누가복음 9:7-9:27

 기적을 행하시는 예수님에 대한 소문을 들은 헤롯은 자신이 죽인 세례 요한이 살아났다고 두려워했다. 복음을 전파하고 돌아온 제자들과 함께 벳새다에 가신 예수님께서는 오병 이어의 기적을 행하셨다. 베드로는 예수님을 그리스도라고 고백했으며, 예수님께서는 수난을 예고하시고 자신을 따르는 자들이 지켜야 할 제자된 도리를 교훈하셨다.
  
  기적을 행하심(9:7-9:17)    
 
  1. さて， 國主 ヘロデ は， このすべての 出來事を 聞いて， ひどく 當惑していた． それは， ある 人¿が， 「ヨハネ が 死人の 中からよみがえったのだ． 」と 言い，
  2. ほかの 人¿は， 「エリヤ が 現われたのだ． 」と 言い， さらに 別の 人¿は， 「昔の 預言者のひとりがよみがえったのだ． 」と 言っていたからである．
  3. ヘロデ は 言った． 「ヨハネ なら， 私が 首をはねたのだ． そうしたことがうわさされているこの 人は， いったいだれなのだろう． 」 ヘロデ は イエス に 會ってみようとした．
  4. さて， 使徒たちは 歸って 來て， 自分たちのして 來たことを 報告した． それから イエス は 彼らを 連れて ベツサイダ という 町へひそかに 退かれた．
  5. ところが， 多くの 群衆がこれを 知って， ついて 來た． それで， イエス は 喜んで 彼らを 迎え， 神の 國のことを 話し， また， いやしの 必要な 人たちをおいやしになった．
  1. Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was going on. And he was perplexed, because some were saying that John had been raised from the dead,
  2. others that Elijah had appeared, and still others that one of the prophets of long ago had come back to life.
  3. But Herod said, "I beheaded John. Who, then, is this I hear such things about?" And he tried to see him.
  4. When the apostles returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida,
  5. but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.
  1. そのうち， 日も 暮れ 始めたので， 十二人はみもとに 來て， 「この 群衆を 解散させてください． そして 回りの 村や 部落にやって， 宿をとらせ， 何か 食べることができるようにさせてください． 私たちは， こんな 人里離れた 所にいるのですから． 」と 言った．
  2. しかし イエス は， 彼らに 言われた． 「あなたがたで， 何か 食べる 物を 上げなさい． 」彼らは 言った． 「私たちには 五つの パン と 二匹の 魚のほか 何もありません． 私たちが 出かけて 行って， この 民全體のために 食物を 買うのでしょうか． 」
  3. それは， 男だけでおよそ 五千人もいたからである． しかし イエス は， 弟子たちに 言われた． 「人¿を， 五十人ぐらいずつ 組にしてすわらせなさい． 」
  4. 弟子たちは， そのようにして， 全部をすわらせた．
  5. すると イエス は， 五つの パン と 二匹の 魚を 取り， 天を 見上げて， それらを 祝福して 裂き， 群衆に 配るように 弟子たちに 與えられた．
  1. Late in the afternoon the Twelve came to him and said, "Send the crowd away so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside and find food and lodging, because we are in a remote place here."
  2. He replied, "You give them something to eat." They answered, "We have only five loaves of bread and two fish--unless we go and buy food for all this crowd."
  3. (About five thousand men were there.) But he said to his disciples, "Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each."
  4. The disciples did so, and everybody sat down.
  5. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to set before the people.
  1. 人¿はみな， 食べて 滿腹した． そして， 余った パン 切れを 取り 集めると， 十二かごあった．
  1. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
 
  그리스도와 제자(9:18-9:27)    
 
  1. さて， イエス がひとりで 祈っておられたとき， 弟子たちがいっしょにいた． イエス は 彼らに 尋ねて 言われた． 「群衆はわたしのことをだれだと 言っていますか． 」
  2. 彼らは， 答えて 言った． 「バプテスマ の ヨハネ だと 言っています． ある 者は エリヤ だと 言い， またほかの 人¿は， 昔の 預言者のひとりが 生き 返ったのだとも 言っています． 」
  3. イエス は， 彼らに 言われた． 「では， あなたがたは， わたしをだれだと 言いますか． 」 ペテロ が 答えて 言った． 「神の キリスト です． 」
  4. すると イエス は， このことをだれにも 話さないようにと， 彼らを 戒めて 命じられた．
  5. そして 言われた． 「人の 子は， 必ず 多くの 苦しみを 受け， 長老， 祭司長， 律法學者たちに 捨てられ， 殺され， そして 三日目によみがえらねばならないのです． 」
  1. Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, "Who do the crowds say I am?"
  2. They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, that one of the prophets of long ago has come back to life."
  3. "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "The Christ of God."
  4. Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone.
  5. And he said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."
  1. イエス は， みなの 者に 言われた． 「だれでもわたしについて 來たいと 思うなら， 自分を 捨て， 日¿自分の 十字架を 負い， そしてわたしについて 來なさい．
  2. 自分のいのちを 救おうと 思う 者は， それを 失い， わたしのために 自分のいのちを 失う 者は， それを 救うのです．
  3. 人は， たとい 全世界を 手に 入れても， 自分自身を 失い， 損じたら， 何の 得がありましょう．
  4. もしだれでも， わたしとわたしのことばとを 恥と 思うなら， 人の 子も， 自分と 父と 聖なる 御使いとの 榮光を 帶びて 來るときには， そのような 人のことを 恥とします．
  5. しかし， わたしは 眞實をあなたがたに 告げます． ここに 立っている 人¿の 中には， 神の 國を 見るまでは， 決して 死を 味わわない 者たちがいます． 」
  1. Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
  2. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.
  3. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?
  4. If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
  5. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God."
