- 兄弟たち． 物の 考え 方において 子どもであってはなりません． 惡事においては 幼子でありなさい． しかし 考え 方においてはおとなになりなさい．
- 律法にこう 書いてあります． 「『わたしは， 異なった 舌により， 異國の 人のくちびるによってこの 民に 語るが， 彼らはなおわたしの 言うことを 聞き 入れない． 』と 主は 言われる． 」
- それで， 異言は 信者のためのしるしではなく， 不信者のためのしるしです． けれども， 預言は 不信者でなく， 信者のためのしるしです．
- ですから， もし 敎會全體が 一か 所に 集まって， みなが 異言を 話すとしたら， 初心の 者とか 信者でない 者とかがはいって 來たとき， 彼らは， あなたがたを 氣違いだと 言わないでしょうか．
- しかし， もしみなが 預言をするなら， 信者でない 者や 初心の 者がはいって 來たとき， その 人はみなの 者によって 罪を 示されます． みなにさばかれ，

- Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.
- In the Law it is written: "Through men of strange tongues and through the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to me," says the Lord.
- Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; prophecy, however, is for believers, not for unbelievers.
- So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?
- But if an unbeliever or someone who does not understandcomes in while everybody is prophesying, he will be convinced by all that he is a sinner and will be judged by all,

- 心の 秘密があらわにされます． そうして， 神が 確かにあなたがたの 中におられると 言って， ひれ 伏して 神を 拜むでしょう．
- 兄弟たち． では， どうすればよいのでしょう． あなたがたが 集まるときには， それぞれの 人が 贊美したり， 敎えたり， 默示を 話したり， 異言を 話したり， 解き 明かしたりします． そのすべてのことを， 德を 高めるためにしなさい．
- もし 異言を 話すのならば， ふたりか， 多くても 三人で 順番に 話すべきで， ひとりは 解き 明かしをしなさい．
- もし 解き 明かす 者がだれもいなければ， 敎會ではだまっていなさい． 自分だけで， 神に 向かって 話しなさい．
- 預言する 者も， ふたりか 三人が 話し， ほかの 者はそれを 吟味しなさい．

- and the secrets of his heart will be laid bare. So he will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, "God is really among you!"
- What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.
- If anyone speaks in a tongue, two--or at the most three--should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret.
- If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and God.
- Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.

- もしも 座席に 着いている 別の 人に 默示が 與えられたら， 先の 人は 默りなさい．
- あなたがたは， みながかわるがわる 預言できるのであって， すべての 人が 學ぶことができ， すべての 人が 勸めを 受けることができるのです．
- 預言者たちの 靈は 預言者たちに 服從するものなのです．
- それは， 神が 混亂の 神ではなく， 平和の 神だからです． 聖徒たちのすべての 敎會で 行なわれているように，
- 敎會では， 妻たちは 默っていなさい． 彼らは 語ることを 許されていません． 律法も 言うように， 服從しなさい．

- And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop.
- For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.
- The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.
- For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints,
- women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says.

- もし 何かを 學びたければ， 家で 自分の 夫に 尋ねなさい． 敎會で 語ることは， 妻にとってはふさわしくないことです．
- 神のことばは， あなたがたのところから 出たのでしょうか． あるいはまた， あなたがたにだけ 傳わったのでしょうか．
- 自分を 預言者， あるいは， 御靈の 人と 思う 者は， 私があなたがたに 書くことが 主の 命令であることを 認めなさい．
- もしそれを 認めないなら， その 人は 認められません．
- それゆえ， わたしの 兄弟たち． 預言することを 熱心に 求めなさい． 異言を 話すことも 禁じてはいけません．

- If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
- Did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached?
- If anybody thinks he is a prophet or spiritually gifted, let him acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord's command.
- If he ignores this, he himself will be ignored.
- Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

- ただ， すべてのことを 適切に， 秩序をもって 行ないなさい．

- But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.
