창세기 9:1-10:32

 하나님께서는 노아와 그 아들들에게 생육과 번성의 복을 주셨으며, 다시는 홍수로 세상을 심판하지 않겠다는 약속의 증거로 무지개를 주셨다. 후에 노아는 자신의 술 취해 벗은 모습을 보고 희롱거리로 만든 함의 자손 가나안을 저주하였다. 셈과 함과 야벳의 자손이 번창하여 각기 방언과 종족과 나라대로 살게 됨으로써 땅의 열국 백성이 나뉘었다.
  
  노아의 언약(9:1-9:29)    
 
  1. それで， 神は ノア と， その 息子たちを 祝福して， 彼らに 仰せられた． 「生めよ． ふえよ． 地に 滿ちよ．
  2. 野の ¿， 空の 鳥， ··地の 上を 動くすべてのもの ··それに 海の 魚， これらすべてはあなたがたを 恐れておののこう． わたしはこれらをあなたがたにゆだねている．
  3. 生きて 動いているものはみな， あなたがたの 食物である． 綠の 草と 同じように， すべてのものをあなたがたに 與えた．
  4. しかし， 肉は， そのいのちである 血のあるままで 食べてはならない．
  5. わたしはあなたがたのいのちのためには， あなたがたの 血の 價を 要求する． わたしはどんな ¿にでも， それを 要求する． また 人にも， 兄弟である 者にも， 人のいのちを 要求する．
  1. Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
  2. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands.
  3. Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
  4. "But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.
  5. And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man.
  1. 人の 血を 流す 者は， 人によって， 血を 流される． 神は 人を 神のかたちにお 造りになったから．
  2. あなたがたは 生めよ． ふえよ． 地に 群がり， 地にふえよ． 」
  3. 神は ノア と， 彼といっしょにいる 息子たちに 告げて 仰せられた．
  4. 「さあ， わたしはわたしの 契約を 立てよう． あなたがたと， そしてあなたがたの 後の 子孫と．
  5. また， あなたがたといっしょにいるすべての 生き 物と． 鳥， 家畜， それにあなたがたといっしょにいるすべての 野の ¿， 箱舟から 出て 來たすべてのもの， 地のすべての 生き 物と．
  1. "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.
  2. As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it."
  3. Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him:
  4. "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you
  5. and with every living creature that was with you--the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you--every living creature on earth.
  1. わたしはあなたがたと 契約を 立てる． すべて 肉なるものは， もはや 大洪水の 水では 斷ち 切られない． もはや 大洪水が 地を 滅ぼすようなことはない． 」
  2. さらに 神は 仰せられた． 「わたしとあなたがた， およびあなたがたといっしょにいるすべての 生き 物との 間に， わたしが 代¿永遠にわたって 結ぶ 契約のしるしは， これである．
  3. わたしは 雲の 中に， わたしの 虹を 立てる． それはわたしと 地との 間の 契約のしるしとなる．
  4. わたしが 地の 上に 雲を 起こすとき， 虹が 雲の 中に 現われる．
  5. わたしは， わたしとあなたがたとの 間， およびすべて 肉なる 生き 物との 間の， わたしの 契約を 思い 出すから， 大水は， すべての 肉なるものを 滅ぼす 大洪水とは 決してならない．
  1. I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."
  2. And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
  3. I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
  4. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
  5. I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
  1. 虹が 雲の 中にあるとき， わたしはそれを 見て， 神と， すべての 生き 物， 地上のすべて 肉なるものとの 間の 永遠の 契約を 思い 出そう． 」
  2. こうして 神は ノア に 仰せられた． 「これが， わたしと， 地上のすべての 肉なるものとの 間に 立てた 契約のしるしである． 」
  3. 箱舟から 出て 來た ノア の 息子たちは， セム ， ハム ， ヤペテ であった． ハム は カナン の 父である．
  4. この 三人が ノア の 息子で， 彼らから 全世界の 民は 分かれ 出た．
  5. さて， ノア は， ぶどう 畑を 作り 始めた 農夫であった．
  1. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
  2. So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."
  3. The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.)
  4. These were the three sons of Noah, and from them came the people who were scattered over the earth.
  5. Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.
  1. ノア はぶどう 酒を 飮んで 醉い， 天幕の 中で 裸になっていた．
  2. カナン の 父 ハム は， 父の 裸を 見て， 外にいるふたりの 兄弟に 告げた．
  3. それで セム と ヤペテ は 着物を 取って， 自分たちふたりの 肩に 掛け， うしろ 向きに 步いて 行って， 父の 裸をおおった． 彼らは 顔をそむけて， 父の 裸を 見なかった．
  4. ノア が 醉いからさめ， 末の 息子が 自分にしたことを 知って，
  5. 言った． 「のろわれよ． カナン ． 兄弟たちのしもべらのしもべとなれ． 」
  1. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent.
  2. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside.
  3. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness.
  4. When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him,
  5. he said, "Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers."
  1. また 言った． 「ほめたたえよ． セム の 神， 主を． カナン は 彼らのしもべとなれ．
  2. 神が ヤペテ を 廣げ， セム の 天幕に 住まわせるように． カナン は 彼らのしもべとなれ． 」
  3. ノア は 大洪水の 後， 三百五十年生きた．
  4. ノア の 一生は 九百五十年であった． こうして 彼は 死んだ．
  1. He also said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem.
  2. May God extend the territory of Japheth ; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be his slave."
  3. After the flood Noah lived 350 years.
  4. Altogether, Noah lived 950 years, and then he died.
 
  지상에 퍼진 민족들(10:1-10:32)    
 
  1. これは ノア の 息子， セム ， ハム ， ヤペテ の 歷史である． 大洪水の 後に， 彼らに 子どもが 生まれた．
  2. ヤペテ の 子孫は ゴメル ， マゴグ ， マダイ ， ヤワン ， トバル ， メシェク ， ティラス ．
  3. ゴメル の 子孫は アシュケナズ ， リファテ ， トガルマ ．
  4. ヤワン の 子孫は エリシャ ， タルシシュ ， キティム 人， ドダニム 人．
  5. これらから 海沿いの 國¿が 分かれ 出て， その 地方により， 氏族ごとに， それぞれ 國¿の 國語があった．
  1. This is the account of Shem, Ham and Japheth, Noah's sons, who themselves had sons after the flood.
  2. The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras.
  3. The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah.
  4. The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim and the Rodanim.
  5. (From these the maritime peoples spread out into their territories by their clans within their nations, each with its own language.)
  1. ハム の 子孫は クシュ ， ミツライム ， プテ ， カナン ．
  2. クシュ の 子孫は セバ ， ハビラ ， サブタ ， ラマ ， サブテカ ． ラマ の 子孫は シェバ ， デダン ．
  3. クシュ は ニムロデ を 生んだ． ニムロデ は 地上で 最初の 權力者となった．
  4. 彼は 主のおかげで， 力ある ¿師になったので， 「主のおかげで， 力ある ¿師 ニムロデ のようだ． 」と 言われるようになった．
  5. 彼の 王國の 初めは， バベル ， エレク ， アカデ であって， みな， シヌアル の 地にあった．
  1. The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
  2. The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
  3. Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the earth.
  4. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD."
  5. The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, Akkad and Calneh, in Shinar.
  1. その 地から 彼は， アシュル に 進出し， ニネベ ， レホボテ · イル ， ケラフ ，

  4. Pathrusites, Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came) and Caphtorites.
  5. Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,
  1. エブス 人， エモリ 人， ギルガシ 人，
  2. ヒビ 人， アルキ 人， シニ 人，
  3. アルワデ 人， ツェマリ 人， ハマテ 人を 生んだ． その 後， カナン 人の 諸氏族が 分かれ 出た．
  4. それで カナン 人の 領土は， シドン から ゲラル に 向かって ガザ に 至り， ソドム ， ゴモラ ， アデマ ， ツェボイム に 向かって レシャ にまで 及んだ．
  5. 以上が， その 氏族， その 國語ごとに， その 地方， その 國により 示した ハム の 子孫である．
  1. Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,
  2. Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,
  3. Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans scattered
  4. and the borders of Canaan reached from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.
  5. These are the sons of Ham by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
  1. セム にも 子が 生まれた． セム は エベル のすべての 子孫の 先祖であって， ヤペテ の 兄であった．
  2. セム の 子孫は エラム ， アシュル ， アルパクシャデ ， ルデ ， アラム ．
  3. アラム の 子孫は ウツ ， フル ， ゲテル ， マシュ ．
  4. アルパクシャデ は シェラフ を 生み， シェラフ は エベル を 生んだ．
  5. エベル にはふたりの 男の 子が 生まれ， ひとりの 名は ペレグ であった． 彼の 時代に 地が 分けられたからである． もうひとりの 兄弟の 名は ヨクタン であった．
  1. Sons were also born to Shem, whose older brother was Japheth; Shem was the ancestor of all the sons of Eber.
  2. The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram.
  3. The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshech.
  4. Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah the father of Eber.
  5. Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.
  1. ヨクタン は， アルモダデ ， シェレフ ， ハツァルマベテ ， エラフ ，
  2. ハドラム ， ウザル ， ディクラ ，
  3. オバル ， アビマエル ， シェバ ，
  4. オフィル ， ハビラ ， ヨバブ を 生んだ． これらはみな， ヨクタン の 子孫であった．
  5. 彼らの 定住地は， メシャ から セファル に 及ぶ 東の 高原地帶であった．
  1. Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
  2. Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
  3. Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
  4. Ophir, Havilah and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
  5. The region where they lived stretched from Mesha toward Sephar, in the eastern hill country.
  1. 以上は， それぞれ 氏族， 國語， 地方， 國ごとに 示した セム の 子孫である．
  2. 以上が， その 國¿にいる， ノア の 子孫の 諸氏族の 家系である． 大洪水の 後にこれらから， 諸國の 民が 地上に 分かれ 出たのであった．
  1. These are the sons of Shem by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
  2. These are the clans of Noah's sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood.
