요한복음 11:45-12:19

 나사로의 부활 소식을 들은 유대 지도자들은 긴급 소집된 산헤드린 공회에서 예수님을 죽이려는 음모를 본격적으로 논의했다. 마리아가 나드 향유를 예수님의 발에 붓고 자기 머리털로 씻기자 예수님께서는 이는 자신의 장사를 위한 것이라며 그녀를 칭찬하셨다. 예수님은 나귀를 타고 예루살렘에 입성하여 무리들로부터 찬양을 받으셨다.
  
  예수를 죽이려는 음모(11:45-11:57)    
 
  1. そこで， マリヤ のところに 來ていて， イエス がなさったことを 見た 多くの ユダヤ 人が， イエス を 信じた．
  2. しかし， そのうちの 幾人かは， パリサイ 人たちのところへ 行って， イエス のなさったことを 告げた．
  3. そこで， 祭司長と パリサイ 人たちは 議會を 召集して 言った． 「われわれは 何をしているのか． あの 人が 多くのしるしを 行なっているというのに．
  4. もしあの 人をこのまま 放っておくなら， すべての 人があの 人を 信じるようになる． そうなると， ロ ― マ 人がやって 來て， われわれの 土地も 國民も 奪い 取ることになる． 」
  5. しかし， 彼らのうちのひとりで， その 年の 大祭司であった カヤパ が， 彼らに 言った． 「あなたがたは 全然何もわかっていない．
  1. Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, put their faith in him.
  2. But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.
  3. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin. "What are we accomplishing?" they asked. "Here is this man performing many miraculous signs.
  4. If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and then the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation."
  5. Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, "You know nothing at all!
  1. ひとりの 人が 民の 代わりに 死んで， 國民全體が 滅びないほうが， あなたがたにとって 得策だということも， 考えに 入れていない． 」
  2. ところで， このことは 彼が 自分から 言ったのではなくて， その 年の 大祭司であったので， イエス が 國民のために 死のうとしておられること，
  3. また， ただ 國民のためだけでなく， 散らされている 神の 子たちを 一つに 集めるためにも 死のうとしておられることを， 預言したのである．
  4. そこで 彼らは， その 日から， イエス を 殺すための 計畵を 立てた．
  5. そのために， イエス はもはや ユダヤ 人たちの 間を 公然と 步くことをしないで， そこから 荒野に 近い 地方に 去り， エフライム という 町にはいり， 弟子たちとともにそこに 滯在された．
  1. You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish."
  2. He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation,
  3. and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one.
  4. So from that day on they plotted to take his life.
  5. Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the Jews. Instead he withdrew to a region near the desert, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples.
  1. さて， ユダヤ 人の 過越の 祭りが 間近であった． 多くの 人¿が， 身を 淸めるために， 過越の 祭りの 前にいなかから エルサレム に 上って 來た．
  2. 彼らは イエス を 搜し， 宮の 中に 立って， 互いに 言った． 「あなたがたはどう 思いますか． あの 方は 祭りに 來られることはないでしょうか． 」
  3. さて， 祭司長， パリサイ 人たちは イエス を 捕えるために， イエス がどこにいるかを 知っている 者は 屆け 出なければならないという 命令を 出していた．
  1. When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, many went up from the country to Jerusalem for their ceremonial cleansing before the Passover.
  2. They kept looking for Jesus, and as they stood in the temple area they asked one another, "What do you think? Isn't he coming to the Feast at all?"
  3. But the chief priests and Pharisees had given orders that if anyone found out where Jesus was, he should report it so that they might arrest him.
 
  향유를 부은 마리아(12:1-12:19)    
 
  1. イエス は 過越の 祭りの 六日前に ベタニヤ に 來られた． そこには， イエス が 死人の 中からよみがえらせた ラザロ がいた．
  2. 人¿は イエス のために， そこに 晩餐を 用意した． そして マルタ は 給仕していた． ラザロ は， イエス とともに 食卓に 着いている 人¿の 中に벙 ㅜ놋失窺 ㅳ淘
  3. マリヤ は， 非常に 高價な， 純粹な ナルド の 香油三百 グラム を 取って， イエス の 足に 塗り， 彼女の 髮の 毛で イエス の 足をぬぐった． 家は 香油のかおりでいっぱいになった．
  4. ところが， 弟子のひとりで， イエス を 裏切ろうとしている イスカリオテ · ユダ が 言った．
  5. 「なぜ， この 香油を 三百 デナリ に 賣って， 貧しい 人¿に 施さなかったのか． 」
  1. Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
  2. Here a dinner was given in Jesus' honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him.
  3. Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
  4. But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected,
  5. "Why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year's wages."
  1. しかしこう 言ったのは， 彼が 貧しい 人¿のことを 心にかけていたからではなく， 彼は 盜人であって， 金入れを 預かっていたが， その 中に 收められたものを， いつも 盜んでいたからである．
  2. イエス は 言われた． 「そのままにしておきなさい． マリヤ はわたしの 葬りの 日のために， それを 取っておこうとしていたのです．
  3. あなたがたは， 貧しい 人¿とはいつもいっしょにいるが， わたしとはいつもいっしょにいるわけではないからです． 」
  4. 大ぜいの ユダヤ 人の 群れが， イエス がそこにおられることを 聞いて， やって 來た． それはただ イエス のためだけではなく， イエス によって 死人の 中からよみがえった ラザロ を 見るためでもあった．
  5. 祭司長たちは ラザロ も 殺そうと 相談した．
  1. He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.
  2. "Leave her alone," Jesus replied. " It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.
  3. You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me."
  4. Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
  5. So the chief priests made plans to kill Lazarus as well,
  1. それは， 彼のために 多くの ユダヤ 人が 去って 行き， イエス を 信じるようになったからである．
  2. その 翌日， 祭りに 來ていた 大ぜいの 人の 群れは， イエス が エルサレム に 來ようとしておられると 聞いて，
  3. しゅろの 木の 枝を 取って， 出迎えのために 出て 行った． そして 大聲で 叫んだ． 「ホサナ ． 祝福あれ． 主の 御名によって 來られる 方に． イスラエル の 王に． 」
  4. イエス は， ろばの 子を 見つけて， それに 乘られた． それは 次のように 書かれているとおりであった．
  5. 「恐れるな． シオン の 娘． 見よ． あなたの 王が 來られる． ろばの 子に 乘って． 」
  1. for on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and putting their faith in him.
  2. The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem.
  3. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Blessed is the King of Israel!"
  4. Jesus found a young donkey and sat upon it, as it is written,
  5. "Do not be afraid, O Daughter of Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey's colt."
  1. 初め， 弟子たちにはこれらのことがわからなかった． しかし， イエス が 榮光を 受けられてから， これらのことが イエス について 書かれたことであって， 人¿がそのとおりに イエス に 對して 行なったことを， 彼らは 思い 出した．
  2. イエス が ラザロ を 墓から 呼び 出し， 死人の 中からよみがえらせたときに イエス といっしょにいた 大ぜいの 人¿は， そのことのあかしをした．
  3. そのために 群衆も イエス を 出迎えた． イエス がこれらのしるしを 行なわれたことを 聞いたからである．
  4. そこで， パリサイ 人たちは 互いに 言った． 「どうしたのだ． 何一つうまくいっていない． 見なさい． 世はあげてあの 人のあとについて 行ってしまった． 」
  1. At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him.
  2. Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word.
  3. Many people, because they had heard that he had given this miraculous sign, went out to meet him.
  4. So the Pharisees said to one another, "See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!"

  호산나( 12:13)  ‘우리를 구원하소서’라는 의미로, 메시아를 대망하는 표현
