예레미야 28:1-29:32

 예레미야의 목에 얹은 나무 멍에를 꺾어 버린 거짓 선지자 하나냐는 하나님의 징계를 받아 죽었고, 유다는 쇠 멍에를 얹게 되었다. 예레미야는 바벨론에 잡혀 간 유다 백성들에게 편지를 보내어 귀환할 때까지 그 곳에서 평안히 거할 것을 당부했으며, 거짓 선지자들에게 현혹되지 말 것을 경고하였다. 이에 스마야는 예레미야를 처벌하도록 본국에 요청하였지만 야웨께서는 스마야를 징벌하시겠다고 선언하셨다.
  
  거짓 선지자 하나냐(28:1-28:17)    
 
  1. その 同じ 年， すなわち， ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ の 治世の 初め， 第四年の 第五の 月に， ギブオン の 出の 預言者， アズル の 子 ハナヌヤ が， 主の 宮で， 祭司たちとすべての 民の 前で， 私に 語って 言った．
  2. 「イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主は， こう 仰せられる． わたしは， バビロン の 王のくびきを 打ち ¿く．
  3. 二年のうちに， わたしは， バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル がこの 所から 取って， バビロン に 運んだ 主の 宮のすべての 器をこの 所に 歸らせる．
  4. バビロン に 行った エホヤキム の 子， ユダ の 王 エコヌヤ と， ユダ のすべての 捕囚の 民も， わたしはこの 所に 歸らせる． ··主の 御告げ． ··わたしが バビロン の 王のくびきを 打ち ¿くからだ． 」

  1. In the fifth month of that same year, the fourth year, early in the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur, who was from Gibeon, said to me in the house of the LORD in the presence of the priests and all the people:
  2. "This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
  3. Within two years I will bring back to this place all the articles of the LORD's house that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed from here and took to Babylon.
  4. I will also bring back to this place Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim king of Judah and all the other exiles from Judah who went to Babylon,' declares the LORD, 'for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.' "
  5. Then the prophet Jeremiah replied to the prophet Hananiah before the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the LORD.
  1. 預言者 エレミヤ は 言った． 「ア ― メン ． そのとおりに 主がしてくださるように． あなたが 預言したことばを 主が 成就させ， 主の 宮の 器と， すべての 捕囚の 民が バビロン からこの 所に 歸って 來るように．

  1. He said, "Amen! May the LORD do so! May the LORD fulfill the words you have prophesied by bringing the articles of the LORD's house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon.
  2. Nevertheless, listen to what I have to say in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
  3. From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms.
  4. But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the LORD only if his prediction comes true."
  5. Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it,
  1. そして ハナヌヤ は， すべての 民の 前でこう 言った． 「主はこう 仰せられる． 『このとおり， わたしは 二年のうちに， バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル のくびきを， すべての 國の 首から ¿く． 』」そこで， 預言者 エレミヤ は 立ち 去った．
  2. 預言者 ハナヌヤ が 預言者 エレミヤ の 首からかせを 取ってこれを ¿いて 後， エレミヤ に 次のような 主のことばがあった．

  1. and he said before all the people, "This is what the LORD says: 'In the same way will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon off the neck of all the nations within two years.' " At this, the prophet Jeremiah went on his way.
  2. Shortly after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
  3. "Go and tell Hananiah, 'This is what the LORD says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place you will get a yoke of iron.
  4. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will put an iron yoke on the necks of all these nations to make them serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they will serve him. I will even give him control over the wild animals.' "
  5. Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, "Listen, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies.
  1. それゆえ， 主はこう 仰せられる． 『見よ． わたしはあなたを 地の 面から 追い 出す． ことし， あなたは 死ぬ． 主への 反逆をそそのかしたからだ． 』」
  2. 預言者 ハナヌヤ はその 年の 第七の 月に 死んだ．
  1. Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. This very year you are going to die, because you have preached rebellion against the LORD.' "
  2. In the seventh month of that same year, Hananiah the prophet died.
 
  포로된 백성에게 보낸 편지(29:1-29:23)    
 
  1. 預言者 エレミヤ は， ネブカデネザル が エルサレム から バビロン へ 引いて 行った 捕囚の 民， 長老たちで 生き 殘っている 者たち， 祭司たち， 預言者たち， およびすべての 民に， エルサレム から 手紙を 送ったが， そのことばは 次のとおりである．

  1. This is the text of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders among the exiles and to the priests, the prophets and all the other people Nebuchadnezzar had carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.
  2. (This was after King Jehoiachin and the queen mother, the court officials and the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen and the artisans had gone into exile from Jerusalem.)
  3. He entrusted the letter to Elasah son of Shaphan and to Gemariah son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon. It said:
  4. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon:
  5. "Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.
  1. 妻をめとって， 息子， 娘を 生み， あなたがたの 息子には 妻をめとり， 娘には 夫を 與えて， 息子， 娘を 産ませ， そこでふえよ． 減ってはならない．
  2. わたしがあなたがたを 引いて 行ったその 町の 繁榮を 求め， そのために 主に 祈れ． そこの 繁榮は， あなたがたの 繁榮になるのだから． 」
  3. まことに， イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主は， こう 仰せられる． 「あなたがたのうちにいる 預言者たちや， 占い 師たちにごまかされるな． あなたがたが 夢を 見させている， あなたがたの 夢見る 者の 言うことを 聞くな．
  4. なぜなら， 彼らはわたしの 名を 使って 僞りをあなたがたに 預言しているのであって， わたしが 彼らを 遣わしたのではないからだ． ··主の 御告げ． ··」
  5. まことに， 主はこう 仰せられる． 「バビロン に 七十年の 滿ちるころ， わたしはあなたがたを 顧み， あなたがたにわたしの 幸いな 約束を 果たして， あなたがたをこの 所に 歸らせる．
  1. Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease.
  2. Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."
  3. Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have.
  4. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them," declares the LORD.
  5. This is what the LORD says: "When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place.
  1. わたしはあなたがたのために 立てている 計畵をよく 知っているからだ． ··主の 御告げ． ··それはわざわいではなくて， 平安を 與える 計畵であり， あなたがたに 將來と 希望を 與えるためのものだ．
  2. あなたがたがわたしを 呼び 求めて 步き， わたしに 祈るなら， わたしはあなたがたに 聞こう．
  3. もし， あなたがたが 心を 盡くしてわたしを 搜し 求めるなら， わたしを 見つけるだろう．
  4. わたしはあなたがたに 見つけられる． ··主の 御告げ． ··わたしは， あなたがたの 捕われ 人を 歸らせ， わたしがあなたがたを 追い 散らした 先のすべての 國¿と， すべての 場所から， あなたがたを 集める． ··主の 御告げ． ··わたしはあなたがたを 引いて 行った 先から， あなたがたをもとの 所へ 歸らせる． 」
  5. あなたがたは， 「主は 私たちのために， バビロン でも 預言者を 起こされた． 」と 言っているが，
  1. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
  2. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
  3. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
  4. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."
  5. You may say, "The LORD has raised up prophets for us in Babylon,"
  1. まことに， 主は， ダビデ の 王座に 着いている 王と， この 町に 住んでいるすべての 民と， 捕囚としてあなたがたといっしょに 出て 行かなかったあなたがたの 兄弟について， こう 仰せられる．

  1. but this is what the LORD says about the king who sits on David's throne and all the people who remain in this city, your countrymen who did not go with you into exile-
  2. yes, this is what the LORD Almighty says: "I will send the sword, famine and plague against them and I will make them like poor figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.
  3. I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth and an object of cursing and horror, of scorn and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them.
  4. For they have not listened to my words," declares the LORD, "words that I sent to them again and again by my servants the prophets. And you exiles have not listened either," declares the LORD.
  5. Therefore, hear the word of the LORD, all you exiles whom I have sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon.
  1. イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主は， わたしの 名によってあなたがたに 僞りを 預言している 者である コラヤ の 子 アハブ と， マアセヤ の 子 ゼデキヤ について， こう 仰せられる． 「見よ． わたしは 彼らを， バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル の 手に 渡す． 彼はあなたがたの 目の 前で， 彼らを 打ち 殺す．

  1. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies to you in my name: "I will hand them over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your very eyes.
  2. Because of them, all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon will use this curse: 'The LORD treat you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned in the fire.'
  3. For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery with their neighbors' wives and in my name have spoken lies, which I did not tell them to do. I know it and am a witness to it," declares the LORD.
 
  스마야의 편지(29:24-29:32)    
 
  1. あなたは ネヘラム 人 シェマヤ に 次のように 言わなければならない．

  1. Tell Shemaiah the Nehelamite,
  2. "This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You sent letters in your own name to all the people in Jerusalem, to Zephaniah son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the other priests. You said to Zephaniah,
  3. 'The LORD has appointed you priest in place of Jehoiada to be in charge of the house of the LORD; you should put any madman who acts like a prophet into the stocks and neck-irons.
  4. So why have you not reprimanded Jeremiah from Anathoth, who poses as a prophet among you?
  5. He has sent this message to us in Babylon: It will be a long time. Therefore build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.' "
  1. ··祭司 ゼパニヤ がこの 手紙を 預言者 エレミヤ に 讀んで 聞かせたとき，
  2. エレミヤ に 次のような 主のことばがあった． ··
  3. 「すべての 捕囚の 民に 言い 送れ． 主は ネヘラム 人 シェマヤ にこう 仰せられる． わたしは シェマヤ を 遣わさなかったのに， シェマヤ があなたがたに 預言し， あなたがたを 僞りに 據り 賴ませた．
  4. それゆえ， 主はこう 仰せられる． 『見よ． わたしは ネヘラム 人 シェマヤ と， その 子孫とを 罰する． 彼に 屬する 者で， だれもこの 民の 中に 住んで， わたしがわたしの 民に 行なおうとしている 良いことを 見る 者はいない． ··主の 御告げ． ··彼が 主に 對する 反逆をそそのかしたからである． 』」
  1. Zephaniah the priest, however, read the letter to Jeremiah the prophet.
  2. Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
  3. "Send this message to all the exiles: 'This is what the LORD says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has led you to believe a lie,
  4. this is what the LORD says: I will surely punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his descendants. He will have no one left among this people, nor will he see the good things I will do for my people, declares the LORD, because he has preached rebellion against me.' "
