마태복음 16:13-16:28

 베드로의 신앙 고백을 들으신 예수님께서는 자신이 십자가에 달려 돌아가실 것을 말씀하셨다. 그러자 베드로는 이를 만류하였다. 이에 예수님께서는 제자의 길은 자기를 부인하고 주를 따르는 것임을 교훈하셨다.
  
  베드로의 신앙 고백(16:13-16:20)    
 
  1. さて， ピリポ · カイザリヤ の 地方に 行かれたとき， イエス は 弟子たちに 尋ねて 言われた． 「人¿は 人の 子をだれだと 言っていますか． 」
  2. 彼らは 言った． 「バプテスマ の ヨハネ だと 言う 人もあり， エリヤ だと 言う 人もあります． またほかの 人たちは エレミヤ だとか， また 預言者のひとりだとも 言っています． 」
  3. イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「あなたがたは， わたしをだれだと 言いますか． 」
  4. シモン · ペテロ が 答えて 言った． 「あなたは， 生ける 神の 御子 キリスト です． 」
  5. すると イエス は， 彼に 答えて 言われた． 「バルヨナ · シモン ． あなたは 幸いです． このことをあなたに 明らかに 示したのは 人間ではなく， 天にいますわたしの 父です．
  1. When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"
  2. They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
  3. "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"
  4. Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
  5. Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.
  1. ではわたしもあなたに 言います． あなたは ペテロ です． わたしはこの 岩の 上にわたしの 敎會を 建てます． ハデス の 門もそれには 打ち 勝てません．
  2. わたしは， あなたに 天の 御國のかぎを 上げます． 何でもあなたが 地上でつなぐなら， それは 天においてもつながれており， あなたが 地上で 解くなら， それは 天においても 解かれています． 」
  3. そのとき， イエス は， ご 自分が キリスト であることをだれにも 言ってはならない， と 弟子たちを 戒められた．
  1. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
  2. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
  3. Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.
 
  제자의 길(16:21-16:28)    
 
  1. その 時から， イエス · キリスト は， ご 自分が エルサレム に 行って， 長老， 祭司長， 律法學者たちから 多くの 苦しみを 受け， 殺され， そして 三日目によみがえらなければならないことを 弟子たちに 示し 始められた．
  2. すると ペテロ は， イエス を 引き 寄せて， いさめ 始めた． 「主よ． 神の 御惠みがありますように． そんなことが， あなたに 起こるはずはありません． 」
  3. しかし， イエス は 振り 向いて， ペテロ に 言われた． 「下がれ． サタン ． あなたはわたしの 邪魔をするものだ． あなたは 神のことを 思わないで， 人のことを 思っている． 」
  4. それから， イエス は 弟子たちに 言われた． 「だれでもわたしについて 來たいと 思うなら， 自分を 捨て， 自分の 十字架を 負い， そしてわたしについて 來なさい．
  5. いのちを 救おうと 思う 者はそれを 失い， わたしのためにいのちを 失う 者は， それを 見いだすのです．
  1. From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.
  2. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!"
  3. Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."
  4. Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
  5. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.
  1. 人は， たとい 全世界を 手に 入れても， まことのいのちを 損じたら， 何の 得がありましょう． そのいのちを 買い 戾すのには， 人はいったい 何を 差し 出せばよいでしょう．
  2. 人の 子は 父の 榮光を 帶びて， 御使いたちとともに， やがて 來ようとしているのです． その 時には， おのおのその 行ないに 應じて 報いをします．
  3. まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． ここに 立っている 人¿の 中には， 人の 子が 御國とともに 來るのを 見るまでは， 決して 死を 味わわない 人¿がいます． 」
  1. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
  2. For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
  3. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."
