- 今の 時のいろいろの 苦しみは， 將來私たちに 啓示されようとしている 榮光に 比べれば， 取るに 足りないものと 私は 考えます．
- 被造物も， 切實な 思いで 神の 子どもたちの 現われを 待ち 望んでいるのです．
- それは， 被造物が 虛無に 服したのが 自分の 意志ではなく， 服從させた 方によるのであって， 望みがあるからです．
- 被造物自體も， 滅びの 束縛から 解放され， 神の 子どもたちの 榮光の 自由の 中に 入れられます．
- 私たちは， 被造物全體が 今に 至るまで， ともにうめきともに 産みの 苦しみをしていることを 知っています．

- I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
- The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
- For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope
- that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
- We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

- そればかりでなく， 御靈の 初穗をいただいている 私たち 自身も， 心の 中でうめきながら， 子にしていただくこと， すなわち， 私たちのからだの ·われることを 待ち 望んでいます．
- 私たちは， この 望みによって 救われているのです． 目に 見える 望みは， 望みではありません． だれでも 目で 見ていることを， どうしてさらに 望むでしょう．
- もしまだ 見ていないものを 望んでいるのなら， 私たちは， 忍耐をもって 熱心に 待ちます．
- 御靈も 同じようにして， 弱い 私たちを 助けてくださいます． 私たちは， どのように 祈ったらよいかわからないのですが， 御靈ご 自身が， 言いようもない 深いうめきによって， 私たちのためにとりなしてくださいます．
- 人間の 心を 探り 窮める 方は， 御靈の 思いが 何かをよく 知っておられます． なぜなら， 御靈は， 神のみこころに 從って， 聖徒のためにとりなしをしてくださるからです．

- Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
- For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?
- But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
- In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
- And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

- 神を 愛する 人¿， すなわち， 神のご 計畵に 從って 召された 人¿のためには， 神がすべてのことを ¿かせて 益としてくださることを， 私たちは 知っています．
- なぜなら， 神は， あらかじめ 知っておられる 人¿を， 御子のかたちと 同じ 姿にあらかじめ 定められたからです． それは， 御子が 多くの 兄弟たちの 中で 長子となられるためです．
- 神はあらかじめ 定めた 人¿をさらに 召し， 召した 人¿をさらに 義と 認め， 義と 認めた 人¿にはさらに 榮光をお 與えになりました．
- では， これらのことからどう 言えるでしょう． 神が 私たちの 味方であるなら， だれが 私たちに 敵對できるでしょう．
- 私たちすべてのために， ご 自分の 御子をさえ 惜しまずに 死に 渡された 方が， どうして， 御子といっしょにすべてのものを， 私たちに 惠んでくださらないことがありましょう．

- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
- For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
- And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
- What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

- 神に 選ばれた 人¿を 訴えるのはだれですか． 神が 義と 認めてくださるのです．
- 罪に 定めようとするのはだれですか． 死んでくださった 方， いや， よみがえられた 方である キリスト · イエス が， 神の 右の 座に 着き， 私たちのためにとりなしていてくださるのです．
- 私たちを キリスト の 愛から 引き 離すのはだれですか． 患難ですか， 苦しみですか， 迫害ですか， 飢えですか， 裸ですか， 危險ですか， 劍ですか．
- 「あなたのために， 私たちは 一日中， 死に 定められている． 私たちは， ほふられる 羊とみなされた． 」と 書いてあるとおりです．
- しかし， 私たちは， 私たちを 愛してくださった 方によって， これらすべてのことの 中にあっても， 壓倒的な 勝利者となるのです．

- Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
- Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
- As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

- 私はこう 確信しています． 死も， いのちも， 御使いも， 權威ある 者も， 今あるものも， 後に 來るものも， 力ある 者も，
- 高さも， 深さも， そのほかのどんな 被造物も， 私たちの 主 キリスト · イエス にある 神の 愛から， 私たちを 引き 離すことはできません．

- For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
- neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
