고린도전서 9:19-10:13

 바울은 복음을 위하여 유대인에게는 유대인처럼, 이방인에게는 이방인처럼, 약한 자들에게는 약한 자처럼 행하였다고 고백하였다. 그리고 이스라엘 출애굽 과정 동안 하나님께 행한 범죄를 거울 삼아 죄악에서 돌아설 것을 권면하였다.
  
  모든 사람의 종(9:19-9:27)    
 
  1. 私はだれに 對しても 自由ですが， より 多くの 人を 獲得するために， すべての 人の 奴隷となりました．
  2. ユダヤ 人には ユダヤ 人のようになりました． それは ユダヤ 人を 獲得するためです． 律法の 下にある 人¿には， 私自身は 律法の 下にはいませんが， 律法の 下にある 者のようになりました． それは 律法の 下にある 人¿を 獲得するためです．
  3. 律法を 持たない 人¿に 對しては， ··私は 神の 律法の 外にある 者ではなく， キリスト の 律法を 守る 者ですが， ··律法を 持たない 者のようになりました． それは 律法を 持たない 人¿を 獲得するためです．
  4. 弱い 人¿には， 弱い 者になりました． 弱い 人¿を 獲得するためです． すべての 人に， すべてのものとなりました． それは， 何とかして， 幾人かでも 救うためです．
  5. 私はすべてのことを， 福音のためにしています． それは， 私も 福音の 惠みをともに 受ける 者となるためなのです．
  1. Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
  2. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.
  3. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.
  4. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.
  5. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
  1. 競技場で 走る 人たちは， みな 走っても， 賞を 受けるのはただひとりだ， ということを 知っているでしょう． ですから， あなたがたも， 賞を 受けられるように 走りなさい．
  2. また 鬪技をする 者は， あらゆることについて 自制します． 彼らは 朽ちる 冠を 受けるためにそうするのですが， 私たちは 朽ちない 冠を 受けるためにそうするのです．
  3. ですから， 私は 決勝点がどこかわからないような 走り 方はしていません． 空を 打つような 拳鬪もしてはいません．
  4. 私は 自分のからだを 打ちたたいて 從わせます． それは， 私がほかの 人に 宣べ 傳えておきながら， 自分自身が 失格者になるようなことのないためです．
  1. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
  2. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
  3. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.
  4. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
 
  역사의 교훈(10:1-10:13)    
 
  1. そこで， 兄弟たち． 私はあなたがたにぜひ 次のことを 知ってもらいたいのです． 私たちの 先祖はみな， 雲の 下におり， みな 海を 通って 行きました．
  2. そしてみな， 雲と 海とで， モ ― セ につく バプテスマ を 受け，
  3. みな 同じ 御靈の 食べ 物を 食べ，
  4. みな 同じ 御靈の 飮み 物を 飮みました． というのは， 彼らについて 來た 御靈の 岩から 飮んだからです． その 岩とは キリスト です．
  5. にもかかわらず， 彼らの 大部分は 神のみこころにかなわず， 荒野で 滅ぼされました．
  1. For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.
  2. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
  3. They all ate the same spiritual food
  4. and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
  5. Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert.
  1. これらのことが 起こったのは， 私たちへの 戒めのためです． それは， 彼らがむさぼったように 私たちが 惡をむさぼることのないためです．
  2. あなたがたは， 彼らの 中のある 人たちにならって， 偶像崇拜者となってはいけません． 聖書には， 「民が， すわっては 飮み 食いし， 立っては 踊った． 」と 書いてあります．
  3. また， 私たちは， 彼らのある 人たちが 姦淫をしたのにならって 姦淫をすることはないようにしましょう． 彼らは 姦淫のゆえに 一日に 二万三千人死にました．
  4. 私たちは， さらに， 彼らの 中のある 人たちが 主を 試みたのにならって 主を 試みることはないようにしましょう． 彼らは 蛇に 滅ぼされました．
  5. また， 彼らの 中のある 人たちがつぶやいたのにならってつぶやいてはいけません． 彼らは 滅ぼす 者に 滅ぼされました．
  1. Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.
  2. Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry."
  3. We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did--and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
  4. We should not test the Lord, as some of them did--and were killed by snakes.
  5. And do not grumble, as some of them did--and were killed by the destroying angel.
  1. これらのことが 彼らに 起こったのは， 戒めのためであり， それが 書かれたのは， 世の 終わりに 臨んでいる 私たちへの 敎訓とするためです．
  2. ですから， 立っていると 思う 者は， 倒れないように 氣をつけなさい．
  3. あなたがたのあった 試練はみな 人の 知らないようなものではありません． 神は 眞實な 方ですから， あなたがたを 耐えることのできないような 試練に 會わせるようなことはなさいません． むしろ， 耐えることのできるように， 試練とともに， 脫出の 道も 備えてくださいます．
  1. These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.
  2. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!
  3. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
