요한복음

  본서는 사도 요한이 예수께서 하나님의 아들이심과, 누구든지 그를 믿고 영접하는 자는 구원을 얻게 된다는 진리를 전하기 위해 기록하였다. 4복음서라고도 불리는 본서는 공관복음과는 달리 예수님과 관련된 사건들의 연대기적 발생 순서나 나열에 관심을 두지 않고 그 사건에 내포된 의미나 교훈을 강조하고 있으며, 예수님의 가르침이 긴 강론 형식으로 서술되어 있다.

  본서는 예수님이 하나님의 아들로서 우리의 유일한 구주가 되심을 개괄적으로 기록한 후, 예수님의 일곱 가지 표적을 소개하면서 그 사건의 의미를 서술하고 있다. 특히 13장부터 21장까지 예수님의 공생애 마지막 주간의 사건들을 통해 예수님이 하나님의 아들이시며 그리스도이심을 강조하고, 제자들에게 복음 전파의 사명을 고취시키고 있다.

 

 

요한복음 1:1-1:28

만물보다 먼저 계신 예수님은 육신이 되어 이 땅에 오셨다. 세례 요한은 빛이신 예수님에 대해 증거하며 사람들에게 세례를 베풀었다.
 
  성육신하신 예수님(1:1-1:28)    
 
  1. 初めに, ことばがあった. ことばは 神とともにあった. ことばは 神であった.
  2. この 方は, 初めに 神とともにおられた.
  3. すべてのものは, この 方によって 造られた. 造られたもので, この 方によらずにできたものは 一つもない.
  4. この 方にいのちがあった. このいのちは 人の 光であった.
  5. 光はやみの 中に 輝いている. やみはこれに 打ち 勝たなかった.
  1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
  2. He was with God in the beginning.
  3. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
  4. In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
  5. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
  1. 神から 遣わされた ヨハネ という 人が 現われた.
  2. この 人はあかしのために 來た. 光についてあかしするためであり, すべての 人が 彼によって 信じるためである.
  3. 彼は 光ではなかった. ただ 光についてあかしするために 來たのである.
  4. すべての 人を 照らすそのまことの 光が 世に 來ようとしていた.
  5. この 方はもとから 世におられ, 世はこの 方によって 造られたのに, 世はこの 方を 知らなかった.
  1. There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John.
  2. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe.
  3. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
  4. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.
  5. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
  1. この 方はご 自分のくにに 來られたのに, ご 自分の 民は 受け 入れなかった.
  2. しかし, この 方を 受け 入れた 人¿, すなわち, その 名を 信じた 人¿には, 神の 子どもとされる 特權をお 與えになった.
  3. この 人¿は, 血によってではなく, 肉の 欲求や 人の 意欲によってでもなく, ただ, 神によって 生まれたのである.
  4. ことばは 人となって, 私たちの 間に 住まわれた. 私たちはこの 方の 榮光を 見た. 父のみもとから 來られたひとり 子としての 榮光である. この 方は 惠みとまことに 滿ちておられた.
  5. ヨハネ はこの 方について 證言し, 叫んで 言った. 「『私のあとから 來る 方は, 私にまさる 方である. 私より 先におられたからである. 』と 私が 言ったのは, この 方のことです. 」
  1. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
  2. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--
  3. children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
  4. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
  5. John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.' "
  1. 私たちはみな, この 方の 滿ち 滿ちた 豊かさの 中から, 惠みの 上にさらに 惠みを 受けたのである.
  2. というのは, 律法は モ ― セ によって 與えられ, 惠みとまことは イエス · キリスト によって 實現したからである.
  3. いまだかつて 神を 見た 者はいない. 父のふところにおられるひとり 子の 神が, 神を 說き 明かされたのである.
  4. ヨハネ の 證言は, こうである. ユダヤ 人たちが 祭司と レビ 人を エルサレム から ヨハネ のもとに 遣わして, 「あなたはどなたですか. 」と 尋ねさせた.
  5. 彼は 告白して 否まず, 「私は キリスト ではありません. 」と 言明した.
  1. From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.
  2. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
  3. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only,who is at the Father's side, has made him known.
  4. Now this was John's testimony when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was.
  5. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, "I am not the Christ."
  1. また, 彼らは 聞いた. 「では, いったい 何ですか. あなたは エリヤ ですか. 」彼は 言った. 「そうではありません. 」「あなたはあの 預言者ですか. 」彼は 答えた. 「違います. 」
  2. そこで, 彼らは 言った. 「あなたはだれですか. 私たちを 遣わした 人¿に 返事をしたいのですが, あなたは 自分を 何だと 言われるのですか. 」
  3. 彼は 言った. 「私は, 預言者 イザヤ が 言ったように『主の をまっすぐにせよ. 』と 荒野で 叫んでいる 者の 聲です. 」
  4. 彼らは, パリサイ 人の 中から 遣わされたのであった.
  5. 彼らはまた 尋ねて 言った. 「キリスト でもなく, エリヤ でもなく, またあの 預言者でもないなら, なぜ, あなたは バプテスマ を 授けているのですか. 」
  1. They asked him, "Then who are you? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" He answered, "No."
  2. Finally they said, "Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?"
  3. John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, "I am the voice of one calling in the desert, 'Make straight the way for the Lord.' "
  4. Now some Pharisees who had been sent
  5. questioned him, "Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?"
  1. ヨハネ は 答えて 言った. 「私は 水で バプテスマ を 授けているが, あなたがたの 中に, あなたがたの 知らない 方が 立っておられます.
  2. その 方は 私のあとから 來られる 方で, 私はその 方のくつのひもを 解く 値うちもありません. 」
  3. この 事があったのは, ヨルダン の 向こう 岸の ベタニヤ であって, ヨハネ はそこで バプテスマ を 授けていた.
  1. "I baptize with water," John replied, "but among you stands one you do not know.
  2. He is the one who comes after me, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie."
  3. This all happened at Bethany on the other side of the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
