuss matters of justice with You: Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease?
  2. You have planted them, they have also taken root; They grow, they have even produced fruit You are near to their lips But far from their mind.
  3. But You know me, O LORD; You see me; And You examine my heart's attitude toward You Drag them off like sheep for the slaughter And set them apart for a day of carnage!
  4. How long is the land to mourn And the vegetation of the countryside to wither? For the wickedness of those who dwell in it, Animals and birds have been snatched away, Because men have said, "He will not see our latter ending."
  5. "If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?

  1. "For even your brothers and the household of your father, Even they have dealt treacherously with you, Even they have cried aloud after you Do not believe them, although they may say nice things to you."
  2. "I have forsaken My house, I have abandoned My inheritance; I have given the beloved of My soul Into the hand of her enemies.
  3. "My inheritance has become to Me Like a lion in the forest; She has roared against Me; Therefore I have come to hate her.
  4. "Is My inheritance like a speckled bird of prey to Me? Are the birds of prey against her on every side? Go, gather all the beasts of the field, Bring them to devour!
  5. "Many shepherds have ruined My vineyard, They have trampled down My field; They have made My pleasant field A desolate wilderness.
  1. それを 打ち 捨てられて 嘆く 地とした． それは 打ち 捨てられてわたしの 前にある． 大地はすべて 打ち 捨てられ ／心にかける 者もない．
  2. 荒れ 野の 裸の 山に 略奪する 者が 來る． 主の 劍はむさぼる ／地の 果てから 果てまで． すべて 肉なる 者に 平和はない．
  3. 麥を 蒔いても， 刈り 取るのは 茨でしかない． 力を 使い 果たしても， 效果はない． 彼らは 收穫がなくてうろたえる ／主の 怒りと 憤りのゆえに．
  4. 主はこう 言われる． 「わたしが， わたしの 民 イスラエル に 繼がせた 嗣業に 手を 觸れる 近隣の 惡い 民をすべて， 彼らの 地から 拔き 捨てる． また， ユダ の 家を 彼らの 間から 拔き 取る．
  5. わたしは 彼らを 拔き 取った 後， 再び 彼らを 憐れみ， そのひとりひとりをその 嗣業に， その 土地に 歸らせる．
  1. "It has been made a desolation, Desolate, it mourns before Me; The whole land has been made desolate, Because no man lays it to heart.
  2. "On all the bare heights in the wilderness Destroyers have come, For a sword of the LORD is devouring From one end of the land even to the other; There is no peace for anyone.
  3. "They have sown wheat and have reaped thorns, They have strained themselves to no profit But be ashamed of your harvest Because of the fierce anger of the LORD."
  4. Thus says the LORD concerning all My wicked neighbors who strike at the inheritance with which I have endowed My people Israel, "Behold I am about to uproot them from their land and will uproot the house of Judah from among them.
  5. "And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land.
  1. もしこれらの 民が， かつて バアル によって 誓うことをわたしの 民に 敎えたように， わが 名によって， 『主は 生きておられる 』と 誓うことを 確かに 學ぶならば， 彼らはわたしの 民の 間に 建てられる．

  1. "Then if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name, 'As the LORD lives,' even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people.
  2. "But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it," declares the LORD.
