- 主は， 私の 光， 私の 救い． だれを 私は 恐れよう． 主は， 私のいのちのとりで． だれを 私はこわがろう．
- 惡を 行なう 者が 私の 肉を 食らおうと， 私に 襲いかかったとき， 私の 仇， 私の 敵， 彼らはつまずき， 倒れた．
- たとい， 私に 向かって 陣營が 張られても， 私の 心は 恐れない． たとい， 戰いが 私に 向かって 起こっても， それにも， 私は 動じない．
- 私は 一つのことを 主に 願った． 私はそれを 求めている． 私のいのちの 日の 限り， 主の 家に 住むことを． 主の 麗しさを 仰ぎ 見， その 宮で， 思いにふける， そのために．

- The LORD is my light and my salvation-- whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-- of whom shall I be afraid?
- When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.
- Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.
- One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
- For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.
